www.geocities.com/gold_cat2000/asrire/to_be_adopted/You have Asrire to be picked up at the above adress. Lumi and Saturnalia, you can pick a name for your Asrire. I imagine you've adopted enough Asrire by now to identify the gender. *chuckle* Sunblind, your stallion is named Bloody Bones. *chuckle* He's also got a few notes with him as well, so check your PM! As I mentioned before, please get them up by Nov. 3rd and get the URL to me somehow. Thanks to everyone who entered, time permitting I'll have another availability soon.

*bounces* Yes, me too! ^_^ I got most of the series except for the newest and one of the older ones I missed somehow the last time I went shopping for them. hehe *rubs hands* Can't wait for christmas or my birthday as I usually get a gift card for Barns'n'Noble. ;D
Which book is your favorite? ^^

Hmm, hard to pick a favorite. I like the first three better than the next three. She starts agonizing too much about whether to pick Richard or Jean-Claude. I just wanted to smack her and tell her to pick both! ;)
And of course, she does eventually pick one (leaving out spoilers here for anyone peeking in, ::smirks::) so I'll have to see how that turns out.
There's another similar series by Charlaine Harris. Its a lot like the Anita Blake series, though not as good in comparison. But a good read on its own. I've read the first two, the third is sitting on my floor waiting its turn ^.^

*chuckles* Oh yes indeed she agonises ever too much, but the last couple of books she stops that. *s*
hehehehe yush indeed but it doesn't end there. What is the last book of that series you have read?
OOh, I shall have to give those a look! :D What are the titles of the series?

The last one I read was....(pulls a senior moment)...the one after Bloody Bones, where Richard has to fight for dominance of the pack. Club something? Funny, its the only one whose name I can't recall ^.^
I don't know what the other series is officially called (Dead in Dixie perhaps), but the three books I know of is Dead Until Dark, Living Dead in Dallas and Club Dead. Maybe its the Sookie Stackhouse series? Sookie is the Anita equivalent with Bill being the main vampire squeeze. Know that Sookie doesn't do much agonizing, she just gets right down to it from the start *g*

The Killing Dance. ^^ Hehe you still got Burnt Offerings, Blue Moon, Obsidian Butterfly, Narcissus in Chains, Cerculean Sins, and the last, and latest is Incubus Dreams to read. I haven't read the last two yet, but the other four are very good reads. ^^
Interesting...thanks I'll look for those titles when I next get to a bookstore. ^.^ hehe Yay for Sookie..*lol* what a name. XD
Oh I looked up the name of the series. ^^ Southern Vampire Mysteries.

Yes! That was the name. And thanks for letting me know about the new one. I cancelled my membership with the Science Fiction Book Club to catch up on the ones I already bought. It was good for keeping me up to date on all the new releases ^.^

^.^ Your welcome. Hehe I should sign up for that...I could use some new books and keeping upto date would be great. :D
*chuckles* Have you also read the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice? I've read most of them, but not all. ^^ I think Lestat and Queen of the Da*ed are my favorites.

I've read the first Rice book, I've been worried about reading the others since that first one is so amazing but I've heard they get worse and worse as you go along so I didn't want to ruin my impression of greatness *g*
Hmm, P.N. Elrod is another great vampire author. And the Vampire Diaries are good even though they are Young Adult.

Hmmm...well I liked them all. I suppose they're not as good as the first but they're still good, interesting and entertaining reads. I finished most of them in one day or two. I don't know..I don't spend alot of time comparing books. The other books would have to be really bad for me to not enjoy them as much as the first. *g*
It's like that for most series...the first book sets a high standard and the authors have a hard time keeping it going through them all, but they try. The rarer series are the ones that get better and better as they go.
I think I've heard of the Vampire Diaries...haven't come across them though. What are they about?
Have you read any of the Sword of Truth saga by Terry Goodkind? I abolutely Loove them. Thats a series that gets better and better as it goes. ^.^
