I just want to warn everyone about a new spy bot. When you get a message that someone is trying to hack into your computer and click to fix the problem, they will ask you to download a program called "Spy Doctor" DON"T DO IT! This program will add a spy bot to your computer. It just happened to me a few hours ago, and it is taking forever to fix the problem. It looks like areputable company, but it isn't. I strongly suggest you download "Spy Bot Search and Destroy" if you don't already have one.

Since this has happened, I don't know how often I will be able to access the internet, so if I disappear for a bit, that is why.

Another Adware/Spyware removal software is AdAware. Its actually good to have both since SpyBot and AdAware don't cover exactly the same things.

Actually, unless the pop up is coming from something like your firewall or antivirus software, its probably best just to ignore those kinds of pop-ups and not download whatever they're offering. *g*
