I noticed for a while that my avatar wasn't showing up, but never really took the time to look into why. Turns out AOL has shut down the space they made available to their members WITHOUT TELLING THEM FIRST!!! Considering that they were offering a measly 5MB of space per screename...ah well, glad I outgrew it and moved away from there ages ago. But I kind of like my old redirect page I had there ^.^ I know there are sites out there still linking to my old page. Though Geocities hasn't sent me any notifications or anything either. They haven't shut down yet, but other than that message when you sign in, when do they intend on telling their members? I feel sorry for the people on AOL who didn't know and just suddenly had their whole website wiped out without warning. A lot of people don't create their pages offline first, like I do, so they didn't have backups

That's pretty awful customer service. I hope a lot of AOL users pitch a fit,
