Aniol decides to stay away from Havrani for the moment, having noted Mikhael's apparent desire to kill her at the mere thought of her having any sort of relationship with another, and out of self-preservation to a certain extent. He could recall the lore of jealous lovers told in stories like Othello, and the way such situations worked out for all involved. He had a certain fondness for the female Trance, not romantic in any sense, but a friendship.
The star-flecked female winces and cries out when Mikhael leaps from her, the movement forcing his nails deeper into her flesh for a moment. Sensing the worry of the Healer, she rolls as quickly as she can, limping further from the battle. "I-It's not as bad as it looks, j-just bleeding a lot.." she whimpered, her eyes and ears low. "I shouldn't have involved you.."
The red and black Gryvern stops nearby, surveying the battle from a tree. This was a curious sight indeed, and he pondered moving closer for a moment. Slowly he crept forward, his skill leaving him undetected by any on the ground.

With a howl of pain, Rastko fell heavily on his left side. There was no time to stop and survey the damage done, but the crippling agony shooting the full length of his right leg left little about which to wonder. As soon as he hit the ground, he pushed himself up in one breathless instant, using his powerful back legs to launch himself forward, head down, antlers out, to meet Mikhael's relentless attack. As the sharp antlers brutally sliced down and then up again, Rastko spared a glance over the body of the crazed Trance, fevently hoping to see that someone had gotten Havrani out of the way.

Antlers bit deeply into the crazed Warriour's side, but Mikhael didn't even seem to notice. Bright fangs danced into the light and he bit into the back of the Hunter's neck, worrying it sharply for a long moment.
"It doesn't matter, let's just retreat back to Natalya," Mahu-ike retorted sharply. At least he Healer could take care of the new wounds. She sent one brief glance towards the still fighting pair, worrying dancing through her gaze for Rastko. She hated leaving him for now, but first she had to get Havrani to safety. Then, perhaps, she could help somehow. Someway. . . .

(((OOC Rastko: ... *sweatdrop* Why does it sound like I'm doomed?))) _______________
Rastko's sharp whine of surprise and pain followed after the females as Mikhael's teeth sank deep into his flesh. The all-governing passion for self-preservation kicked in as he ripped free of the Trance's grip, tearing his skin even further in his desperation to get away. He staggered backward on three legs, short, gasping breaths rasping through his throat.
This was a fight that was not going to last much longer if he had to continue, but Havrani was still too close for him to try and escape without endangering her. Summoning some hidden reserve of strength, the Hunter, blood pooling at his paws and staining his fur, sized up his opponent, limping sideways, looking for an opening.
"Come on, mate," he murmured, clenching his teeth as his rough movements jarred his useless foreleg. "What else have you got?"

In a blur of red and black, a jeweled male dives between the warriors, hackles raised. "That is enough," he growls, glaring at both bleeding parties, his hackles raised. "It would be wise of you to leave now, Trance." he looks at Mikhael, not in a threatening manner, but a trace of danger still laced in his words. Havrani uses this moment to retreat further from the fight, wincing slightly with each step. Her wing hurts from her body weight crushing it, and looks slightly twisted as she hobbles away. She glances back, terrified - this newcomer looks oddly familiar, and she feels it will not bode well for her mate if he does not stop. Aniol's ears press back. "Kolya..? What?"

Legs quivering from the strain of simply standing, Rastko allowed himself to relax slightly with the arrival of the stranger, nearly collapsing in the process. He'd never hurt so much in his life.
"Who are you?" he asked, suspicion and relief a strange mixture in his voice.

Mikhael responded with a near-feral hiss, but, insane or not, intelligence flashed through his eyes. Oh, he recognized this one. Or, perhaps more specifically, this one's brother. "I've come to collect that which is mine," the Trance answered, the threat riding his words as well. He moved suddenly, not towards either of the males, but swiftly and suddenly between Mahu-ike and Havrani.
The Fire Type gave a low gasp as she was bodily pushed aside, fear flaring in her deep blue eyes. The Trance, however, was paying no attention to her. His gaze was directed over Havrani and towards the Mage in their midst. Something flashed briefly in the crimson gaze and disorientation washed over him. His eyes narrowed at Kolya, eyes falling to the blue gem imbedded in that dark flesh. "You were a Warriour." Why was he standing here as a Mage now?

The male's cool eye flashes slightly, raising his head in such a way that makes him appear much larger than he actually is. "Not now, you aren't. I reccomend you leave, and try to return for whatever you claim as your own. And if that something is a someone.. then I very much doubt you treat them in a positive manner."
At the comment of his old Caste, Kolya bristles. "It is nothing for you to know. I feel no desire to tell the story of my life to some... mental cripple." the last words come out as a hiss. Havrani drops low instinctively, crawling away from the standoff in a way she hopes to be slow enough to not catch Mikhael's attention.

