For those of us in the States, Thanksgiving is this week. I think last year I forgot to follow through with my tradition of a daily thankful thread, but I'd like to revive the tradition this year.
Today a lady at church asked me to be part of a trio to perform a musical number in church next week. A week isn't very long to get a song put together to performance level, especially when you probably can't get together for many practices. So, I brought the music home with me, and asked Mom, who plays piano, to help me learn my part. Thanks to Mom's help, I feel like I will indeed know the song well enough to perform it in a week. I'm thankful that Mom knows the piano and was willing to give her time to help me out.

((Is anybody allowed to post something they're thankful for? Or are we reminded about Thanksgiving by reading your daily posts?))

Every day I am thankful for the support my friends and family give me.
Even though I've moved out from my family, and not lived up to their expectations by going to college. Even though I'm living with the man I love and I'm dating, without having married first. No matter how I seem to defy the good things they've taught me, they love me. Any time I visit I get no guilt, only the joy they feel to spend time with me now that I'm living out of town. And with my money tight, they're always there to offer me home-cooked food, canned soups they 'won't -really- need' and even a bit of money here and there to help me support myself.
My friends have provided me with a job I can do with ease, looking after their daughter each day with full access to the internet, the cable tv, and the kitchen. They've been there to help me in that, and shuttle myself and my boyfriend around until we (just recently) were able to get a car. Not only do they help us practically, but they're always a call away whenever we need to talk, support, or just someone to hang out with. These are people I know I'll still be in contact with as I grow older. These are the sort of friends that last.
And last (but far from least) I'm thankful for my loving boyfriend. No matter how difficult I can be. No matter how much trouble I give him or how many times I leave the lights on. Regardless of my silly hobby of collecting both old and new my little ponies (I have a book-case full) he loves me to pieces. He appreciates me because of my flaws, not in spite of them.
I am thankful for all of these people every day of my life.

I am thankful for all the friends I've made, the people who forgave my mistakes and gave me a chance(or two) to show them who I am and be their friend. The ones who took me seriously when I wanted to be and who joked around with me when I didn't. The ones who let me cry on their shoulders. I'm thankful for all the people who reconized the wrong being done and supported me. I'm thankful for all my friends who never betrayed me and even the ones who did. I am thankful for a wrong finally being made right.
Especially thankful for a wonderful person who is the most fair, kind, understanding, no-nonsense, sweet, logical person I've ever met. Whom doesn't take sides and makes decisions for herself.
I'm thankful for having two of the best parents in the world, who were always loving even if they didn't know or understand what was going on during the worst years of my life in HS. I'm thankful for my pain in the butt sisters for being my sisters and I know there are no other people like them in the whole world.
Thankful for all the animals who have blessed me with their lives and love however long, or short the time they were with me. I'll love them forever.
Last but not least, I'm thankful to a group of people who taught me the hardest lessons for online and cyberadoptions, when I didn't have a clue. Though it was painful and hurtful, the lessons have been learned and won't be forgotten.
^.^

I'm thankful for my friends, both in RL and on the Net. I love them all to pieces and am so grateful for the support and love they offer.
I'm grateful for my family and church community. They too are supportive and help me to learn, even if there are some things I don't tell them or the times ai brush away their help.
And I'm thanful for horses. Big ones, small ones, pretty ones, ugly ones, mean ones, good ones...if it's equine I adore it. *luvvles the horses*

I am Thankful for my wonderful family, friends, and pets That help me get through every day. My family is so supportive of everything I do, and I'm so grateful for their loving care and support. My best friend, Elisa, helps me get through every day, especially when I am feeling down. Just today, I was feeling very sad, because some of my guy friends were ignoring me (one of them I happen to like ) and she followed me around, trying to get me to perk up, and telling me they weren't worth it. It made me feel so awesome that I had a friend like that. Thank you Elisa! ;D

Tonight, I'm thankful for antibiotics, and different caging options, because Moe is actually getting better from his allergies and respitory infection. Two days ago I was quite afraid I was going to loose him, but now I think he'll make it.

Regardless of my silly hobby of collecting both old and new my little ponies (I have a book-case full) he loves me to pieces. <3 -loves My little ponies- I haven't gotten any of the new ones, though. But between my older sisters and my own collection, we've a -lot- of ponies ::nods:: Anyways, I am thankful for my family (both human and non) and my friends. My family is always there, even though they clearly disapproave of nearly everything I do, and piss me off entirely.... wait, no this is thankful not hateful... I love them ^_^ And of coarse, my non-human family including me doggie, all six cats (young and old) and me luffly horsies! And I am grateful of my friends who are always willing to hang out when I can't stand being in my house anymore, lol.

I am thankful for the lovely snow falling gracefully to cover the frosted ground, what a beautiful sight to see in the morning.
To my rescued kittens that have taken over most of my life with care and playtime. My cat Mina who barely tolerates them, but still finds time to cuddle with me.
