Well, as you may or may not know she is gone. In teh Missionary Training Center (MTC) and all. I miss her but I'm very excited for her. In all the craziness of packing and family and friends this past weekend she didn't have time to finish C'bana growings. Most are sketched and I think I might be allowd to show you those if you'd like. (Need to ok it with Pegs) She didn't really tell me what she wanted me to do. Though I'm sure she does intend to finish them...When she gets back...<.<....>.>.... Oh! And really happy news, if you guys want to send her letters but don't have the money to pay for stamps there is a nice free alternative at least while she's in the MTC. Dearelder.com If you choose to use this or even want to just write her a normal letter let me know via PM.  It's only free while she's in the MTC, you can send letters via dearelder.com once she's out as well but it's the price of a stamp so you may as well write a real letter with a pen and such. It was still a good Christmas so no worries. Oh! A a lil' new tid bit that I got yesterday in my letter from her is this....Her approximate return date is as follows: 7/7/10 Can anyone guess why that would make me so happy? *random* |

Ok...Sooo...I think Pega really wanted me to make a new thread for this but...I didn't think I should considering this thread is still about. Annnnyyywwwaaayyysss...I've got a little somit directly from the Pegins, via a letter she wrote to me on the 22nd. Joyful, right? Sooo.....Here we go. x3 Hola from Pega!
¡Hola amigas! Greetings from the MTC! First of all, I’d like to say sorry for not finishing your C’bana growths! =( If you’d like to see what/how far I got, Stormie may be willing to show you. I didn’t bring my sketchbook, because I didn’t have space. =( But if you want to write, I’ll defiantly at/least/ send you a doodle. Ask Stormie and she should have my addresses. So awesome to hear from her! She didn't say much about how she was enjoying it, but I hope she's having fun and isn't feeling too homesick! ^__^

Yay! I'm super happy that she got the Christmas card. I felt uber-sad for her being away from her family for Christmas.
And sign me up for the e-mail updates. I think going to South America for a chunk of time with a purpose - whether it's a mission, the foreign legion, or any kind of volunteer work - is fascinating.

My mom grew up in Argentina, so it was pretty neat when Silvanon went there. Chile is close, but isn't the same thing *g*
