Flare's Galaxy looked up at the sky checking to see if it was becomeing dark once more and ...no it wasnt it was far away from now.Flare ran down the small mountain if he wernt such a skilled runner he would have tripped and fell because of the speed he was going. At the end of the moutain there was a lake that Flare stopped at and took time to drink.Flare layed down to rest under the mountains shade before returning to the hot summer sun.

It was beyond the mountains and deep into the grasslands that this beastie prowled. A female, young and aspiring to create a shriek of her own regardless of the bullying involved. Hide was laced with a network of scars, the origonal color something of a dirty sandy hue. It was very possible indeed that a great amount of said sand had been scraped deeply into her hide during combat. Even lengthy ears were tattered here and there, these framing either side of her skull, and once-bitten muzzle protruding forward. Most visibly remarkable about the female were her eyes, an intense and hateful gold. She was oddly silent in her endeavor, but then again talk was for those too weak to fight. The only thing audible about her as she made her way through the sparse grasses was the rustle of the vegetation, and a sort of grinding of earth as her talons churned through the turf. A nasty one, this. She didn't need to be reasonable. And she knew what she was after, and she'd have it.

Ego's Nonexistence wandered along, wanting to find somewhere where she could acctually fit in. She was always depressed, and just wanted to feel like she belonged. She did not have any intention to be an alpha female.. but she did want to join a Shreik very badly.. trying to find anything remotly interesting in her boring and rundown desert, and walked along quietly...

Stalker's Prowl slunk along, in search of water. And where there was water, there would be other Feoraptors. She smelled it, the water, and she moved quickly toward it, making nary a sound as she walked. Aha! In the distance, she could see two of her kind- a female and a male, from the looks of it. And- one more approaching! She instinctively turned away from the sandy-colored one, and walked to the waters edge, waiting. Waiting for what, or for whom, she couldn't say.

Whilst certainly unattractive, Gladiator's Model is no fool. She may not be smart, but she was wise... and wisdom was based in instinct. Lucky that- it being her strong point. The scent of water attracts many a creature, giving the potential both for prey and for finding peers to claim into her shriek. Orientation shifts, and it's towards that not quite so distant scent of water that she heads now. She's a hearty beast, and while her lope wasn't particularly fast, it was one that she could keep up for a good hour at the least with her stubborn stamina.

Ego's Nonexistence smelled water in the distance. Going towards the smell, another waft of smells filled her yearning nostrils. Two.. wait no.. three other Feoraptors! Ego's Nonexistence was very shy.. and had no want to get into a fight with any others. She quietly set out for another part of the stream, in hoping that she wouldn't be seen.. Meanwhile.. another Feoraptor by the name of Fragile's Rock wandered among the sandy hills. His almost diminished sight and hearing makes him the cautious type. He wanders around for a while before smelling water, along with some others. He does not want to get into a fight.. but his need for water drives him towards the smell...

Flare's Galaxy smelled three females near him and looked around and noticed a male."Well this will be interesting with the most females around me i have ever seen but it wouldlve been better with out the male but we may becaome friends."Flare looked at the more rough tough looking female and raised a brow noticing she wasnt up for anything,,Flare then looked at the other female noticing she was largly attractive and could be looking to start a shreik with him and maybe mate, the next female was mad looking and mayb e would want to join then he looked towards the male and noticed he was handsome and would maybe be in his shreik.Flare called to Danger knowing she was nearby. Danger's strike heard Flare's call and ran up the mountain she had left him at and noticed three females and a rather handsome male."Hmmm what is going on here?"Danger ran down the hill allmost tripping she noticed flare mustve ran down the hill but she wasnt as a good runner when it came to down hill."What is going on here Flare? And who is that most attractive male and many females doing?"Danger left flare before he could answer andwalked towards ego's nonexistence and fragile's rock."I am Dangers Strike what is going on?"Danger was directing her question towards the male but still payed attention to the female by her.Danger looked over at the other rough looking females and sneered thinking they wanted an fight and held her place a few feet back from the male and female she was talking to

Another grey Feorapter slunk up to the watering hole, tailed by a blue Feo who was obviously only moments away from dropping down into the sand and giving up. "Just another little bit," she encouraged the other, and then scampered ahead. She stopped by the water's edge, and stared out at the others- There were eight of them now, including herself and Rain's Company. Blur's Dream just stood there- waiting to see what would happen, who these Feorapters were, where she stood with them. Rain's Company finally made it to the water, and took a deep drink before turning around and following Ego's Nonexistance as she headed for a more secluded area. He didn't know why, but she seemed like a kindred soul. Besides, she was going to the only place it seemed like he could stay away from the others and still be near the water.

