He was tempted... he could not deny it. Desperately he wanted to clamp his teeth into the flesh that was for the moment only carefully held. Almost frantically he wanted to bite deeply and wrench his head about to snap the bone beneath his tongue and beyond the hide. He salivated that much more, the fluid dripping down the neck of the one who'd fallen still. Finally though jaws part, the captive released to fall out of his maw and into the sands. For the sake of his own composure does the nuetrally-toned feoraptor take several steps away from the fallen prey... fallen, but not given the mercy of oblivion. Whip-like tail gives a lash, figure stalking in circles about the gathering of slaves if for no other reason than to seek after his somewhat renowned ever-present calm. Twas rare indeed that this one fell into his more base instincts, and he thought it a poor show of his ability to the Mistress. No point in making his distress a vocal thing... she'd take fiendish joy in tormenting him for it. And regardless of their ability to run together under the Mistress' command, the others would hardly hold back their own jibes.

Only when Hider was down did Vengeance reveal herself. She stepped slowly over to the bodys commanding without words from mouth or mind for them to step aside as she approached the fallen body. At first all she did was blink a bit, no expression on her face, as she observed the blacked out body. Scars, bite marks, slashes littered the male feoraptors body, and she was pleased. "Perfect..." She said with a hiss, and stepped back a bit. She put her horn to the males chest and sent a serge of electricity to his chest, it should bring him to, but then again Vengeance's weakness was in revival. Who wanted to know how to revive when all on their mind was death?

Hider felt the jolt rush through his body, surging to every corner of every muscle. He groaned and wearily tried to move, but the pain was too immense. He barely had the strength to open his eyes, only suceeding in pushing them open slightly and remembering what had happened. His eyes closed again, yet he cringed, hoping they didn't feel like hurting him more. He opened his eyes again, seeing Vengance. Oh no, this is it. he thought to himself, knowing the end was near. He thought silently to himself, but nothing came, only sorrow, pain, and regret.
Mark stood aside as Vengance came through her hoard of slaves. She really was a cruel and spiteful leader, and he admired her for it. But every time he saw her, he had to push that one memory back into the deepest corners of his head, where he could forget it forever, where she would never find it, and where it would stay for the rest of his life. He saw Hider stirring, and for a second was relieve that he was alive. If they had killed him, Vengance would definetly have something to say about it. He watched as she looked him over, and he cringed, as if it were all a dream. Laughing to himself, he thought, "No, your nightmare is only beginning..."

Dismay continues restlessly his circling, that circle widening without so much as a thought to include Vengeance. Eyes meanwhile turn outward, attentions for the most part upon the surroundings of the group. If he couldn't be sensible enough to stay at the heel of his Mistress, he could at least put his senses to her defense. Like all the others, he had his reasons for joining her mob. Also like them, he had things that he'd rather she not detect within his mind. Due to the relative calm he tended to keep though, there was little there to draw her interest. With each circle his upset became less and less... and soon enough he would be little more but an observer again.

"Get up" she said gruffly to the exsausted body infront of her. She pushed him a bit with a foot willing him further to get up. This might seem rather generous to those around her, maybe even to Hider himself, but she had a plan...and he needed to be able to walk. "GET UP!" She yelled impaitently, snarlling slightly, "Get up or I'll kill you...". Her tail lashed back and forth agressivly, her demon eyes baring into Hider's mind. He was scared, and though she was anxious for him to do her bidding and fustrated with his slowness her lips cracked into a smile. "I have a job for you if you wish to live." she adds.

Problem's Realization started to lose all of his fear with the help o Danger's Strike and he found out that he was actually a realy good fighter which he had always thought he was a wimp and was a little pip squeak.Strike had taought him how to fight better and some tricky moves that worked every time no matter how stroneg the enemy was..well if it were a feoraptor. But Danger's Strike could only teach him what she knew and that wasnt enough to make him the best fighter in the world no when it probaly came to a demon he couldnt even put him or her down on the floor he probaly could only hit a few times then hed be dead but this was only if he fought alone.Realization did conquer his fear though and now he was a better person he found out more stuff about himself like his personality than he ever knew.He had a great sense of humor he liked to play around alot he also loved to hum alot which drove Strike crazy but she managed to keep it hidden because she not only loved him but he was to be the futer dad of her children. They were the only feoraptors in their shreik there fore she had no choice to choose unless there were another male to join....................

