defenders.spacely.com/alerts/alertsmain.cfm?alertID=23&orgid=05CSAWEthe board of game in alaska just voted to up the numbef of wovles hunted this year to 900 from 150. its not even actual hunting, its chasing them down in planes or helicoptors or even SNOWmobiles and then shooting them when the wolf is too tired to run anymore. please help any way you can to stop this. there's a video too, of the wolves being hunted, but i won't post that here.

That's horrible. I just sent that to my parents, requesting a family dontation. I've loved wolves dearly ever since 2ed or 3ed grade. I have bad news also. There is a small woods behind our house and many others. Cardamone Builders bought it. They have lots for sale. That means someone could buy it and nock down all the trees.

Frank Murkowski is on my "Extremely Stupid Authority Figures" list. He's at the top. George Bush is second. Whee.
I hope that one day he gets a brain and realizes that he's been a stupid twit to be going around and letting people murder everything they please. He might as well let people legally hunt humans for population controls. No difference, only that humans are the only real species with population problems..

thanks for the help; its really awful. not only that they shoot them from planes, but that they can shoot and hunt wolf pups as well.

I swear the Murkowskis run this state like it's their own kingdom, I can't wait until they either all die or kicked out of office. >_>
He makes me ashamed to call myself an Alaskan, I don't really like living in the same state as him. And trust me - Lisa Murkowski is even worse.
We're on a tight budget, but I'll see what I can do. At the very least I can spread the word.
