Jaradka tilted her head at the two squabling tsumes, they did not know how to speak did they? maybe they spoke a different language since she could not understand many of the things that they had exchanged in their aggrivated state. Were they enemies? Only enemies would attack eachother. That made sense. But then why would one say that it was trying to save the others hide? was it trying to save it's skin? That must not be a very nice tsume. And, they both were very bad fighters.
"Hunter Jaradka sees prey, prey. What is the prey doing?" she asked while she moved a little closer, just within her pouncing distance to them before crouching slightly, in preperation... you know, just incase she had to maul one of them or something. She did not know them and they already proved that they were atleast somewhat aggressive.
Yes... Jaradka was very perceptive.

Casimir moved up beside Jaradka, leaning very lightly against her right side. "I think they are quarreling," he observed softly, apparently unwilling to step into the fight.
Astafy came up on Jaradka's left side, though she made sure there was some distance between her and the large, green tsume. She gave a very light snort, tossing the long white forelock again before eyeing the pair. Perhaps they weren't going to be much better than Jaradka. She tilted her head curiously, then glanced over at the tsume who had led them over here. Then again, she was a testament to how frightening Jaradka looked when she stalked. "I am Astafy," she told the pair, hoping to calm them with rational discussion. "These are Jaradka and Casimir. She won't do anything without. . . cause." The gryvern seemed a bit hesitant about that last, however.

Only when Jaradka spoke did Friga raise her eyes to stare at her from her twisted semi-upside down position... And she blinked... "Wha? Prey...? What Prey??" Minni hissed down at her... "Us you Ninny!" "Wha do ya mean 'us'... We aren't Prey, we're not even Orthidox."

:ooc: Sorry, I'm on dialup and missed the reply from Sera. Thalron told me I could/should add to the post.:ooc:
Even though Minni saw the others, she still wasn't Entirely convinced of the sanity/safety of the one that had been stalking them. But she did get off Friga and help her friend up... Friga gave Minni one last glare before staring a little more cautiously at the seemingly crazed one. They both stood cautiously brushing themselves off but keeping a wary eye on the others.

Jaradka stared at them, like some sort of cat stairing at a pair of mice that rather than running... Have chosen instead to squeek at eachother repeatedly and wrestle. It was confusing. Ninny was not a word, it was not a word that she had learned... It didn't make sense, and what did they mean by not orthidox? She knew that when someone said it was not orthidox that it was... strange. "You are Strange prey, but you are prey." she said while trying to figure out the strange speech. They simply did not pronounce some things and then said stuff that did not make sense... It made her head hurt and she didn't like that feeling.
She glanced over at astafy, and then casimir to see if perhaps they knew something she did not? Maybe it was a language closer to their own...

Nope, Casimir, at least, wasn't having much luck with wot they were saying. As far as he understood it, orthodox meant normal. Well, then perhaps they were speaking truly; they certainly weren't making much sense to his mind.
The arguing pair reminded Astafy of the younglings she used to watch as a noctyier. At least these were some on the same ground the gryverns had been originally. "Do you care to share your names?" she asked with a hint of amusement.

Minni stared at the other creature never quite taking her eyes off Jaradka. She cleared her throat again... "I'm Minni and this is...." Friga cut her off... "I can speak for mehself, sheesh. Hi, I'm Friga. Nice ta meetcha... er..." She backed up again at the look Jaradka had on her face and slid Just a Hair closer to her bigger friend... Her wing accidently jabbing Minni in the side. "Ouch! Quit! Excuse please. Pleased to make your aquaintance." She brought one wing down to bonk Friga on the head while seeming not to even notice what she was doing. To which Friga made a rude noise and jabbed Minni on purpose with her wing... Minni put a heavy wing on Friga's head and pushed her down again.

Jaradka continued to watch them, eyes intently switching between the two as each one spoke she understood most of what they said this time but it was so confusing and it hurt her head to try and figure out what they were saying! couldn't they speak like the others? The others were confusing sometimes but never as much as this.... Well, except during some stories but she didn't need to understand those... Grr... Jaradka growled at them, Now, when she was acting intimidating there was always something wrong, like she was only mostly into it but now she appeared to actually want to cause some sort of harm.
But she didn't want to be a bad friend they just made her head hurt so much... Why would they want to do something like that! It... It... She momentarily bared her teeth, then actually did leap forward but, she managed to control herself before really attacking them. And instead just grabbed both of them and pushed them apart, hoping that they would cause less damage to her sensitive mind when apart... "QUIET! It hurts..." she trailed off near the end, bringing one hand up to hold against her head, while her eyes viciously darted between the two tsumes as she attempted to regain control and keep herself from mauling either of them... It was kind of difficult for her.

