This scares the crap out of me. We live 20 miles from the VX plant. If it gets bombed we would all be dead here. It would wipe out most of Indiana and Illinios

The plant in Newport that makes/stores VX. They are in the process of destroying/moving it all, but it has taken two years to get done the little bit they got done. My ex used to work up there and I guess it is going to take even longer than they thought to get the job done.

My aunt, uncle, and cousin live in London. I'm still trying to get a hold of them to make sure they're okay.

It is so, so weird to think that a few weeks ago, I was there. I was on the subway every day. I'm pretty sure I passed through some of the stations on the lines that were affected...
I have three friends in London, so I just emailed them, and hopefully I'll hear back soon that they're ok. I'm glad that my boyfriend is in Wales, and not England, as is his family... though he'll have to get to the airport superearly now when he comes in two weeks, as he's flying from London... but the hassles of longer checks for increased security is a small price to pay, I'd say.
My thoughts are going out to all those who're affected...
And Nyx, I know how you feel as far as worry goes. I'm right by NYC, major target as has already been shown... and nearby is Indian Point, with (joy!) nuclear reactors and whatnot. Extremely controversial plant, I'm hoping at least they're having regrets about putting the freaking thing in now...
But yeah. Stuff like this really doesn't improve my view on humanity.
