Angelus' addiction to her softness was one thing Vendsha enjoyed very much about their relationship. She got all the possible petting and affection any female could need and want from their mate. Possibly even more. And it was soothing for him, rather like it was for their son. When she had a little girl she would be sure to teach her that softness was alot more powerful than most would think.
Vendsha chuckles finally noticing through her thick fur that Angelus was quite damp, she looks over his wings to see if they needed grooming, but they were already smoothed. Pleased she answers Mozer's question, "Well, each tsume is different from another and there are many many types. Each type has common traits of body and mind, however no two of any element will be exactly the same. Not all Ethereals lack limbs or have pink eyes like I do, but we all can phrase through things and cannot be harmed usually. While Angelus is an example of how a Pain generally looks, he is exceptional in his intelligence and control." The Ethereal pauses a moment, "His is a type you should avoid as he would easily tell you." she smiles up at Angelus.

Minni was still unable to respond, but Friga wasn't shocked to silence any more... "'Unsuitable company'? You Attack us n now you're upset with Us for takin tha hint ta leave?? We're supposta trust ya now is tha it? Oh ya just wanted ta have us As dinner but hey no hard feelin's." She almost took a step forward but Minni latched on to her preventing her. "Nutters... Stark ravin nutters." Her voice was hoarse from the effort to keep it to a whisper. Her eyes switched from this one to the others. Minni just stared at the lot though her shaking seemed to be subsiding finally.

Jaradka looked at the pair, and immediatly turned back to Casimir. She still couldn't understand them and now they were being even more confusing! But she just wouldn't listen... They must be crazy and that is why they spoke strange and acted strange. That made sense. She didn't need to understand them because what they were saying did not make sense to anyone, possibly even themselves... "Jaradka will not do it again... Not orthidox prey just confuse Jaradka..." she explains to Casimir, before rubbing her head against his once more... She was going to wait till he said it was ok for her to go and talk to them again... Because he was better with people, atleast in her mind.
Angelus grinned wickedly and nodded at Vendsha's comment of pains being one of the creatures to avoid if at all possible. For a moment it seemed like he was sizing up mozer, then he let a rather evil chuckle escape his mouth. "I have not always been so, if you had met me a couple years ago I most likely would have tortured you to death, and not have felt bad about it... It is unfortunate, but most pains are like what I was once." He chuckled a few more times before his tone and features lightened once more, And Mozer could probably tell by his tone that it would not be too far fetched that he could probably still torture someone to death, only he might feel bad about it.
Angelus did wonder how the others were doing with the tsumes that had begun to approach, but didn't go over there, prefering to stay with Vendsha while they talked to Mozer.

Mozer filed the information about tsumes, Ethereals, and Pains away, more things to report to the group waiting back at Dor'shia, and quite a bit that needed to be known so they didn't lose one of their number to a Pain. "Well, it's relieving to know we've managed to find the exception rather than the rule," the Dark replied easily. Even without the warning, it hadn't really been far from realization that Angelus could torture someone even unto death. "Angelus has also given us a brief list of certain Types to avoid anyway, most, if not all," he gave a swift questioning glance to Angelus, not certain if the ones he'd listed earlier -were- all Evil types, though it made sense if they were. "Falling in the Evil type, I believe. Is it simple to tell one type from the next?" Gryverns knew rather instinctively wot Type any other gryvern was, though colouration and temperament were used in case there was any question. With the tsume, however, there were so very many different Types, he wasn't yet certain how to advise his kind to avoid the bad ones.
Astafy's eyes widened slightly and curved fin ears flattened at the bald insults coming from the tsume. "Why, I never!" she muttered, then lit right back into them. "You blame -us- for -your- squabbling? It's a wonder you've never been separated before! Jaradka hardly pushed you, I wouldn't call that an attack! You should have seen how she first treated us! It we had wanted to have you for dinner, and by all that's bright I don't even know why we WOULD want to, you would already be gone, besides which we already have food right there!" She gestured, rather dramatically, to the only partially eaten deer-like carcass. "I doubt either of you are a match for -me- and I'm only a Healer, much less Casimir or Jaradka. If she was going to kill you, she would have while you were still fighting!"
Casimir blinked in surprise at Astafy's tirade, surprised and uncertain about wot exactly had set her off. He cleared his throat softly and uneasily, brushing the side of one of his horns carefully along Jaradka's neck. "They confused me as well," he told her softly. "And I think we'd better wait until Astafy calms down before we go closer again."

