Mozer let his eyes rove the scenery below them again with an appreciative glance. It really was lovely to see. He sighed slightly as he thought of his earlier words. He would like to volunteer to be Geil's bodyguard, but he had far too many responsibilities to do so. He sighed and tried to force the tension away again.
He was on vacation for now; Geil had convinced him of that by means better left unpondered just now. He was glad for the peace of it, and, to a degree, to having the decision taken from him, even as his will tried to quail under the 'insult' of not choosing his own destiny. Or perhaps he had decided; the gryvern couldn't recall ever thinking he would actually win the duel.
That was a frightening, if ironically amusing, thought.

Geil looked over to the side and squinted down at the ground for a moment, wondering if there was something down there... But it turned out just to be some logs. Ah, this was a nice place wasn't it... Maybe he should come here more often. "So what would a Scholar ordinarily do in your caste system?" He asked as he continued to enjoy the view... His tail was probably rather ticklish to the gryvern as it kept wanting to curl around the creatures Sinous body but then would only do it partially and not keep tight against it...
Then geil began to wonder what they should do next, he didn't want to 'overwork' Mozer too much and so there should some other activity that they can do that'd be enjoyable of a different nature.

"A Scholar is a teacher," Mozer answered easily. "We spend the first part of our lives learned everything we can about everything so that someday we can teach the hatchlings." He smiled at that the word; it still amused him to call them hatchlings. "We're also available to all gryvern as a resource and referral specialist; if they have a question about anything, they ask us first and we will either know the answer, know where to direct them for the answer, or find out the answer for them." He gave a small shrug the movement nearly lost in the movement of his flight. "We usually work closely with the Historians as well so no information will be lost to future generations."
He continued to fly easily, moving in the type of flight that generally gryvern could keep up for hours. Of course, Geil was a little too heavy to keep it up for that long. . .

Geil licked his ear, then nudged it around alittle bit with his nose to examine it more closely, It was very Similar to Natalya's odd. "That seems like a rewarding career, if I ever had to give up being... well... Whatever I am right now, I think that would be a nice choice... Or maybe a caretaker, or uh whatever you call that." He said with a smile, allowing Mozers ear to return to it's regular position unpreturbed for now.
He was beginning to get really used to this flying now, and it was much easier to hold on than before... When he was so terrified.

"I love my Caste," Mozer said quietly, but the pleasure deep in his voice was still very well evident; someone had found his calling very fulfilling indeed. "We do have Caretakers," he informed Geil. "Though I'm not certain how many parents would be comfortable with you watching their children." There was no censure there, just simple fact.
Mozer's ears flicked quickly when the one was released as though they had to resettle themselves. His membranes weren't exposed as Natalya's, though, and, as well as the basic shape differences, Mozer's ears were a bit stiffer, especially towards the points where Nataly's could unbend slightly, his points didn't want to bend.

Geil laughed and nuzzled mozer, before giving him a playful bite. "I'm safe with kids, That's something you don't have to worry about, I think people that do... That sort of thing are just wrong." He said with a slight growl in his voice near the end. He had alot more morals, or atleast said he had alot more than you would expect from a sin.
"Hey! Let's go down there!" He exclaimed excitedly and pointed at a small lake alittle ways away.

"You are safe with kids, but are kids safe with you?" That didn't come out quite right, since Mozer's point was that kids liked to imitate those around them. And he certainly agreed with Geil's affront about pedophiles and their friends.
Mozer followed Geil's gesture to see the small lake and he shifted directions easily to head towards it. He couldn't help speeding up just a hair; he loved to be around water.

He seems to think about that comment for alittle while, contemplating it thoroughly before answering. "Probably not, whether it be from them picking up... Odd mannerisms or angry husbands showing I doubt that it'd be very good." He said with a small laugh, nuzzling mozer again as he noticed the increase in speed... He had guessed right about these gryvern really liking water, he wondered what their home was like to have it be so rare... Then decided he didn't really want to know, so long as he didn't have to go there.
Geil wondered whether the gryvern was simply going to fly into the lake or land on the shore... He hadn't actually specified anything and wasn't giving him a mental command either... It was funner when there was some spontanious actions after all, who wanted soulless puppets?

