Nimbus tilted his head slightly as he watched her; another dream, possibly? "Artemis... I see you..."The Kiira let out a low, soft growl. The blackness she had been seeing suddenly began to become dotted with little white dots. Stars. Millions of them swirled around her, making her dizzy. She strained her eyes to see straight.
"You cannot run, Artemis... I will find you..."
She began to run through the darkness, surging through the little dots as if she were bigger than life itself. It was chasing her, trying to catch her. She knew it. She knew it would hurt her, or worse, kill her.
"Artemis... ARTEMIS!"The Kiira gasped and jumped, now sitting upright in the orchard forest. She blinked and gazed around her warily, her mind spinning. Suddenly, her friend's voice broke her reverie. "Did you have another dream?" The golden creature nodded. "Uh-huh." She was very little, still a naive baby. When she was just born, she got separated from her parents, and as she looked for them, she ended up meeting Nimbus the Mistrel. He was taking care of her now. Though he believed they would never find her parents, he humored her nonetheless and told her not to give up hope. "Will you be alright?" Nimbus asked, nudging the Kiira softly. "I will." Artemis lay her head back down on the ground and shut her eyes. She just wanted to sleep peacefully for once, to be rid of the nightmares that plagued her ever since she was born. Just for once, she wished them gone... ((Anyone can reply! ;D)) |

Not far off sleeping peacefully lay a most bizzare creature. It was dragon like but a dragon with soft short silver fur instead of scales. The creature had a long white horse like mane and a tuffed tail. Along with the fact that it had a golden unicorn's horn on it's head and a unicorn's "beard".
It's was a small size creature standing less then five feet.
The dragcorna or what many people call this creature's race.(since their real name is rather diffcult to pronouce) A strange mixure of unicorn and dragon thus giving them the name "drag-corna."

"Are you going back to sleep?" asked Nimbus.
"No... I don't think I can right now... But would you do me a favor, though? I'm quite hungry. Get me some food?" Artemis lay there, eyes still shut, trying to relieve the sensation of wanting to go to sleep. Her eyelids weighed down on her like anchors to her feet. She was very tired, and her voice was light with fatigue.
Nimbus looked at her sadly. "Yes, I will. Get some rest... as much as you can." He fluttered up into the air without a word and tilted himself forward, flying into the forest. He was on a quest for fruits and veggies. They were Artemis' favorites. Humming a tune, he made his way through the forest rather loudly, since he thought no one else was around.

Twitching a bit and then opening it's eyes slowly it gasped when it heard Nimbus' singing.
"Oh no! I'm dead! The Songmaker* is calling me" It muttered still half asleep even with it's eyes parsly opend.

((Yes!! I'm glad to RP with you two once more! ;D))
Artemis pricked her golden ears. The C'bana weren't too far off from where she lay, she wagered, although she didn't exactly know what they were. All she heard were the voices. She opened one eye and gazed around her. She couldn't see anything, but could most definately hear them. She wondered if they'd find her here or not.
Nimbus continued to fly through the forest, still humming. Spotting a ripe red apple in a random apple tree, he began to fly over to it, though stopped and gasped as he realized he was hovering directly over what looked like a sleeping dragcorna. He bit his lip and moved to the right, then proceeded to stop singing and quietly go to the apple tree and pick the apple (though it was quite tough with that small mouth of his, so he also had to use his tail as well).

The creature seem to take no notice of Nimbus but his scent did pass through it's nose. Blinking it's eyes now awake but still drowsy the dragcorna lifted up it's head and gave out a yawn.
"...meeroow.." It muttered as it yawn.

The small C'bana calided with the Dragagcorn have stoped in mid jump at the singing certer. Jolie on the other hand snacthed down two aplees and tossed one at Veola.

Nimbus spun around, seeing that the dragcorna had awoken and there were two more creatures in the forest as well. In truth, the C'bana had greatly surprised him with their sudden appearance and he ended up knocking an apple off (as he turned around) by mere accident. The small creature gasped at all the sudden appearances and fluttered up into the apple tree so as to hide. He peered out at all of them with great interest; never had he seen creatures like this before!

The dragcorna turned it's head twords the apple tree. Blinking it's blue-green jewel like eyes it got up and sniffed now smelling the C'bana.
"Tis oddish..." It said with a accent and a voice that sounded something like either a boy or a young woman. (Diffacult to tell wether the dragcorna was a he or a she.)

The small C'abana batted at the tufftes on the Dragacorn's tail. The mother cukkled and said,"I'm sorry she's very crouse."

Nimbus stared at the dragcorna. He was certain it had seen him, though with that voice he wondered whether it was a male or female. He decided to lie low for a while and see if any of them posed a threat.
Artemis lifted her head and scented the air. Someone else was there, too, near Nimbus. She could smell it. Climbing to her feet, the tiny Kiira began her small trek to the clearing, wondering if her friend was alright. In a few minutes, she reached where the dragcorna and the C'bana were. She took a deep breath, gulped, and then jumped into the bushes without even peering in to see if Nimbus was alright. Instead of landing gracefully and looking smart, however, the tired Kiira ended up head-butting Jolie's back leg. She sat back. "Oww..."

"Chee!" The dragcorna cried startled and tugged on it's right horse-like ear. "Who what err ahh.." It studdered. Looking rather confused seeing the C'abana and then hearing something from behind.

Artemis rubbed her head and winced. There was a rather large bump there now. She had run into the C'bana's leg harder than she thought she did. "Umm, yes, I think so, thanks. Uhh... sorry. Say-" She looked around the clearing with concern. She knew Nimbus was here, but where? "Have you seen my friend? Small, blue with clouds, uhm..."
"Artemis!" Nimbus shot out of the apple tree. "Are you alright?" He flitted around her head nervously.
Artemis nodded. "Yes. I'm fine." She turned away from him and back to Jolie and her daughter, and to the dragcorna, whom she looked at with interest. "Who -- what -- are you? And I might ask you two the same thing!"
Nimbus rolled his eyes. "Try not to be so rude, Artemis!" he whispered at her. "We barely know them!"
