What're the dumb scientists doing, sera? XD
mmm "Now For Something Completely Different" makes me happy in ways that are not easily counted.
But then, I never did want to count anything... I wanted to be... a LUMBERJACK!

New Jersey... where the weak are killed and eaten. Or so the stupid t-shirts say. I've never killed and eaten anyone, personally.
Meaning of Life I didn't like quite as much.. I think because of the guy who explodes. It just totally grossed me out. The whole movie is like watching an extra long episode of Flying Circus.
But the Lumberjack song is fantabulous. ;D

XD!!!!
they're talking about fear and all that. anyways, so this scientist is trying to explain wot they're doing and why and he's using all these big words and the lady's just staring at him nodding and you can tell from her expression it's not going through. i'm like. . dude. just tell her 'we're trying to figure out why it's freaking you out so we can try to fix it.' >>;;
and NOW they're checking to find out if these kids are going to freak out b/c their parents freak out. well, DOIT. <<;;; if you see your parent freaking out constantly about something, you're a lot more likely freak out about it too. doit.
and EARLIER they disconnected the fear part of these monkeys brains and, eventually, concluded that without it, the monkeys wouldn't last long in the wild. ya THINK?! ><;;;;; it makes me sad, so very sad, that we're paying tax dollars for that. <<;;

lol.. I'm all for discovering knowledge for the sake of knowledge and all, but sometimes I really wonder how people get their grants.

but, speaking of brains, i need to go study for my psych exam. ^^; see you all later! <3

*nods* it could possibly be a good idea, but. . . gads, they just do it in stupid ways. >>;;;
i mean, let's just stop and thing. if you don't have the part of your brain telling you to fight or flight, how likely is it that a monkey would survive in the wild without it? >>; DOIT.
earlier they had a program about babies and all that. also interesting, but. . . >> some of the tests i was just arguing with.
'but the button was on his right EVERY time. maybe he just thought the right side was correct.' ^^;;;

Byeeee!! Good luck!
That doesn't sound like a very legit test if the same button was "correct" every time.

i'll grant that they MAY have done the test several times with different babies. and hopefully they changed the buttons. <<;;; but it wasn't the exact same button, it was just on the same side. they had those little toy things where you push a button and makes noises and wotnot. know wot i'm talking about? hehe
hrms. . . and wot should the markings look like? she's. . . very green right now. .. hehe maybe some purples? is that still wind-ish?

*nods* you should! hehe if you were to get a naa, wot would you want it to look like? *Always nosy about her crits* ^^;;;
i think i'm too practical for these scientific tests. 'wot are your fears?' 'well, i have a fear of heights and big groups of people.' 'do you get panic attacks?' 'yep.' 'do you find yourself not going places because of your fears?' 'no, dude, i suck it up and get my stuff done anyway. <<' '. . . we can't use you. you may go.' hehe
