[Lee-Ann]

"Allright, you have every right to be worried. Heck, Even I'm a little scared." Annyo confessed, looking downward. Then, she looked up at the snow and smiled greatly.
Lee laughed and leaned down giving Pallo a light pat on the back. "You'll be fine" She assured.

[Belladandy]

Aye...aye..." Pallo rubbed the back of his head and smiled. "Courage is not the apense of fear as my Grandfaather used to say to me."

[Lee-Ann]

Nado suddenly kicked his mount into a gallop and Lee soon fallowed suit and kicked her black unicorn into pace. "Shall we go?" Annyo asked.

[Belladandy]

Right!" Pallo shouted and lightly kicked his ride. "Onward my most noblest of noble steeds." He gave the unicorn a wink.

[Lee-Ann]

Seol whinnied and laughed as he sped into a full on gallop to keep up with the other riders and mounts. "Noble is yourself!" He said gleefully.

[Belladandy]

"Aye!" Pallo cried grabbing hold of Seol's mane ((I take it their riding bareback and with no bridle)) nearing falling off with the sudden pace of speed. "But what's a hero without his noble steed? I can't take all the glory!"

[Lee-Ann]

"Okay then!" He laughed. When they came upon the others, he slowed down to a calm canter and hummed to himself.

[Belladandy]

"Well so far, so good." Pallo said cheerfully as they approached. "Looks like no monsters are out prowling around today!"
Unfortunately Pallo had for the moment completely forgotten about the strange 'thing' he spotted earlier. Otherwise he would of given the others a early warning.

Crouched silently as a cat with it's scales blending in with the snow (like a chameleon) a pair of four blood red eyes on a face uglier then sin itself; a horrid watched the travelers with great interest.
It let out a low hiss as it quickly ran away back to the horrid pack to bring the good news of easy prey.

[Lee-Ann]

Lee, Annyo and Nado rode on blissfully and compleatly un aware of the danger about them. Still humming his joyfull tune, Seol shook the snow from his mane.
Lee broke out in song ((just image the song by Rem "Mad World"))
Nado watched her happily and laughed gently as her voice rang out like bells in the spooky forest air.

[Belladandy]

Despite the merriment of the two Pallo suddenly felt uneasy. Wether it was the gloominess of the forest they were in or just that the fact that it had oddly gone quite (save for Lee's singing) the young faun couldn't put his mind at ease.

Shifting his weight he leaned over to Annyo and whispered. "Call me jumpy but do you get..."

The last bit never left his mouth for at that moment a high shriek suddenly rang out threw the woods.
"Horrids!" Pallo cried and looking behind terror suddenly griped him as two tiger sized horrids had appeared. Howling they ran full speed at the travelers.

[Lee-Ann]

Without a moments notice, Seol burst into a full on gallop, fleeing from the horrids. Annyo stared at the two giant animals, the too turned and fled after Pallo and Seol. "Ah hah! Just what I was waiting for!" Nado hollard happily. He urged the blue mare foreward at a canter, a red ball of fire forming in his hands. Lee thought for a moment and then fallowed suit. She conjured a ball of multicolor glowing gooey stuff and flung it at the closest horrid sending it down.

[Belladandy]

Terrified and unable to do anything Pallo held on Seol for dear life. “Stay close together!” He cried out remembering what his Grandfather had told him long ago.
When horrids attack it’s very important that you stay close to your friends. The voice of his Grandfather echoed in his mind. Those creatures like to separate their prey so that can kill you with nobody there to help. Divide and conquer, that’s what the horrids like to do.

another high wail shriek suddenly broke Pallo from his thoughts. Five more horrids appeared and began to surround the group.

[Lee-Ann]

"Nado, we cant attack...Run them down!" Lee yelled at Nado who was ugring his mount closer to a horrid. The mare ignored Nado and turned heel and barged after Pallo and Annyo. Lee glanced back and kicked her unicorn hard in the ribs. The two raced to cath up with Pallo and Annyo, and made a line with them, as if saying to the horrids, they wont stop.

[Belladandy]

Pallo's heart was pounding wildly and shaking madly he hunched his body closer to Seol's back. "Tulan! Tulan!" He screamed. "Protect us!"

"Eurrrrriieeeeeaaahh!" The faun jerked his head up and screamed. Up ahead he saw more horrids running straight at them. Lead by the largest and most hideous horrid Pallo had ever seen. The pack's leader let out another howl and charged even faster taking the front.

Now they were trapped! His companions couldn't turn around less face the horrids behind them and to continue meant running into the rest of the beasts. Not to mention their butt ugly leader.

[Lee-Ann]

Lee pressed her black unicorn foreward who dipped her head down, pointing her long gleaming horn towards the leader. Nado yelled something in elvish just before Lee, the unicorn and the leader Horrid collided. There was a yell, a definate shriek from the unicorn, and a noise that the Horrid let out. Because all three were on the ground, it was indefinate who won.
Annyo yelled and tears streamed down her face as she kicked her mount full on to leap over the nasty mess. She yelled back at Nado and Pallo "Hurry, Lee can't wait for ever! Jump!"
Nado looked at Seol then to Pallo. "Are you ready? I'll let you go first. If I dont make it out, Annyo will protect you." He told the small faun.
