Sanctuary.

[Belladandy]

Like Annyo he too was tear stricken but not just out of fear but something else. A memory. One that haunted and tormented him for years.

The faun squeezed his eyes shut trying desperately trying to block it out but hearing the voice of Annyo and then Nado brought him back to reality.

"Re-ready!" He answered the elf and his stomach lurched as Seol made a might leap over the horrid corpse and with Tulan's grace he didn't fall off.

Pallo suddenly felt giddy, no giddy wasn't the word. More like an odd gravity less sensation of being underwater or in the air. Yet his body did not waver.

To Pallo's surprise he found himself straightening up, grabbing his elvish bow and notching an arrow to it.
Then he let it loose. It went off just like a flash of lightening the arrowhead burning bright with fire striking a horrid right in the throat.
Pallo had only a second to let out gasp realising what he had just done before grabbing another arrow. Unknown to him suddenly turned from brown to silver.

[Lee-Ann]

Annyo fallow suit of Pallo, whipped her bow out and fired a guarry of arrows, careful not to hit Lee, wich was rather hard, because she was no longer seen. Her nor her mount. Then, out the the giant mess, Nado appeard as if out of thin air. He landed quickly and a black ball seemed to grown in his hand as he threw it into the horrid scene (hah get it?)

[Belladandy]

The howling suddenly changed into high yelps of pain. The remaining beasts hissed realizing now that the easy prey wasn't so easy at all and with their main leader dead there was noone to command the attack.

With one last growl and a sharp glare of their four eyes the horrids made a hasty retreat.

Pallo watched the horrids leave. He was shaky and not to mention a little dizzy by the attack thankfully unharmed. But what bothered him was that how did he manage to shoot a arrow on horse err unicorn back and hit right on the target?
He was never taught to do such a skill nor was very good at archery. At least not this good.
"I-I don't...uhh..." He rubbed face as his eyes changed back to their normal color.

[Lee-Ann]

Annyo sighed in relief as the Horrids hissed in fury and made a hasty retreat. "Everyone okay?" she asked.
Nado nodded and walked slowly over to the mess where the black unicorn was struggling to get up, the lead Hirrid lay burnt and bloody, and Lee's body laying, still and unmoving. He jumped off his mount and lifted the female elves body from the ground, pressing his ear to her chest. "Good...still alive. Lee's okay, just unconcious." he told the fauns.

[Belladandy]

Pallo got off of his mounted and crossed his arms trying to still his trembling body. "S-he lucky.." He said softly. "We're all lucky. Horrid attacks often end up bloody." Pallo looked away as his eyes treating to tear up again.

[Lee-Ann]

"This one did, just at a lesser cause. She's hurt, but allive." Nado told. "We should get moving. Just incase they regroup and attack." He added
Annyo hugged Pallo as if telling him he could cry on her shoulder if needed.

[Belladandy]

The faun look at her and gently rubbed her shoulder. "Aye, Aye..." Pallo said very softly. "Years ago Willow's Way was attacked by a large pack of horrids. They did not stop attacking till we killed off every member of their pack."

He sighed and brushed away a few tears on his face. "Many good centaurs and fauns died defending our lands. Those creatures are born to do one thing; to kill. And they won't stop killing till they breath their very last breath."

[Lee-Ann]

"Yes... I should know...But that is a story for another time." Annyo said, walking closer to the blue unicorn mare. She hopped on with grace and turned to the others and said "Coming?"
Nado nodded and set Lee upon her black horse. "You'll be able to carry her right?" He asked. The black steed nodded its head and Nado faced Pallo. "Need a hand up or will you be okay?" He asked

[Belladandy]

The faun's answer was hardly even audible. "No I can manage."

Hopping onto Seol's back none-so-gracefully he rubbed the side of his face and said in a whisper to his mount.
"Aye matey, did you see me back there shooting like a master archer? I don't know how I managed to do it I wasn't even thinking..."
His voice trailed off.

[Lee-Ann]

"Twas Annyo's bow. It has been enchanted, and chooses who will shoot it. She has become frusterated because she could never hit her target with that one...You're lucky." he whispered back. He flicked flies off of his rump and began at a slow walk.
Nado leapt onto his unicorn and walked beside Lee's black mount. He looked worried as her limp figure was slumped over the sleek black neck.
Annyo sat daintily on her mount, despite the trauma they all just endured.

[Belladandy]

Now everything was beginning to make sense. Falling under the magical bow enchantment Pallo was able to pull off such a incredible stunt. It was the magic and not him doing the shooting.

"Which means I'm no hero..." He muttered to himself feeling just a tad bit crestfallen but shrugged. What mattered to the young faun more that his friends were not seriously harmed.

[Lee-Ann]

"No worries mate, the bow picks its hero 's what I'm trying to say." Seol continued, and began to ramble on about the bow's magical properties.
Nado scanned the area before fallowing the others, staring somewhat at the bloodied snow where the alpha horrid and Lee's blood lay.

[Belladandy]

"Does the symtomes included dizzyness, a feeling on walking on air? Or was that just only me?" The faun asked trying not to look behind him. Pallo was a bit sicken by the gore and knowing that the fell beasts would sooner or later come out and feast on thier dead.

[Lee-Ann]

"Perhaps, its diffrent with each person." Seol continued, once again explaining the properties. By nightfall, the small group had reached the end of the forest and Annyo started laughing. She pointed at a cluster of lights and village like souds coming from a hill. "We're allmost there!"

[Belladandy]

Pallo blinked his sleepy eyes. "Eh, we're not in Willow's Way already?" He yawned.
