"Keeper? Who's that?" Artemis inquired. If she hadn't been such a child, she would have felt very naive and silly for asking so much. In fact, she was quite intrigued with the whole story. Her eyes drifted slightly to Leela and for a moment she wondered the story behind the dragcorna. However, with her attention span, she didn't ask about it. ((XD))

Artemis nodded. "Well, then, shouldn't we be going?" she asked. Although the cabin was quite comfortable indeed, she would have liked to start out once more.
"Going? Going where?" Nimbus was caught off-guard. Artemis hadn't even hinted slightly at the possibility of having anywhere to go.
"To find my parents, duh! They gotta be out there somewhere. We still have to find them." Artemis got to her feet and shook herself off. "Are you all coming?" she asked the general public.
Nimbus' ears flickered. He felt awkward; Artemis shouldn't have put them on the spot like that, nor should she have even brought her parents' leaving up until later. It was still too early to get down to the nitty-gritty things.

Leela blinked and shook her head. "I'ma with yousa!" She said to Artemis her tail waging just a bit. A surge of excitment as a possiblitly of an adventure was being presented to the dragcorna. But it only lasted a moment for she began to get the gut wrenching feeling that there may be some horrorible disaster foreshadowing.

"It's settled, then! Let's be gone," Artemis announced, getting to her feet. She walked over to the door and nudged it open with her stub of a muzzle (she was still just a pup!), then made her way outside by herself.
Nimbus turned to the others, still inside. "I'm sorry. Really, you don't have to come if you don't want to. Her parents..." Nimbus' voice dropped to a low tone so Artemis wouldn't possibly be able to hear him. "...I think her parents might have died. We've been searching for so long... I've been searching for so long... even before she could talk or open her eyes... And yet I've found nothing." Nimbus heaved a rather depressed sigh. "I'm just letting you know; it could be a fruitless search. Now, with that said... those who want to come, just follow us. We've searched it before, but I think we should head west of the river... The paranormal things like portals and such usually open up there."

Leela made a whimpering sound in sympathy with Artemis and Nimbus. “Tis sad.” She muttered lowering her head. But her solemn mood only lasted for a moment. “But’in there a still is hope...yesin there’in bea o’small chance but tis worth it. Tis shame nota try’in.”
The dragcorna blinked why all of a sudden she was giving out fruity philosophical wisdom? And why was her accent had suddenly changed?

Nimbus tilted his head at Leela's sudden change of accent, but decided not to ask about it. He smiled at her. "I suppose you're right. Many thanks for coming along, Leela. Let's be going, then..." He turned and fluttered outside, catching up with Artemis (who had, by now, gotten many yards ahead of them all).
"There you are, Nimbus! I can't remember the way to the river..."
Nimbus bit his lip. "Uhh... it's... that way." But truth be told, he had forgotten as well...

The dragcorna trailed behind Nimbus her wings spread out alnog with her tail wings making her look like kite (or a butterfly). Picking up their conversation with her horse like ears she spoke up.
"Where'in the river? I'lla fly higher and finda outs."
Flaping her wings the dragcorna headed upwards looking about her.