Mikhael's teeth showed white in a dark flash of morbid humour, "My actions will not be dictated by a failure like you." He moved one large leg, the clawed foot catching the end of Havrani's tail and keeping her from moving further away from him. However, she doesn't seem to be the focus of his attention as he watches the Threat. "I remember the day you had your ears cut," he continued, perhaps taunting the Mage. "I remember your brother." How he was remembering all of this, he didn't know, but somehow he knew and he did recall. "The great Warriour, the one we all wanted to live up to." Red eyes flashed dangerously as his lip curled higher in mockery. "Casimir." He tilted his head at Kolya. "Where is your brother?"
Mahu-ike was following the same suit as Havrani, however she had more luck inching away. And she was plotting how to get the Trance female away from her mate. She wasn't coming up with anything -useful-, but she was plotting. She inched towards the Air male, hoping he might have an idea.
Natalya, for her part, was moving towards Rastko, watching the stand off warily. Despite the danger and her fear, she couldn't deny her Caste; she had to help the injured gryvern.

Rastko backed up slowly, one painful hop at a time. He had done his part and there was nothing more he could really do now. This was warrior business now, and the newly arrived male seemed far more capable than he. Rastko bit back a whimper as a back foot hit a stone half buried in the dirt, the impact sending new pain ripping through his open wounds. The moment of imbalance was enough to finally cause With that one moment of imbalance, he finally collapsed to the ground.

Natalya gave a near inaudibly gasp, giving one last glance to the two combatants, then darted to the Earth's side. "You're going to be alright," she announced softly and confidently to him. "We need to get you off your injured side, can you help me shift you?" The feathers along her back twitched uneasily though she presented a calm, cool, yet caring facade to the Hunter. If the wound had been compromised, she couldn't heal it until it was cleansed. She fretted slightly to herself, careful to not let him see the anxiety there.
"That was very brave wot you did. Thank you."

"Well, I'm not dead yet," the hunter mumbled with some degree of embarrassment. Pressing his weight on his good foreleg, he managed to roll to the other side, flattening his ears back in discomfort.
"You're welcome," he said quietly, though he wasn't exactly clear on why she was thanking him. "What's happening now?"
He craned his neck for a glimpse at the two warriors facing off.

Aniol's ears flick back, and he glances at Mahu-ike. His mind racing for any plan, he looks worried, but his eyes light up when Mikhael mentions Casimir. "We will find Casimir." he whispers, just loudly enough to be heard by the fire, then slowly begins backing away.
"I am not my brother's keeper." Kolya snorts, rearing back, almost appearing offended. Sure, he kept track of all the rumors, but even he was seeking the renowned Warriour. "I have no intent of finding him for the likes of you" Even if I was on good terms with him, he adds to himself, never taking his eye off the crimson-toned male.
Havrani gasps as Mikhael grips her tail, not daring to move it or try to pull it away - she feels she has lost more than enough limbs to her mate.

Natalya glanced briefly up at the ongoing fight, and a small shudder briefly shook her frame. "They're. . . talking. . . " Not that it wasn't preferable to the alternative, but, still. The tension in the air was huge. Reddish-brown eyes flicked back to the huge wound and she shook her head slightly. "I'm going to have to clean it, okay? It will probably hurt." Her voice was apologetic, but there wasn't anything she could do for his pain, not without finding some herbs, but she didn't know the flora here. The Earth female hesitated only a moment longer then began to clean his wound with long, sure strokes of her tongue. She cleaned off the dirt and plant bits stuck in the opening, but it took a bit of work.
Mahu blinked, but gave a swift, sharp nod. She snatched one last look at the stand-off, then slowly began to folllow the Air. They had to find a way to end this. They just had to.
"The likes of me?" Mikhael echoed softly, bloodred eyes shifting to his mate as though searching for the answer from her. "The likes of me, Havrani." He stretched out his neck deliberately towards her full wing and carefully caught a single feather in his teeth then plucked it out. He held the black feather for a moment, then blew it out, letting it float slowly towards the ground. The phrase seems to have caught his fancy and he continues to repeat it over and over, "The likes of me." He alternately grins and grimaces as he chants it, before finally grinning wolfishly at the mage. "But you do have the intent of finding him. Perhaps we will simply travel along with you for awhile, and then we shall all meet the Exalted Warriour."
