The lathrin are a result of billions of years of evolution, and have four basic areas; land, sea, air, earth (internal, such as caves and tunnels). No two areas can live together, and every pod that exists has a reigning couple; YOU MUST HAVE THIS COUPLE FIRST. If others, such as the marketers, were to be assembled before the lord and lady, there would be wonderful trouble. The lord rules under the lady, and beneath him are the members of the council. These members are three males and two females who oversee their reigning couple’s affairs. Food, visiting pods, new born lathrin, and the marketers are all matters that take their constant attention, so they need the council to help oversee things; more than one couple has been known to forget something such as a troop of reapers that needs to be met. Under the council is the marketers (yes, I finally got to them) and they’re in charge of all buying and selling of food; after the lord and lady approve, and deem their asking rate reasonable. Any new marketer must pass this inspection before business can begin. Under them are the reapers, those who gather the food and crops that these creatures consume. Their post often keeps them away for great periods of time, as they must first find an area large enough to feed off of, then tend to it as needed until they can reap the crop. Because of how often the lathrin need to eat, and because of how quickly the plants (whatever they may be) are forced to grow, these sights are forced to be abandoned after so many years. When working a good site though, the reapers will often visit. It’s only during the harvest that they remain absent, and then when it’s time to transport they’re met to be instructed on the distribution of the goods at hand. Or, which marketers to give what.
The land lathrin usually do not come with wings, as they live under trees which hinder flying. Some prefer to live in more open areas so that they may run more, and these are usually desert bound. All of these, however, will have some stated means of keeping cool.
The sea lathrin all have aquatic coloring so they can easily hide in their homes. Many will have fin like crests and all of them have the necessary tails, though the style of these often mix or change.
All air lathrin have wings of course, but the special feature for these is that they often times have attributes from one of the others as well. They can be seen as a sort of cross breed of lathrin.
The earth lathrin all live in darker, cool places, most often caves. Depending on the preferences they may live in the moist, moss covered boulder areas, or those that are dryer with dangerous stalactites and stalagmites they must work around, as well as a possibility for a weak ceiling from the weight of the daggers hanging down. These two preferences can live together, though they usually have adjoining caves instead of sharing one.
Every lathrin needs to have its own space; if they feel too crowded they get short tempered and use their horns to force others back. This more often than not results in severe, and even fatal injuries. Please put no more than five lathrin to a page because of this reason.
All lathrin need to have some sort of story with them, at least two paragraphs of six sentences. It could describe the personality or simply the role, I don’t care, I just want something that gives a feel for who it is we’re looking at. Give credit to me, please; I have no site, nor do I plan on building one. This is just some idea I’ve had for a while, and I finally get a chance to try it out.
The designs on each lathrin are unique, and describe their role, their rank in that role (does this reaper work the fields all day, or does he help with the hauling of what’s needed year round? i.e. fertilizer, seeds, the method they chose to carry the plants home) Please be sure to put this information on the page with the lathrin, otherwise people won’t understand why they have those markings or accessories. They measure their lifespan by yang, and live to be several thousand yang old, though each one of those=400 human years.

Name: Must have two words, the second shorter than the first by at least three letters
ID: L003
Gender: Male
Rank: Lord
Habitat: Land
Markings: Sudden and almost harsh, this male is perfectly suited for his open and deserty preference. The markings show him as one of hard and violent judgment, though he’s more than fair if caught in the right mood. The crest along his back is used to keep the sun off and cool him and the tail and face hair to fend off insects. Strongest of most in his pod, he has a fierce pride and a noble heart, feeling the need to defend others, though the policy for lathrin is every creature for himself in battle. The mark on his leg marks him as hard and swift in battle, a deadly foe. His necklace is the symbol of the entertwining of dark and night, as the moon is at night, a gift he earned for showing mercy to one of his victims, a great lady from another pod. He's never seen without it.

Name: 3 words with the second shorter than both others than three letters, or one word with an ‘ worked in somewhere.
ID: L004
Gender: Male
Rank: Lord
Habitat: Sea
Markings: Smooth and simple, this male is kind hearted and tender to everyone he knows, even to those he doesn’t particularly like. Live and let live is his policy, and more often than not he’ll agree to disagree. He does have a streak of steel in his veins though if one of his few lines are crossed, and can prove deadly to those who threaten his pod.

Name: Needs one word, seven to ten letters
ID: L005
Gender: Female
Rank: Lady
Habitat: Land
Markings: Only slightly adorned, this female is very young and as quiet as a breeze on a fine day. Watching and learning, she soaks up her surrounding with eager eyes and chases her dreams upon the winds that blow through the trees of her preferred land. The mark on her leg shows her as at odds, both playful as a child and serious as an adult as the occasion calls for. Having come to her post as such a young age, she’s quickly growing up, though she fights to keep her laughter.
