"are you ready?" she blushed, but it was to dark to see.
"a great trial lays ahead of us.." she said, looking into the darkness, then back at joth.

((ok! well, kaylin has golden brown hair, blue eyes, and usuly has a white dress on. andrean has red hair, and black pants, and a white or tan shirt with brown boots))

[Belladandy]

Joth looked at the elf in surprise. "A trail?" He said and added sarcastically. Don't expect me to get all the answers right, never been to school."

[kaylin48]

"yes a trail...i can tell..it is way to cold to be indoors..even if it is a dark castle." she said.

[Belladandy]

"Can't we just skip the bloody trial and get on with the reascuing Andrean part?" Groaned Joth.

[kaylin48]

"well.." she said looking at joth with one eye brow raised. "i'm afraid that the 'trail' is the only way to go. there is no where to go, but back. and remeber the little floor trouble?" she shrugged.
"we only have one way to go." she said turning and following the trail.

[Belladandy]

The thief followed, keeping a weary eye out for danger.

as they slowly made their way out of the court yard kaylin stopped.
she stepped back in horror.
"j-joth...y-ou may want to-to step back..." she said.

[Belladandy]

"Why, what is it?" Asked Joth jumping backwards.

[kaylin48]

"l-look.." she pointed, and sure enough, a pair of burning red eyes peared out of the darkness.

[Belladandy]

The Mouse said nothing but letting go of Kaylin he held his sword with both of his hands pointed it directly at the red eyed creature.

I just hope this is enough to frighten the thing enough to run away. He thought though in the back of his head plain common sense told him otherwise. Even after all he'd been through Joth doubted the fact that a small boy like him with a elven blade could really scare anybody or anything. Considering that he hardly knew how to use a sword other then that the pointy end went into badguy.

He shifted uneasily the pain in his side had thankfully lessen slightly but Joth wondered if it would get worse if the creature suddenly decided to attack them.
Making me vulnerable.

the beast slowly creeped out of the darkness. it was mangled, and disgusting. it was like a horrid, but more...horrid.
kaylin looked at joth and drew her sword.
"you ready? i dont think this things going to back down." she said looking back at the beast.

[Belladandy]

Joth looked at her nervously but unwilling to cower he raised his sword and cried out. "Aye! This will be the day that the Mouse had roared!"

"And the raven crowed!" Shouted a familiar voice from behind. Neyena in her 'human' form stepped out from the darkness armed with only her stone knife and her magic. Bowing her head she added. Forgive me but I could not wait and I sensed that you would be in need of me!"

kaylin smiled and waved at neyena.
"watch out!" she sqeaked as the beast went at neyena.

[Belladandy]

With incredible inhuman speed the wyreka leapt into the air out of the beast's path, blasting the creature with lightening that flashed out from her hand.

Temporarily blinding the mangled horrid and giving Joth and Kaylin an opportunity to strike.

The Mouse wasted no time with a cry he ran and slashed with his elven blade eat the horrid's face. Though he missed the two orbs of eyes he managed to cut trough the horrid's hard scales and think skin leaving a bleeding gash on it's ugly face.

kaylin went right behind him, stabbing the beasts back.
it roared, and scrached her leg with its long, claws.
"ouch! you stupid-" she hissed, but before she could spit the rest out, a howl pelted the air. she gritted ehr teeth from the pain in the wound, but hoped the howl was kisha.
