yeah, i'm tired of tripod :P i tried ordering my own domain but i got...ripped off, so i'm not too interested in trying again, i think if i lose another $40 my mom is gonna slap me senseless heh. but i do want to move my shatterstars website to another server, mainly because i just HATE tripod's freaking ads! i dont mind pop ups, but the adds ON the pages are killing me, especially since my new layout cant have those in it. so if anyone knows of a good free place, with no adds like that and a good amout of space, please let me know? thanks <3

Geocities doesn't have popups at the top of the page, so that might be okay.
Angelfire has them automatically embedded in the page, so no go there. Definitely not Crosswinds after all the troubles they've given people.
Perhaps 50megs.com?
As for a domain, hostway.com has them for $7 a year.

I have a friend that has a few different site plans, you buy your own domain name, and depending on what you want, i can get a price for you, I've got two prices off the top of my head, $10 a month for 1GB and 200 MB, or $15 a month for 3GB and 600 MB. Don't ask me what it means, I honesstly don't know, I just know it's a lot for a small price. But again you'd have to purchase te domain name.

if you decide to go with a domain again, definitely try Sorayume. ^^ That's who I go through and it's fabulous and /CHEAP/! ^^ hehe. |

My site's on www.esosoft.com, so far so good. I've had my site with them a year or so, unlimited(!) bandwidth and a nice piece (200MB) of space. ^_^ If you want it you'd have to get your custom domain name from somewhere like godaddy like I had to, but that shouldn't be to hard right? Esosoft is only $8.95 a month too. ^.^ It should be worth a look as an option at least. |

I have my domain, which I share with now two people - Lainie and Jess Dragontamer - at www.fuitadnet.com. Cheap and easy, and their techs are REALLY NICE. They like....treat you like an ACTUAL PERSON. I have the bronze package and it easily supports our needs. ^^;; |
