The new one is GREAT! The first one looks a bit flat, this one is brilliant. I love the wings, especially :0) And his general fluffiness

Courage to the people! (And carpe diem, of course! :0) Last year I promised myself to take every chance to have fun - that was a good one :0)

Custom Name: Lady L Email: linda@mail2rose.com Website: www.angelfire.com/poetry/lindaslya/dal/Paintedr.htmlDescription: Hard, hm? wow, this is fun! A male, four-legged dragon. paws like a lion and (if it doesn't look stupied) lion ears. Antlers. He is blue with green and amber eyes, long neck, dragon (snakeish) head, fangs, long tail with a tuft, spikes along the spine, membraned wings (like a bat, but with spikes) - but I'm thinking he has sort of a shadow magic, or shadow element, so over his ordinary wings he has another, much larger pair made of dark shadow - maybe the rest of his shadow shielding his body like armour (or if that's too hard ) towering above him. A few scars and some jewelry, maybe a bracelet and a pair of rings (like earrings) in one wing Comments: Thanks for the chance :0)

That's great! :0) It was a really fun theme to write on too :0) (Now when I look at the poem, i see one could add "is" in the end, to make it look like a nicer shape
I soar I soar in darkness and the wind is remembrance and painful shards of light. Still, I'm bound, unmoving, With bell and hood around my neck. Do not come near me, my pain will then be yours. In red flow across my claws I strike with eloquence, with strength in darkness. The darkness is and is and though you cut my chains and speak to me the hood is there. And my desire, blood, is blood is
but it doesn't sound as well - you may do as you please :0)
Hmmm... let's see - I would like to have one of your unnamed crits in exchange - they are supremely cute :0)
I would like one with a big fluffy tail and wings. Colours green and bronze (and maybe some other colour, too, if you want :0) Do you do jewelry? I'd like him/her (surprise me) to have maybe an earring or two :0) I really like their patterning - but if possible I'd like him/her to also have like a ridge with markings along the back (spots, or something like that) - like some dogs and horses have, you know :0)
That's good enough?

So you don't want me to rewrite it at all?

All right - so a first draft (really first draft - come back to me with comments - I can start over, too, if you don't like this at all :0) I soar I soar in darkness and the wind is remembrance and painful shards of light. Still, I'm bound, unmoving, With bell and hood around my neck. Do not come near me, my pain will then be yours. In red flow across my claws I strike with eloquence, with strength in darkness. The darkness is and is and though you cut my chains and speak to me the hood is there. And my desire, blood, is blood
What do you think? (Anyone else want to C and C, feel free :0)

Oh, I didn't think anyone would be interested! I'm glad you all liked my idea and I would love to do a trade with all of you! (I can't promise exactly how long it will take me to be finished, though - but I don't mind if you take time on your part either :0) It might even be better if you give me the info in advance so that I can think about it. What I would like to know is: Name: E-mail: (So that I can give you a first draft - if you don't want me to PM it) Theme/Content: Mood: How long: English/Swedish: (for the off chance anyone would prefer Swedish :0) Prose, poetry or either (I choose): Anything else: What you would be willing to trade with: (We can discuss that part later, too :0) Anybody else interested, just post or drop me a note. If you don't have time right now, feel free to talk to me about it later - either by pm or posting here :0) (Or e-mail linda @ mail2rose.com) Selena - I have never written lyrics, I could try, though - but I'm not sure it would be any good.
