Two figures softly touch down in the Orchard. At first appearance, they appear to be of the now seldom seen drigetti. But on closer inspection are found to be zebracorns. The one in the lead, a blue-maned mare, steps forwards and looks around. Eyes eagerly taking in the sight around her. She paces here and there, ears pricking at the least of sounds. Meanwhile the stallion hangs back, watching her movements with amusement. He snorts lightly at it, shaking a bit of green mane out of his eyes. Hearing this the mare trots back to her friend, nipping him lightly on the rump, swallowing a chuckle at his indigiant neigh.

A flash of color and then Evira peers through the trees at the interesting pair. She'd only ever met one other dragon-winged zebracorn. She tilted her head, ears perked and watching. Of course, with her mane being so bright in color it /was/ difficult to hide successfully. She flicks her tail, some of the strands of rainbow hair getting caught in the bare limbs of the bushes. members.tripod.com/~Unicorn_Dancer/index-Zebracorn3.html

A light crackling sound catches the mare's attention, and she spins away from her friend towards the source of it. Eyes squint them widen as she stares at the cluster of trees. She heard that this place was magical, but she had no idea there were going to be rainbow-colored flora here!
She moves towards it curiously, facinated by the bright colors. The stallion merely sighs at her, and follows her in a more leisurely fashion.

Eep. Evira's ears flatten and she takes off through the trees, darting away and down the bank toward the stream. She wasn't normally a shy mare but she'd never scene these zebracorns before.

The mare stops abruptly, then lets out a squeal as the trailing stallion crashes into her. "Ahar do you mind! The rainbow bush, tree, whatever, just fled!" She spins around looking at him, then back again. "Alika…" The stallion draws out slowly, shaking his still dizzy head. "Plant-life usually doesn't up and leave. Therefore it wasn't a plant, so it must have been an-- hey were are you going?!" Midway during his lecture she started wandering away, peering through the trees. "Shh! Shh! You'll scare it off! Now where did it go?" Ahar just sighs at her.

Snorting and nickering to herself, Evira fled down to the stream and stopped just on the bank. She stood there, ears flicking and watching the movement up in the trees.
/Hmmm...well I'm just sneak up behind them and surprise them!/ she decided. She flattened her ears and started to sneak back up in the trees, watching them closely. She kept her tail up so that it wouldn't get caught on anymore branches.

"Alika…" The stallion begins in a long-suffering tone. "Would you please stop that? I'm sure whatever you saw will pop up again. Just be patient and wait. Please?"
He flattens his ears slightly and pouts, realizing his request fell on deaf ears. "Hmm, Ahar? Did you say something? I couldn't quite make it out, would you mind repeating it?" She asks him faintly.
Facefault. "Nevermind." Another sigh.

Evira snuck up through the trees, following their hoof prints. She flicked her ears, looking down at the two of them as they walked.
She snorted. /Strange zebbies, that's for sure/
Tilting her head she wondered what they were doing here.

( resurrects RP… ^_^; )
Ahar drifts away from the mare, shaking his head at her antics. For all that they were friends there were still moments when she had him utterly dazed. Like now. With another deep sigh he looks heavenward.
Meanwhile, Alika continues searching for the oh-so-mysterious plant life. "Pretty, pretty plant– where are you?" She sings softly. "Please come out."