Friga puffed up ready to growl back at the creature but Minni clamped a wing over the feisty tsume's mouth. Finally the big Aurora spoke though she felt a little off kilter... kind of groggy... "We weren't 'squabbling'. I saw that one starting to sneak up on us and was trying to protect my friend from being eaten or at least maimed. As to whether you could take us or not, I don't know or care if that's an accurate assumption. We came here because we were told there might be friends here and we got here to find that was far from true. We did nothing to you to deserve your attack Or your verbal onslaught. Unless of course we are intruding on your hunting territory. In which case we apologize and will leave you to your... Dinner. Again we meant no offense in coming here. We merely wandered into your territory because somebody told us we might make new friends here. Apparently they either were mistaken or we got the location wrong." She let go of Friga, who was acting suddenly unusually docile, drugged almost. Friga tottered into Minni but in a quick glance down she realized for once Friga wasn't trying to pick another fight... She really was having trouble standing up. Minni tried to catch her friend but stumbled a bit herself and was having a hard time focusing on the hostiles in front of her. Her stomach actually felt very queasy at the moment and she feared she was going to ruin what little dignity she had tried to salvage by throwing her late lunch up on this pushy one.

Jaradka leaned forward and slung her head over his back, and let it rest there as she closed her eyes, trying to ignore the ranting of the creatures near them, she could hear lots and lots of words but they were too long for her to keep track of and she didn't want to listen... "Does Casimir prey understand? Jaradka not." she said with a sigh, before closing her eyes and sighing... None of this had anything to do with hunting, and was also confusing. There was yet another visitor on a fast intercept trajectory with this group, and unfortunately for the rather large Aurora she did not seem to know how to slow down her uh... Special mode of Teleportation... Then she reached the group, and more importantly slammed into the Auroras back and bounced off, she was moving very quickly but with her size it was unlikely that anyone but her would be hurt... "Pretty lights..." Thump. she landed on the ground, hoping that they didn't accidentally trip over her before she got up... Or more importantly, Step On her. She wondered how she managed to miss all those bright colours that seemed to be dancing around her vision right now... Maybe they were caused by that pretty tsume, That'd be neat!

"Everyone's angry," Casimir summed it up succinctly. He wasn't overly pleased about the flare-up himself. His mode of 'fixing' the problem likely wouldn't be helpful as it was a rather strong-arm tactic as well. As such the Warriour simply remained by Jaradka's side as Astafy growled low in her throat at the pair.
"You're only getting a verbal assault because you began the verbal assault! Everyone else seems perfectly capable of weathering Jaradka's odd way of greeting, and I tried to introdu--" the Light gryvern was cut off by the sudden appearance, and bouncing of a tiny little tsume. This effectively cut Astafy off, as she completely forgot wot she was saying in order to stare down at the tiny creature.

