kaylin gasped, turning to her friend.
"joth?" she said grabbing his arm.
"joth?!" she said franticly as he went unconcious.
she soon felt dizzy.

"Hold on!" Cried Neyena and concentrating she summon forth her powers with a flick of her hand a surge of lightening shot forth from her hand continuously striking the horrid until the beast with one final cry fell to the ground.
The wyreka eyed the horrid as a wave of wearyness came over her. She lowered herself to the to the ground and panting heavily she said. "Kaylin...Use your blade now!

kaylin, with the last bit of energy, struck the beast and sent it tumbling to the ground.
"..neyen-." she said falling backwards from the wound in her leg from where the beast had schratched it.

Struggling to her feet the wyreka went to the elf's side. Her face went grime seeing the bleeding slash marks on Kaylin's leg.
The wyreka tore off a few stripes of cloth from Kaylin's dress to bind the wound.
"The wound is not deep but it still needs the tending of a healer." She turned her attention to Joth.
Unbuttoning his jerkin she pulled up his tunic to have a look at his side and let out a gasp.
The area where Lokena had pierced him was completely bruised and blackened with a foul smelling oil-like substance oozing from the dark mass.
"Just as I thought, Joth was not completely healed. His body has been cursed by Lokena's dark blade."

"Find Andrean first!" Interupted Neyena. "You can not face Lokena with out putting Andrean in danger. Not while she is still being held hostage."
The wyreka paused and turned her yellow eyes away from the elf and back to the thief. By now, Joth's body was shaking as in fever and sweat was forming on his brow. It wasn't a good sign. Neyena, had heard tales of men who had been peirced by weapons from warithes and nicromancers and knew that such fell things often if not always carried a dark spell that slowly killed the victom.
"We need the others, your brother, the bar'tok and the healer here fast."

Neyena nodded laying Joth's head on her lap. "Of course I will. But beware..."
She pointed to the dead horrid. There may be more of them. The Mar'tacks rarely travel alone."

"i should be ok." she said. "take care of joth." with that, she turned around and headed off to find the rest.

Neyena bowed her head and quietly waited for the elf's return. Ten minutes past when, to the wyreka's surprise and delight, Joth awoke from his spell.
The thief stirred and groaned as he opened his eyes, blinking and staring up at Neyena. "Welcome back..." She said softly smiling at him.
Joth looked at her in confusing and with a groan he said.
”Wha? Oh, gadz have I been drinking again?”

as kaylin slowly made her way throught the maze like castle.
she sighed. her brother and kisha where no where to be seen.
when she made her way out of winding her way through the darkness, she saw a dim light.
"candles? why would lokena want candles?" she said under her breath.

"Drinking?" The wyreka stared down at him with a puzzled look on her dark face.
Sighing Joth -with the help of Neyena- slowly got up to a sitting position. He felt a little nausaited and his side still felt cold but the feeling soon past and Joth was back to his normal self for the time being.
"What happened and where's Kaylin?" He asked rubbing his face.
It took a few moments for the wyreka to reply. Lowering her head she answered softly. "Kaylin did not completely heal you." The wyreka paused and went on. "The wound that Lokena gave you is slowly posioned your body."

kaylin looked at the candle like lights again.
"wait...even though lokena dose not care about light, she still will put candles when somthing that cannot survive in darkness...." kaylin said with a sly grin. "andrean!"
she was torn. she needed to find the rest for joth, yet they came here just for andrean.
she decided to check the light out to see if anything was there.

The color drained from Joth's face as the terrible realization struck him. "I'm dying?"
The words barely past the hard lump in his throat.
Neyena, seeing his distraught laid a hand on his shoulder. "No. You will not die. Do not give up hope. We will find a way to cure you. No matter what it takes do not give up hope."