Comes in whuffling, her tail lifted haughtily behind as she inhales deeply, expelling the breath in a scree of challenge. She was very feral in behavior, and found it far easier to read body language and to understand those little chirps and hisses accosiated with daily interaction than to interpret words, which were easily falsified. Her one vocalization would make it clear to each and every female present. She challenged them, one and all, to the right to make her shriek. She expected challengers, and was eager to recieve them.

Stalker's Prowl issued her responding call from across the water. How DARE she! But then again, she thought as her scream faded off, she didn't have any males to protect yet. But, still, how dare she! She stood there, across the water, poised to strike, but not able to reach her opponent, and yet not willing to compromise her position and move towards the other female.

Borealis's Spectrum walked slowly along the river's bank, thinking and expecting nothing in particular. What she got, however... was quite different. Two females challenging, several trying (vainly) to vacate the challenge area... general flostam all about. She gives a little snort, lifting her head for the first time that day. Here she had been, just walking along, trying to enjoy the depression in her life, when all up of a sudden this happens. Now she'd never get back to that peaceful sorrow she had had but a few minutes earlier! Her brows twitch a bit, trying to remember how to show emotion, and... ah, there. Her eyes sharpened into an angry glare. Why, she ought to... ought to... Oh, never mind. She slumps again as manic depression retakes its hold on her, leaving no room for anything but self-pity. She swims across the river with a vacant expression on her face, drags herself to the place where the non-combatants stood... and took a seat, ignoring the males completely, although they might notice her. She was a very beautiful female, really... if only she'd just smile.

Danger looked at the two females that were ready to fight her over the two males.Apparently they thought her and Flare had a connection and well they did they were like brother and sister they looked out for eachother wich was unusual for feos but they stayed together in a family love nothing closer and they probaly think different.Danger looked the rough looking one that had a brown coat and stared her in the eyes straight and waited for her to fight her first letting her know she qould only fight the rough one if she attacked her first or Flare and Flare would be helpless because he would melt and not hurt her its very rude for a male to hit a female. Then she looked at the other giving her the same idea. Flare's Galaxy looked at the females and was confused in the tought of wich one he was going to choose.'maybe the rough one...no no she might hurt me no the grey one no she looks rough to .....what about the pretty tiger one.....no both of the rough females would hurt me still for picking her.....well i let them come to me.'Flare looked up at the sky and made a mating call.Flare looked down and started talking loud so all could here."Im seeking to make a shreik!"

((OOC: Males CANNOT form shrieks- it's the females who are in charge here. And I'm having too much fun with this post for my own good.)) Stalker's Prowl ignored the male. Who gave him the idea that he could claim anything? A male's place was to be owned by a female- It might be a little bit of an old-fashioned idea, but was still her rule. A male should be elegant and plesent, nice to talk to, and able to hunt, but never step out of bounds, and be content to play second fiddle to his female, the main force behind the shriek, such as herself. He looked like he was trying to choose- silly thing, he didn't get choose, let the females make all the choices, let them bring home the food, let them deal with the other shrieks, you just stick by your girl and let her do everything for you. "MINE!" she hissed, indicateing the male closest to her- in this instance, Fragile's Rock. ((OOC: If you don't want to be fought over, just say so and I'll work you back out of the plot o' DOOM!))

Gladiator was not so much the swimmer unfortunately. She'd never admit such a thing, but with the darker female so much closer it would be far easier to settle that fight first. The blood that rushed through her veins was warmed not only by the sun, but by her own lust for fighting. Truly she'd not produce such body heat on emotion alone, but rather as she ran through, flexing various muscles to assure none were taxed or over-sore. She'll glance to the one who so energetically gave first responce, shrilling a reply along the lines of a taunt. Something of a 'come if you want it'. She would prefer of course to honor the first reply, but if this dark female came at her first.... she would return the favor of her attentions. If nothing else she trusted in the common honor of the other females.... that one would not interrupt her dominance fight with another. Following her scree she'd assume a threat display for the grey one, tail whiping about before lifting, and her fore lowered until chin hovered just above the dirt. With her ears folded and lips pulled into a snarl... it was a fair copy of the threats used by herd-masters of the equines. Were that other strong one able to swim... she just might have the match she desired. "Mine!" she replied, countering the other's claim to lure her still into the fight.

Ego's Nonexistence just stood in the middle of the squabble, not wanting to get into a fight. She stayed out of the way of all the oncoming females, but within earshot to see if any shreiks would be formed.. Fragile's Rock, not being able to see or hear well was very overwhelmed. He just stood his ground, until he noticed two particulary attractive females hiss mine. He was startled.. because he could barely make it out... but asked semi-politly, "What do you mean?" (I know females claim.. don't worry.. but he's just a little slow with his hard hearing ;D)
