"Oh yes..." The faun answered suddenly swaying to the right. He shifted to the left regaining his balance. "Willow's Way is rather a small town and we don't get many ahh outsiders."

"Aye.." Pallo said softly and stared ahead across the snow covered land. Far far off in the distance, though the faun wasn't for sure but he could see the faint mass of trees.
"Shadowwood..." He said in a whisper.

"Eh?" Seol asked him, having heard. The other three didn't because they were too busy catching snowflakes and leaning way down the side of their mounts and making snowballs, throughing them at eachother. Nado gently threw one at Pallo and smiled. "C'mon squirt!"

Nado let out a good hearted laugh and whipped up another snowball, throwing it at Pallo again. "Bet cha cant get me!'' he smirked.
Annyo smacked her forehead and Lee just sighed, smiling at the two boys.

Jumping off (or falling off) his steed the faun snatched up a handed full of snow crunched it into a ball and hopping around behind the three he threw it at the male elf. Hitting him right smack in the back of the head.

"Ah! Hey!" Nado yelped, lurching his hand to the back of his head where he had been hit. He lean over and rolled another snowball hurling it at the small faun's chest with some force.
"Oy vey...Allright you two, lets stop before theres an all out war..." Annyo suggested.
"Yeah good idea..were loosing daylight..."Lee added

Pallo suddenly clutched his chest as if an arrow pierced him and cried in mock pain and fell to the ground in a over dramatic death roll.
“Ahh I’ve been skewered! Oh, the pain! The pain! The fat lady is singing, I die..I die...I’m dead! ”
The faun closed his eyes and went limp for a second then opened them again and got up. “Heeheeh, sorry mates I couldn’t help myself.” He giggled giving the two girls a apologetic look and shrugged. “But you’re right Lee-Ann, we should get going...”
Pallo leapt back onto his unicorn (surprisedly with no trouble at all) and looked ahead and he suddenly he saw (or he thought he saw) something in the distance.
But whatever it was disappeared in a blink of an eye before he had the chance to say anything about it.

"Ok....So, we can go the long way round the dark forest, or right through it..." Nado said thoughtfully.
"But theres dark things in the...dark forest." Lee said to him, giving him a light hit over the back of the head.
"Yeah, but we have Magic."He replied.
"But so do they" she added.
Annyo sighed then said "Lets just go around. I think Trevale can wait an extra day...."

"No Silly, just the dark forest, and 'they' are evil beings who prey on wandererds...mostly cannibals or giant spiders, but were not sure becuase those who DO excape, are crazy." Annyo stated smartly.
"Yeah, and they can wield magic. Annyo, you scaring even me the way you said that!" Nado added.
"But your scared easilly so live with it Nado" Lee said.

The grin on the faun’s face vanished completely. Giant spiders...of all creatures of evil why did it have to be giant spiders!
Ever since he was bitten by one when he was kit and reacted badly to the venom Pallo had been terrified of any sort of arachnid. Heck even the just the word ‘spider’ sent shivers down Pallo’s back.
“I just hope that it’s just mere stories...and not real.” He said in a whimper. “The tales of Horrids still lurking wild in the fair forests of Shadowwood is bad enough.”

"Yeah but..." The faun scratched his head (making his right ear twitch) not quite sure of how say that the fact that he didn't doubt their abilities.
Heck, Pallo had every possible belief that the elves and the she-faun could face any kind of enemy and spit right in the foe's eye. But for him showing such courage? With so many phobias? Was it ever possible?
Guess I'll have to find out....He thought as a knot began to tighten in his belly.
"But..." He continued trying to put on a smile. "It doesn’t stop me from worrying."