Mozer gave a low laugh himself; Geil was quite aware of his own abilities and since he wasn't currently fighting them, it was simply to find the idea amusing.
Perhaps Geil would have preferred specifying; Mozer skimmed down low enough to check the depth before regaining just a little bit of altitude and promptly rolled in the air, working to dump Geil in the middle of the lake.
Only after Geil was 'safely' in the water, Mozer flew nearly straight up before just stopping, and letting his long body plunge into the lake a short distance away from Geil. He let himself float beneath the water for a moment, looking about the water before beginning to paddle around, still underneath the surface.

Geil had reached out and skimmed the water with one hand as they fly so close to it, and was thoroughly unprepared for the sudden mid air loop, he hadn't even managed to replace his hand to grip mozer with it, Letting out a loud "ack!" as he suddenly found himself plummetting into the water in a rather uncontrolled manner, breaching the surface with his shoulder first and allowing himself to sink beneath the surface...
Blub... He glared up through the water as he touched down on the bottom, it took him a moment to regain his composure and to get rid of that disoreintated feeling, then quickly swam up and grabbed mozers backlegs, giving them a quick Tug and then he grabbing onto the others back.

Mozer's form shook with amusement, but he didn't dare laugh, lest he breathe some water. He continued his amused swim, swisting and turning under the water as he played beneath the surface of the water.
Sera had discussed something about swimmer's with him after she had discovered the gryvern's love of water. Some strange disorientation where you could lose up or down and drown simply because you couldn't find how to break the surface. Mozer never seemed to have that trouble, however; he could always tell up from down. He had a pretty large lung capacity as well, but he wasn't so certain for Geil and so he soonbrought them back up to the surface so they could refill their lungs.
He was not, however, planning on staying above the surface of the water for long, so he would drop back beneath again unless Geil interrupted the plan.

Geil raised his head up out of the water at the first chance he got, blowing out a small mist from his nostrils before he took another breath, He hadn't really gotten the chance to get a full breath of air before becoming submerged so... Abruptly. Then as Mozer began to submerge them both again, he started tickling the gryvern relentlessly, holding on with his legs just by squeezing the other tightly between them. it was amazing how quickly he could find the spots that were especially sensitive... It wasn't that unexpected of a talent though, considering his nature.
He of course didn't want Mozer to drown were he too ticklish and was ready to stop, or drag him to the surface.

Mozer generally wasn't overly ticklish yet Geil was able to find the spots that could be. He squirmed away and upwards, breaking surface to touch the air, before dropping back into the waves again. He couldn't seem to quite dislodge Geil, but in a way that was fine too. He didn't trust himself to try and tickle back, however; his clawed feet were never meant for that. . . At least, not during such play as this. So he kept up his twisting and turning, trying to slip away from the other male.

Geil began Giggling rather amusedly as mozer began thrashing around in attempt to dislodge him it wasn't very effective at first, because Geil was rather adept at uh... Nevermind, he was just hard to dislodge. But after alittle while of twisting, turning and thrashing about in the water geil lost his grip and was pushed under the water with some bubbles of protest spilling out of his mouth as he tried to recover in time to avoid some sort of counter-attack... Well, not really attack but you get the idea.

Mozer didn't retaliate, instead plunging deeper into the water, so he could explore the bottom of the lake. For a few minutes he forget they were playing as he shuffled through the rocks and wotnot at the bottom. It was easy to forget wot was going on when in the midst of so much lovely, cool water. The gryvern gloried in the silken feel of it as he moved through, the weightlessness of his large, long frame, and the joy that they didn't have to save every precious drop. There was enough to just play in.