Hider blinked, and slowly got up. His pain was still searing through his body at every movement that he made, but he was willing to do it for his life. He did not care what the job was the Vengance had planned, his life depended on it, so he planned to do it. He slowly got up, wobbling a bit, but held his ground. He bit his lip at the effort it took, but he looked Vengance in her searing, evil eyes, wondering what was yet to come.
Mark watched as Vengance kicked Hider to make him get up. That feoraptor has strength he noted to himself, watching the effort it took him to get off the ground. He heard Vengance say something about a job she wanted done.. He was confused, he didn't remember any job needing to be done. Why couldn't she just ask one of her slaves to do it? He pondered these questions, and watched Vengance's next move...

Lullaby watched, a bit curious as to what would happen next. Vengeance never took interest unless it was for her own gain, or in somebody else's pain. The pain was over, so... What could this pitiful creature possibly have that Vengeance would want? Then again... traumatic events such as these had a way of changing the poor souls they were inflicted upon. Hider might never be the kind, timid thing he once was ever again. This process of getting up proved that, beneath his fear, he had a sort of desperate determination. Lullaby liked that, even though it was found in an enemy... Perhaps Vengeance wanted another slave. Or to keep him as a 'pet' for future atrocities. He didn't think too much beyond that; it wasn't his place to ponder the mind of his Mistress. He sighed, shifted from one leg to the other, wing flapping lazily, and changed the subject of his thinking pattern. His mind immediatley fell upon his unknown past. All the others had pasts, horrid though they were. Why shouldn't he? He felt as a child did, watching other, luckier children going nuts in a candy store. When pressed to remember, the only thing he mind spat back out to him was Vengeance, some wonderful gift she gave him, and then... something bad. He shook it off. How could anything connected to Vengeance possibly be bad? (A naive question, but then again, he admired her) No, it was probably just an accident... amnesia or something. A rock fell and hit his head, yeah, that was it. ((-_- I'm probably going to have him disobey sometime in the future so's I can write about him remembering and everything. -_- Not yet, though. ))

Loveless looked at the fallen feoraptor get up listening to Vengeance and he blinked just watching. This feoraptor remembered everything of his past of what Vengeance had done though he kept it out of his mind at his own choice. He glanced over at Vengeance then back at Hinder with a slight smirk. He had taken a step back when Vengeance had first stepped out. Loveless had no question of the matter of what she was going to do with Hinder since it wasn't his place to know.
Determination looked over at his Mistress and took a few steps back getting out of her way. His tail slightly twitched from side to side as he watched everything with hopeless eyes, he really never thought about anything at all, because it all seemed so hopeless to him to think of anything about Vengeance and what she was planning.

Hider looked hatefully into the eyes of his onlookers. They all stared at him, their eyes all looking differently. Some looked distant, as if they had no idea what was going on. Others looked on evily, watching their master to see what she would do to him. He looked her in her evil, red eye, and slowly picked his head up. He would not be beaten. The pain still roared it's laughing mockery into his heart, but he tamed it back, and watched the feoraptors around him. He had been naive to think all feoraptors were good. He had heard stories of Vengance and her slaves when he was littler. All of the older feoraptors would threaten the little ones with stories of Vengance, "Don't disobey your parents, or Vengance will come after you at night! She likes to eat little feoraptors." Hider had always looked upon their stories as made-up. He had known Vengance existed, but never really thought of her during his life, until he saw her in the cave. At first, he hadn't believed it was her, until he saw her evil eyes. Then he thought, maybe she isn't as bad as they say she is! How wrong he was.
Mark looked at the other feoraptors, wondering if they had pasts. Well, of course they all had a past, but did they remember? Was he the only one who remembered the times before Vengance? He wondered about these things, and then wondered.. did Vengance have a past? Was she ever good?
((And the plot thickens... ;D))
