"Yes, rather lovely," Mageshifter says, "Can't say I've really taken time to...get a closer look."

Mageshifter looks back, and blinks a bit. Was Mothwing looking at him?

[sera]

Speckledsnow gave a small gentle chuckle, not noticing the small interchange of looks between the other K'd, as she's glancing upwards at a bird passing overhead. "Full of life at least. It is very peaceful here."

Seeing Mageshifter looking back at her, Mothwing flushes, swiftly ducking her head and looking away again.

[Myrror]

"That is true," Mageshifter says, though his own ears droop a bit. He look away as well, back into the sky. "There's nothing...dangerous out here, is there?"

[sera]

Speckledsnow tilts her head as she thinks over what she'd been told earlier. "I don't believe there's anything inherently dangerous here," she finally replies. "But the area is hardly secured against dangerous things coming here. I think." She ^^;'s slightly as the continue to follow the buck.

[Myrror]

"Ah....that's what I thought," Mageshifter says, "I suppose if we DO come across something...not so nice, we'll just have to...deal with it."

The buck's ears go back at the thought. He might be skittish around 'other' K'ds, but if something larger came along...

[sera]

Speckledsnow shuddered slightly. "I rather hope we don't," she said faintly. "I don't think either Mothwing or myself could do much in the way of defending ourselves."

[Myrror]

"Well, it'll have to get by me first," Mageshifter says...perhaps not realizing how he sounded. ^^;

[Heather]

Speckledsnow perked up her ears slightly, drawing her head back slightly as she tried to decide if asking wot that meant was being too nosy. That was taken out of her care, however, when Mothwing softly asked, "Wot do you mean?"

The white K'd looked down at her realmmate in surprise, the gaze traveling up to Mageshifter to see how he took the question.

[Myrror]

Mageshifter blinked, as if realizing just what he said. "I meant...I can take care of myself, if need be. If something big somes along, I'll...scare it away. Or burn it."

Burn it? ^.^:;

[sera]

"Burn it?" this time Speckledsnow couldn't keep the question in, though she flushed immediately upon asking it. Mothwing watched on with interest in her shy gaze.

[Myrror]

This time Mageshifter winced, and looked at the two does, "Erm, well...I can create fireballs...."

[sera]

"Wow," Mothwing mouthed faintly as Speckledsnow said, "Really? That's amazing! How is that possible?" Again, she belatedly realizes that she's prying and she flushes. "I'm sorry. . . it's just. . . " She send him an apologetic look.

Mothwing, however, is watching him steadily though her head is still slightly ducked. She evidently wants an answer to the question.

"I...was once with the Mages...before Dark found me and took me home with her," Mageshifter said, his ears drooping.

There, he said it. Or somewhat said it.

Speckledsnow looks away, embarrassed by their prying. Something, however, seems to have gotten into the shy and frightened Mothwing as she stares up at the buck with large eyes. "With the mages?" Her soft voice asks. Perhaps she's not willing to let Mageshifter get by without telling his story. ^^;;;
