(OFF: I'm very sorry - I thought I had posted a notice writing Windsage out of the rp, apparently I hadn't... I've been travelling in Thailand for a few weeks. (I had a brilliant time, yes Do you still want to go on?) Lowering his head, he replied to the faoun's question. "It is not for my personal gain, I need adwise on behalf of others.... advise which seems increasingly difficult to find." Windsage's face fell, shadows of failed encounters shading his eyes. With conscious effort he shook himself from this reviere. With a toss of his mane he smiled up at the mare. "As you say, m'dear. Life is more than sand and hunting, and the hunt goes on for another day. I can leave it for now to hunt more mundane things, if you please...?"

Windsage shook his head. "Nor am I. I daresay you would get a kingly reception in Northlight valley, though - they enjoy entertainment over there." He sighed under his breath. "I would need a magican or a master healer, not a jester."

Following suit, Windsage lowered his head in a bow. "Pleased to meet you, faun. Prince or no, it is not everyday one get to see one of your kind..." Making sure to catch Nathciandra's eye, he added. "it is long time since such a wanderer as myself enjoyed this kind of noble company."
Slightly uncomfortably, he reminded himself. ::You have stayed too long, there is work to do. remember?::

"Indeed you should have." The stallion replied, mock sternly. "Maybe there would have been a reference to us in some footnote." Giving the female a glance, he thought to himself that if this Paula had been only half as pretty as she was, he would most definatly have ignored geography too... "By the way, they call me Windsage." he offered an introduction.

The stallion flickered his tail in her direction. "I think we have to be truthful here. dismal it is, right? So why deny it? *he grins at her over his shoulder*
"Drigus." He calmly answers the faun. "That's what we are... and where we come from? Well, here, I guess..." He glances over at the female. "Or what do you think would be the proper answer?"
(Sorry guys, I haven't been around for a few days)

Windsage had planned to wait until the faun turned away and then sneak around to startle him again. The stallion had just risen from his hiding-place, bits of wet leaves and grass still clinging to his coat, when the unfamilliar voice behind him made him jump. He whirled around to face the mare and then, realizing how stupied he must have looked, laughed and tossed his wet mane out of his eyes. "As it pleases you, milady." He agreed smoothly. "I'm glad you joined us, it is nice to see that I'm not the only one of our kind suffering this dismal weather."
He sat down, arranging his long tail in a neat curve around himself. "Well, Minstrel," He adressed the faun. "May we request a song?"

The sound of music made Windsage raise his head. Not bad, actually. The tones seemed to fall easily from the bard's hands. The drigius could almost picture them, a cascade of water, but not this gently dripping wetness, rather an eager brook in springtime. Anyway...
Quietly sneaking around, Windsage decided to play the little faun a small trick... it was way too quiet here today. Carefully, he stretched out his long tail, just so much that the tip brushed Pallo's neck. Then, before the faun had time to turn around, he withdrew and lay down into a big pile of leaves.
(OFF: The faun is very cute!)

The soft grass, the wet leaves felt strange under his paws, used to walking the hot sand of the desert. Last night, he had slept under the stars of Alonnia... it was too long ago since it had happened last. Windsage stretched and sniffed the air. Even though the wind was at his back, he could feel the scent of many different species, the orchard was near... Maybe there would be someone there skilled in the crafts he needed, maybe not. Maybe someone to talk to, or just play for a while. He needed a vacation anyway. Too bad it would have to be a short one... He halted at the edge of the clearing, the wind sweeping his long, two-toned mane out of his eyes. It was a grey, wet autumn day, when the scents of the earth were strong in the forest. The stallion paused to take in the scene. Image: www.angelfire.com/poetry/lindaslya/dal/d268.gifStats etc: www.angelfire.com/poetry/lindaslya/dal/Drigius.html

...the face of the Earth... I'm very sorry - right now I am drowing in rl-stuff (for uni, mostly).
If I have won some draw or breeding the past two weeks chances are I haven't seen it.
I Know I have some critters I'm supposed to page - if I am delayed with yours - feel free to give it on to someone else. I'd be really happy if you'd tell me about it, so that I don't start paging him/her.
Sorry again - and take care all!
