DSL - Taking over the world isn't always a bad thing... Devious, though. ^_^ *waves*
Silv - My computer seems to be doing alright, at least for now. When the temperature starts going up, things change. *blush* Aie, I'm inspirational! *cough* Now, if only I could inspire myself. ;_;
Nyx - I've heard Angelfire hates most people. I can rarely get their pages to load on my computer. *kicks them*
Sky - I know the feeling, although I should be unpacking right now. *eyes boxes suspiciously*

*waves to Silv* I should be finished with them within an hour or so, unless my computer decides to crash on me again. ;_; Your Wobbles are /adorable/. It seems there's a current trend with drawing cute, small, fluffy things that make people melt on sight. <3 Tevla-Roja? Awesome ^_^; I'm starting to see them everywhere. They're multiplying! Run for the hills!

*abuses Photoshop* I want my muse back. ;_;
What's everyone up to? *needs something to pass the time until she actually decides to change out of her PJ's and get to work on something outside the computer*

I probably will if I'm around on the day of the draw. <3 And I think everyone has those days of feeling really, really ignored. *hug* Not that it makes the feeling go away, though. So, ah... What ideas do you have for the 200th? A contest? Page making? Drawing? Coloring? Riddle? Random? Find-a-something? Design/Muse maker? Role-play? Dance? (Ugh, dancing contest. )

*is nose-thumbed* Hey!
It's just a personal opinion. I didn't mean to insult, if I did. >.>;
Old geezer sitting on the porch waving sticks at those young'ns writing in colors. Back in /my/ day, now... <.<;

Does it look bad if I write in [glow=yellow,2,300]Yellow? [/glow] Personally, I think it looks bad to write in any color, especially something glowing and yellow. ...but that's just me. and somehow this theme for the Orchard blocks it.

Sera- I wish I knew the technical term for those little wooden things too. It's on the tip of my tongue, but I think my tea burned it off. ; *luffs* Thank you for your compliments. I was worried the sketchy style would be annoying for most everyone. <3 DarkWillow - #^_^# *blush* Arielle - Yup, anatomy is pretty much what I'm going for. I already have two "Anatomy for Artists" books, but both are mostly for my equine anatomy. I don't have any for human, yet. Gives me something to look for in some used book stores . Thanks for the recommendation! I'd also /love/ to do nude models, but my town's pretty small. They did offer a private class last summer, but I don't want to spend $20 a lesson. (And my school doesn't let non majors take Art classes ;_; ) Indigo - Stock photography! *scribbles down notes* I hadn't even thought of that. I wish I could use DA's search feature, but at least that section will give me some ideas. Ann - Yeah, I've considered the airbrushing aspect of magazines too. Plus, I don't like drawing 'perfect' bodies and that's about all I'll get out of magazines. Stiffness Yeah, I've really got to work on that. I also have to learn to get away from the sketchy lines and draw something solid. Practice, practice. ^^ Thank you! Pega - I'm sort of the same way. I'm nervous about even considering a nude figure drawing class, but I think it'd be worth it in the end. Dawby - Movie stills! Whoo *scribbles* That's a good one too, especially for mid-motion poses. I've been doing that 'draw one body part' thing for a while, too. I have a feet page in one of my sketchbooks. XD Mmm... <3 Thank you for your comments! - *feels all blushy-happy* XDXDXD *luffs!* Thank you!

Heh. I feel like spamming artness. um. yeah. <3 Forgive me if this is completely annoying. I understand. I've been trying to draw humans, but I don't really have any references other than myself, and I seem to be very difficult to sketch. (Something about standing in weird poses and trying to draw while looking in the mirror just doesn't compute.) So, do any of you have good books, tricks of the trade, or ideas to getting more familiar with the human figure? I'm thinking about buying one of those little wooden model people to use as a basis. I use the block-construction method, and it works, but I haven't gotten a feel for the whole human structure without some sort of tangible reference thing. Has anyone used these? Are they useful? Another idea would be to get magazine clippings and just pratice drawing the people from there. Only problem with that is often they're just headshots. (I need to learn faces, sure, but I want to draw whole body.) Any other good resources for human references? And... Spam. Amizra and a sketch. The first is a character of mine, the second... well... isn't anything more than a finals-induced sketch. (Both are linked to DA ;_; )

Thanks for the luck, Lessa! ^_^

Congrats! Senior year is so much fun, hectic, sad, happy, and... Well, a general mix of everything.
Hope you've had a great year, and good luck in college!

Looks like a tie. Might help if it were longer though. It looks a little... Vertically compressed at the moment.