Casimir regarded Jaradka with concern while Astafy looked outright horrified. The Light gryvern was positive the green tsume was about to gobble the pair right down. Casimir was more concerned that Jaradka had pain. She really didn't seem the type to be hurt easily. The Dark paced up beside her, looking up to find out if she was alright. "How can I help you, Jaradka?" Casimir asked softly.
Astafy moved closer to the pair, checking to be sure Jaradka had done nothing more than just separate the two. "Are you alright?" she asked carefully, glancing back towards the large green tsume uneasily.

Both tsume's eyes were the size of very large server trays and Minni started to shake uncontrolably. Even the usually unflappable Friga seemed rattled. Neither spoke, they simply stared in terror at the crazed tsume. Either they Couldn't speak or chose to follow Jaradka's demand to the letter. Regardless of why, they remained silent but for Minni's teeth chattering through her clenched lips. Just staring at the others unblinkingly. Had they been together, they might have clung to each other.

Jaradka looked at Casimir her face still rather contorted from a mixture of rage and some pain, but then she blinked afew times and began to recover. Shaking her head afew times as if to try and dislodge those thoughts that attempted to confuse her and hurt her mind... It only took afew moments for her to recover all the way, atleast visibly and remove the hand that had been holding her pained head. "Jaradka is sorry," she looked between the tsumes then back at casimir before backing away from the tsumes and sitting down, she didn't want to lose control again if she were so close to the objects of her confusion... When she got confused it was hard to tell what she was doing. "Jaradka not understand... Words, confuse Jaradka." she said as she began to sulk, or atleast seem like she was sulking. In reality she was just waiting for the throbbing in her head to go away, It wouldn't be too surprising if it was partially a physical condition but if it was, it would be far too old to be healed permanently.
She didn't even hear what Casimir had said, when he asked her head was still hurting too much for it to get through. and she didn't think she needed to tell Astafy that she was not alright, because if she was alright she would not have told them that it hurt, right?

Astafy was actually directing her question at the pair, but they seemed beyond speech. She twitched her tail in some irritation at Jaradka's rough mannerisms, but she was a Healer and that meant more than just wounds. She turned a questioning look at Casimir. He figured it out after a moment, nodding to signify that he would try to help Jaradka, leaving the pair to the Light female.
Casimir moved with Jaradka, sitting carefully beside her. He hesitated for a moment then carefully leaned over and nuzzled the green neck gently. He . . . really wasn't certain how to help her, but was hopeful that a little quiet time without the other three would help.
Astafy turned to the pair as soon as Casimir agreed to take Jaradka. "Hello, Minni and Friga. It is very nice to meet you. Please forgive our over-exuberant. . . friend," there was that slight hesitation again, then she continued on in a crooning, calming voice. "I think it might be better if you were to tone down your normal, ahh, hyperness, that might help our further interaction. Alright?"

Friga was the first to actually blink... Minni still shuddered and shook staring at the others. Friga slid ever so slowly so that she was pressed back against her friend. She blinked but still kept her eyes one their attacker with wariness. She merely nodded to what the other said but still kept silent. They apparently not only 'toned it down' they would be stone silent. Friga was trying to slowly edge herself and her friend away from these creatures... She didn't know them and apparently they were Not friendly... Minni might get mad Later but at least she would be alive to do it. She dug one icy wing into her friend's chest to try pushing her ever so slowly back and felt Minni flinch. She muttered to Minni under her breath... "Come on Minni... I think we need ta get our tails outta here a.s.a.p." Minni said nothing but let the smaller tsume push her backwards. Neither took their eyes off the other creatures nor would they turn their backs on them.

Jaradka relaxed visibly when he nuzzled her, and slowly returned the gesture beginning to smile again, her head had cleared up quickly... It always did once things were no longer happening but in that short amount of time that she loses control, she knew she could do a whole lot of lasting damage... "Jaradka feeling better," she said before licking him on the top/side of his face "Did Jaradka hurt new friend prey? Jaradka not want to..." she said in a rather sad tone, she was not good at being friends with these new tsumes... She was a bad friend.
She looked up after a minute to see if there was any obvious wounds or anything and was slightly surprised to see them both still there apparently paralyzed or something... She had thought for sure that they would have ran, or atleast scurried off to the sides.

Casimir gave her another careful and precise affectionate rub of his muzzle before answering, "I believe you only frightened them badly. Will you be alright trying again?" The reddish-brown male was slightly worried for Jaradka and, to a lesser degree, concerned for the two new tsumes in the area. Apparently this wasn't the first time this sort of reaction had occurred, and likely wouldn't be the last. But she was obviously very sorry it had happened and that was good enough for him.
Astafy was more upset that they were unwilling to accept reassurances at all. Yes, Jaradka was a bit creepy, but she hadn't significantly harmed anyone, not even this pair. The Light gryvern took a step back and away from the two tsume, knowing Mozer would be exceedingly disappointed. "If you really want to leave, you can. I'm sorry we're such unsuitable company."
