Garnet didn't let down her guard, still posed the same, but less angry. "How quick you are to trust him! He could be... one of them..." she said suspiciously, eyeing the newcomer. She backed herself up slightly, not knowing what to expect. "But to answer your question, I don't know if they are okay or not. We'll have to wait and see. Who knows how long it could take? They may not get back till morn..."
In the cave, the back wall suddenly turned around so it was sideways and it provided a pathway forward. It was dark, so they could not see ahead. However, it was the exit out the side of the cave...

Gazing into the pathway Anocher didn’t need to really see where this tunnel lead to. With his strong sense of smell he knew instantly that this was an exit. Picking up the chest he said to Briin'ken.
“The way out is open for us! Have great tale for the others.” He smiled happily and descended into the tunnel.

Garnet wrinkled her nose and sniffed the air. "Hmm... I can smell them, but I can't see them," she mused. Her eyes darted around her dimly-lit surroundings, trying to figure out where the smell was coming from. She finally figured out that it had come from the side of the cave, but she decided to wait. She'd check it out in the morning, if need be.

Stepping out from the mouth of the cavern Anocher looked up twords the heavens gratful to see the stars again. He sniffed the air smelling his compaions off in the distance.
"Friends near here Anocher smell them." He said and then paused for a moment. A new scent came to him. "Anocher smell someone he not reconized."
Whoever it was they'll find out eventfuly as they came closer to the campsite.

" Anocher cried as they came to the campsite. He wondered if anyone would notice his mailshirt. He put down the chest of chainmail and eyed the stranger.
"Who be this?" He asked.

Garnet's ears flattened along her head. She sat down shamefully and looked at the ground. "I... I'm sorry," she said to RoboMonkey. "I guess I overreacted. We could use all the help we can get. I'm sorry for not trusting you." As Anocher came into the clearing, she turned with a genuine smile on her face. "You're back! Wonderful! Are you okay? Are you hurt? Any broken limbs?" she demanded, circling Anocher and Briin both to check for injuries. She stopped in front of Anocher. "What's that you're wearing?" she asked, staring at his chainmail shirt.

Briin'ken sniffed at the stranger, wrinkling her nose and turning away.
" A monkey.." She growled under her breath. She forgot about RoboMonkey as she looked at her two other friends.
"Hey! Have fun while we were gone?" she asked, grinning.

He laughed and responded. "Not hurt." Then answering her second qeastion. "Anocher wears Silver chainmail. Briin'ken and Anocher have story to tell."
Then he and Briin'ken told their story. After it was finished he added.
"Anocher think Master Dragon knew about qeast for Zelda."

She had had a couple encounters with these foolish creatures before.
"Troublemakers, all of them." she remarked, swishing her tail in annoyance.

((Sorry I haven't been on for a few days, my cousin was over. ^_^;  ) Garnet listened with interest as Anocher told his story. "Hm. Interesting, very interesting. I think he knew about us and Zelda, too. Both of your names are written there... and he said he was psychic. That's pretty neat, huh!" she said with a smile. "I'm glad you two are okay, though." She turned to Briin with a neutral expression, feeling the same way about RoboMonkey but knowing in the end that she'd become good friends with him. She figured it'd be best for herself to keep her mouth shut on that subject for now. |

He ponder this fact. That was probably the only reason for the mail. What was any other reason?
