Finding Zelda [open rp]

[Briin'ken]

Briin'ken 'd at the eyeball in the birdbath. How could he tell Stormie was a shapeshifter? And just what was he making them wait for?

((I don't know how to say 'd- gaped? looked strangely at? Oh well))

[Nippy]

"Shhh, silence! I need silence. And all your questions will have to wait to be answered. We are going to begin."

The Eye shut itself. ((Again... it's an eye... shutting itself... haha... )) It rolled backwards, and then disappeared, leaving them alone in the glade with nothing but their thoughts.

[Belladandy]

Anocher braced himself for action. He stay close to the others.

[Briin'ken]

Briin'ken mimicked(sp?) the eye, mouthing the words he had just said. Then, feeling a little immature, she stood up. The wolf faced the birdbath, wondering what would happen.

[Nippy]

After a little while of total and utter silence, and no actions what-so-ever, a large bright light eminated from the "birdbath". Garnet, turning her eyes away since it was so bright, shielded her face with her arm. After the light had calmed down a little, she took her arm away and just plain stared at what hovered above the "birdbath". It was Zelda, or at least appearing to be.

"Am I what you all seek?" 'Zelda' asked, sounding exactly like Garnet's friend.

Garnet blinked. Could it be a trick question? She just stayed quiet for now.

[Briin'ken]

"Who are you," Briin'ken asked boldly, not recognizing Zelda, "are you Garnet's friend?"

[Nippy]

"I am who you say I am." ((Oooo and Audrey pulls a line from the Gospels! Whoo! ;D))

The 'cat' didn't look at anyone in particular, just off towards the hedge maze.

"Am I what you truely search for?" she repeated.

[Belladandy]

The Wanderer bent down and wispered to Garnet. "Anocher thinks this question is only for Lady Garnet."

[Nippy]

Garnet's ears lowered and flattened against her head. She looked at 'Zelda' and thought about her question for a second. "Yes, I'm looking for you," she said, "But in ways, I'm searching for my inner self, too." She nodded in affirmation of her statement.

'Zelda' smiled and turned to Anocher. "Look to the future, my friend, and not to the past. Maybe then will you find the answers to your questions. Would you be willing to forget your past, or cling to it for eternity?"

[Belladandy]

Anocher paused for a while in deep thought. To forget your past, or cling to it for eternity?"
What past? He had no past to dwell on save for the dark memories under the domain of the Warlock. Was this what the 'Zelda' image was talking about. To cling on to the pain of slavery he endored?
No, Anocher didn't dwel on his harsh past and now knew the right answer.

"Anocher not cling to past. He free slave now." He answered with a smile. Yes this Zelda was indeed right Look to the future.

[Nippy]

'Zelda' smiled satisfactorily and nodded, then turned to Briin.

"And you, Briin, always treasure the light-heartedness and carefree attitude you have been blessed with. Use it not only to cheer yourself up, but to cheer others up as well. You must never give up on yourself, or your friends. They will need your aid in harsh times. Would you aid them, come the time?"

Garnet's brow flattened. It was a dumb question, she thought, but there had to be some deeper meaning to it. There always was.

[Briin'ken]

Briin'ken smiled when she heard the image describe her personality.

"Well, of course I will," she answered, "I've come this far- hey, wait a minute.. how do you know this about me?"

((Er.. sorry. If you have a deeper message in that paragraph, it's over my head. I'm not that deep ^_^))

[Nippy]

((Nah, it's good. ^_^ I'm not that deep, either, just trying to make it sound deep... lol ^.^))

'Zelda' smiled and nodded, as she did with Anocher.

"Never stop asking questions, Briin'ken. Arm yourself with knowledge," was all the cat said.

'Zelda' turned at last to Stormelle. She was almost done.

"And last, but certainly not least, Stormelle and Teko. Do not be afraid to let people in closer to you. Let them understand you, be your friend. And always remember: you are your own best friend. You can always count on yourself. But would you ever count on others to aid you? Would, or could you, ever trust them with your lives?"

'Zelda' gazed at each of them attentively.

((For all intensive purposes, I will leave out Adrian's questioning because... well... he's my character and I figure it'd be pointless to have conversations with myself. ;D))

[Stormelle]

Techo growling diryed and he passed looking at the gril.

[Nippy]

"Well? Are you going to answer?"

The floating cat-image looked at them with a blank expression.
