Something I found out at work that I wanted to share with everyone here.
Alt tags no longer work in IE8. If you want your images to have mouse over text you'll need to also add a "title" tag to your images to get that to show in this latest internet explorer version.
I found this of interest to me as I will sometimes only put the creature's id or name meaning in the alt tag for ones that don't require a stats table.
