wasn't sure if i should start a new thread or edit. working on a new adult image for below and hoping for c+c and/or more suggestions and wotnot. ^^ no, it is not finished. i3.photobucket.com/albums/y85/seraaches/001ma.jpg---------------------------------------------- so. debating about doing a sort of candidate-based adoption (( just need a char to bond )) that would definitely not be a very often thing. more like whenever i felt like it. . . hehe not sure if there'd even be any interest in this. also, wouldn't mind some conformation aid, tho, i totally killed the adult image. <<;;; basic info these would be handdrawn, each one diff't, probably computer coloured. may reuse baby forms, but unlikely. 2-3 stages. <<;; not sure if i liked the smallest one. lol basic idea i3.photobucket.com/albums/y85/seraaches/001m.jpgwot you can expect from these are the same basic head shape, same toes, same sort of body (( wyvernish )) pretty well everything else can change, and working on the legs and feet shape. also needed c+c. we're having some conformation issues. normally, they won't be as leggy as this guy. *.* anyways, so there it is. feedback welcome and needed! thanks, guys.

Hum, very interesting. I feel like I want to see a wider chest on the adult. Either that, or have the neck be a more obvious continuation of the back line with a nice "s" shape. I'd be interested in adopting.

Well, I think it's rather cool, though I don't think it looks wyvernish at all, unless you plan on adding wings later (wyvernish to me is one pair of wings and one pair of legs on a dragonish creature)

Yay for uniquely-drawn Candidate adoptions XD; And I like the legs that long, but then.. I would >_>;
But yeah, are they were going to have wings, or always be wingless?

Eyes should be a little bigger on the adult to fit the head more. Again wing thingy but other wise very cute

mmm, on the creature itself, totally. but with the candidate thing added in, it would depend a lot on the details of the rules. I'm funny about extra personas moving into my happy little world. ;D Oldest child syndrome, maybe.

Hmmmm, depends on what she means by wyyern. I do recall a book, The Firebringer having them be wingless And legless...being more snakelike. I think that she what Sera means since the bodies are long.
I like the long legs too. XD And the paws are pretty awesome. ^_^ I agree with Silv and AR though. More chest, bigger eyes, and the back to neck could be improved.

Ok, those are sexy, you've got a good idea going, I want 20 <_<
To agree with Silv, widen the chest a bit, if they're dragons, or anything, they need some room for lungs, muscles and heart, they're big animals. I noticed that they're greyhoundish in shape, you might wanna look at some greyhounds to get an idea of how to spring out the ribs and widen the chest n_n And again to agree with Silv, the neck, more of an S shape, except thinner at the top, and wider at the base to make them look more elegant and less reptilian or bull necked, cause the way you have the head positioned, with a neck that thick, it wouldn't be able to bend that way.
Also, the front legs need a joint to attach to, those kinda sprout from the body, but you've got the placement perfect. If you look at my dragons, you'll see that they have an elbow up close to their ribcages, that'll help a lot in making them look like a limb instead of a growth or something weird XD
The back legs are a little too straight for my personal liking, but that's just me, I exagerate my hind limbs n_n; And tip for the feet, give them wrists, like I do on the dragons, again, something you can even look to greyhounds for, just an ankle, and a bit of space to spread from, and room for the claws.
I do really really really like them though n___n I can't wait to see em get off the ground.

I agree with Leafy and Silvanon, but would just like to add one more thing. The face... on the adult, you can kinda tell there's a nose there... but maybe you need a bit more detail. Whenever I draw dragons they're all tricked out with spikes and crests and stuff, I'm not saying that you have to add on things, I'm just saying that there are details on even plain faces. Like, a bump for the cheekbone or eyebrows, that kind of thing.

thanks everyone for the feedback! ^^ @silv and leafy -- yosh, i totally botched the chest on the adult. ><! i have a previous one that isn't inked where his chest actually flows with the S curve, but this one. . . . <<;;; YAH. more like the first baby pose, i think. also @ leafy - thank you for all the pointers and wotnot! ^^ i'll definitely be going over it again, as well as everyone else's suggestions. since this guy's inked he gets to stay the way he is, but the next one, oh hoho! << *plots at the next one* as for wings. . . i generally hate my wings. ^^;;; which is why i'm trying to avoid doing them until i get more practice just sketching them. that's part of why this guy is the example and not the previous one; i tried to do draconic wings and crashed and burned. <<; axis - the bump for the nose is a little difficult to see because of his back. normally i add the nose detailing in with the colouring. ^^ anything else would definitely be on a dragon by dragon basis. *chews happily on lumi for reading her mind again* hehe. yosh, b/c of the longish body. ^^ *hopes she's covered everybody since she now wants to draw* ^^ *chewloves*

Sera, instead of keeping him the way he is, color him, shrink him, and make him a middle stage so you can re-do the adult stage and make it sexy n_n shrink the original middle stage too so that can be the pup stage, cause they're awesome n_n the adult just needed work n_n And if you make the current adult th emiddle, you can blame it on those akward teenage years XD
