This was a commission for a High School friend of mine, and I'd like to get some critique and opinions before I show him the final product. The image has been scaled down and is a bit blurry in places, but what do you guys think? Anything bother you?

That is very stunning. At first I wasn't too keen on the messy line look for the coloring, but actually, it's rather growing on me O.o
May I ask what program(s) you use?

it is nice, perhaps becaues of the orb's light, the rocks in the background could have some more hilights? just to slightly emphasise them slightly nothing major... but then again, I often over kill my high/low lighting so you could completely disregard this comment. but I do like it now, very nice. I love the concept of it too. Very well done!

It's very cool! The arms look slightly stiff, however... It's a problem I get alot, too...

It's very nice, you did a good job with it.
One comment....the first time I saw this pic I spent forever trying to figure out why the middle head had this back eye sticking out at such a weird angle. I finally realized the eye belongs to the leftmost back head. I figured once I'd realized what it was suppost to be I wouldn't go back to seeing it that way again, but...I just did. ^^
I think there needs to be a stronger line distiguishing the middle head from the left one. The left head is pretty much the same tones as the center one right now. Maybe some darker shadows where the left head goes behind the center head. Also maybe move the left one a little away from the middle one so the left's eye doesn't touch the center's head.