The connection of the tiny tsume only served to help the big aurora slowly slump down further... Her eyes blinked repeatedly trying to focus... Even though she knew the strange creature in front of her was hostile, she couldn't care anymore... Friga was already snoring noisily against her other side... The only thing left lazily wandering through her head was that Friga was right... These creatures were completely off their rockers... And would most likely tear them limb from limb simply for being there... Minni felt her stomach heave... Whatever. She tried to shake her head but that was a very bad idea... Her eyes crossed and she clamped her mouth shut... The weird internal haze felt similar to when she caught the Tsume Flu once but more pronounced...
Her cheeks puffed out as she tried to keep from spewing the contents of her lunch all over the creature in front of her. She looked like a dawn over a landfill actually, lots of sickly shades of green and gassy. Oddly she didn't really seem to mind it as much as one might think. But a part of her mind figured that it certainly wouldn't help their cause. Oh well Was the fatalistic mental shrug. At the last she still managed to keep it in check but still managed to burp a nasty cloud of methane fumes on her smaller friend. Friga woke up suddenly with a gag.
"Jeez Minni!" Friga chuckled not at all upset now and feeling oddly well rested. She stared at the odd creature in front of them... She had a vague notion that there was some reason she really wanted to bite or at least freeze her but couldn't remember what it was now. She also notice the others. She decided that whatever reason she wasn't found of the odd creature in front of them must not be that important now. She grinned carelessly... "Hi, I dunno if I caught your name but I'm Friga. This gasy Gus is Minni."
Minni stared at Friga surprised... Sort of... She frowned trying to figure out what it was that made her belch... "Excuse please... I had something off at lunch and it seems to have backed up... a tad..." She turned a rosy shade of pink embarassed.

Jaradka heard a familiar sound, it was... Strange, "Jaradka not angry." she said in a slightly re assuring tone, before pulling herself back up and sitting on her own without leaning on him or anything... 'pretty lights'? That voice was familiar, she didn't know who it came from though. and failed to notice the small tsume lying on the ground because of the small crowd that was over there. Maybe it was one of them acting strange again.
The tiny tsume who had slammed into the Aurora just moments earlier looked around, with her head bobbing and weaving about, probably following some invisible lights or something... It was rather cute and just added to the overall effect the tsume had on the group... "Owwowow... Ooh, Hi'lo!" she said as she simply waved in a upwards direction, so that it was directed at everyone.
She attempted to get up after the greeting and wave, but just barely managed to rise, stumble a little bit and fall over again... Making some ooh and aah noises during that little charade, as if it would help her balance.

Astafy tilted her head in confusion, wondering if perhaps she'd only thought Jaradka was crazy; this one surely took the cake. Ah, well. The edge of her irritation began to dull away, and she sat back calmly. "Well, my name is Astafy. It's. . ." Well, she couldn't lie and say it was a pleasure, but it certainly was interesting. "This. . . is quite the. . . experience. Meeting the two of you." She blinked, uncertain why they'd suddenly and abruptly calmed, but she was glad they had because it helped her feel calmer and maybe now they could all talk like the reasonable creatures they were. "Back behind me is Casimir and Jaradka. We apologize for her fright earlier." She turned her green gaze to the tiny tsume, and answered with her own quiet, "Hello." How strange to see one so smally after being surrounded by ones that were so much bigger.
Casimir's ears hovered backwards uneasily. A strange lassitude was beginning to pervade the area and he fought it despite himself. Wotever it was, it wasn't natural, and he was unwilling to give over his trained wariness to it. "Do you know who that is?" he asked Jaradka of the tiny tsume floating near the other three.

Vendsha humm's abit, thoughtfully. "I suppose it is easy for tsumes to tell one from another, most of the time. However, it takes meeting different types of Tsumes to be able to reconnize them later. Colors, addictude, and over all personality tell you which type is which. When it comes to the evil types you better use your instincts, if it feels bad it's bad."
Vendsha then seems to hunch alittle bit and turns her attention to a pink wing on her back. She rather gives it an exasperated look as it was once again itching like crazy and no matter how many times she groomed it, it kept coming back. "Blood feathers.." she mutters to herself, coiling up to deftly grab the wing with a loop of her long body and drag it over to where she could attempt to preen it.
And by drag as in litterly move the whole wing from it's usual place of floatation on her back. "The itching is enough to make one wish someone would eat the silly thing..." she comments to no one in particular as she floofs the feathers out. Looking closely at the wing one could probably see lots of pin feathers and some blood feathers growing in, shaft flakes here and there. Oh the joys of growing new feathers, especially when one didn't have hands or claws.
Vendsha makes acouple attempts to carefully ease the itching and remove some of the shafts from the growing feathers, but they were just too small for teeth to be much use. Keening she lets the wing go, quite ready to go crazy from the irritation. The wing floats back to where it had been on her back. The ethereal looks up at her mate rather pleadingly for assistance.

Friga tilted her head perplexed at the strange creature in front of her and frowned... Something was not right here but for some reason she couldn't figure it out. She shrugged. Minni was feeling ill again for whatever reason and despite the feeling that things were sort of ok, she clamped her wings over her mouth again. Turning green again, she tried to let the others know she wasn't trying to run but she couldn't stay or she'd make a nasty mess. Her eyes took on a slightly pleading look just before she gave up and took flight. Friga blinked and realized her friend was taking off without her... Having no idea what was going on, she took off after the sickly Aurora... "Wait for me! Eeer, sorry guys... Bye!" She called out over her shoulder.

Angelus thought about it for a moment then shrugged, "Evil types generally come in red and black, although this is not always so... If you see any with strange runic markings on them, run away, Sin tsumes are not ones you want to deal with... They may not kill you, but may make you kill eachother, or do... Other things." He said the last bit with a slight amount of embarressment, he didn't want to name what each one did since it was kind of bad luck to mention them...
When vendsha attempted to itch her wing he grinned, He always found her little wings so pretty and well, etherial... Kind of like something in a dream, but much softer and a bit more real. When he received the pleading look he happily cupped the wing in one clawed hand, and began very carefully picking the shafts and such off that she could not manage to do herself. He was much gentler, and more precise when dealing with her... much more than one would have thought possible from the rough manner he had been doing it to himself earlier.
Jaradka looked at Casimir, and then finally managed to spot the small Yume over by Astafy, it was very little and blue... She knew a blue thing that was little, it made her feel funny, and it made her dream things... Jaradka liked those dreams, much better than the dark or lightness.. "Friend prey Yume. Yume is good friend prey, make good dreams." she said as she glanced about, she had sort of felt something strange, but Yumes little aura had very little or no effect on her since she was already happy, and peaceful.
Jaradka also watched the two depart, it was strange how that one had gotten sick all of the sudden, and how they had changed their minds about arguing or running... They were confusing, she remembered and crazy. She shouldn't listen to them because they made her hurt... And then she might hurt someone, which would make her a bad friend. So she ignored them.

When Vendsha moved the ENTIRETY of the wings to preen at them, the brindle Dark was hard-put to not gape at her. That had to be -the- coolest thing he'd seen here yet. Of course, now he wanted to experiment with the things. He very carefully kept himself sitting.
Mozer was having a grand time listening and talking to the mated pair. He tilted his head slightly at the unease in Angelus' voice, but let it pass without comment. He wouldn't press something that could be an uncomfortable topic without need. The important thing was to avoid the tsume with runes. Good enough for him. Angelus was pretty good at preening feathers, apparently, when he put his mind to it. Somehow, this, however, didn't surprise him. It was easier to be gentle with a loved one than with oneself. Or so he was given to understand. Yet again, his knowledge came from observation and wot others had told him.
"Yume?" Casimir echoed. He seemed to do that a lot. "How does she make good dreams?" Though whether Jaradka could answer that question remained to be seen.
Astafy watched the pair dash off, but her Healing would only help physical injuries. She glanced at the tiny tsume and suddenly remembered that Yume had run into Minni. She moved her nose close to the small creature, asking quietly, "Are you alright?" She was already scanning the tsume for injury.

Vendsha sighs with relief and arches against Angelus with purrs of pleasure. "MmmmmmMM" She closes her eyes and smiles. Just one more reason to spend much more time with her mate, it had been miserable without him around to help her. Course she had her son, but he just didn't have the patience yet.
She opens her eyes and notices Mozer's gaping. *chuckle* "Very convenient isn't it? If you've been wondering how anything is attached to me, it's sort of like magnets. Only if one tries to take them too far away the pull will become very strong."
