Hello everyone, let me introduce myself for those that don't know me. I am AirRaiser, or AR for short. I used to frequent the board back in it hey day, back when cyberpets were the thing to do!
Time has passed, people have left, and cyberpets seem to just be a distant fairy tail. With the introduction of places like Pony Island and the fall of free web sites like Geocities, this place has basicly fallen by the way side and all but died of life.
I know I'm only one person, but maybe, just maybe I can try to bring a little life back in to this place. I find myself needing things to draw, but lack the motivation or inspriation at times. So why not get back to my roots!
I am wanting to get back into drawing cyber pets! Now here's where people come in. I'm typing this on my phone so I lack samples of my work. What I need is input, keep in mind everything I draw is unique, I don't do recolorings of the same pose.
What kind of species would you like to see? (Canine, feline, hybred, ect.)
Would you like it theme based? (IE elements, genetic, something else)
Would you prefer traditional or digital coloring? (I work with colored pencils, and vectors in photoshop. Samples when I get to my comp)
And anything else you can think of.
Now I don't have a web page, I would just set up a proboard account for info, parents lists, rules and such. But all adoptions would be in the Orchard. All adoptions would be done old school! I would have openings once a month for a set amount. As well as every so often outlines that can be customly colored. At least one person needs to sign up, other wise what's the point.

Hi, AirRaiser! I'm not sure if I've spoken to you directly before, but I've definitely seen you around before! Haha, that was definitely a long time ago. I'm so glad the old school adoptable love is still alive in some people!
Honestly, I would love anything that you come up with. I don't really have a preference, but traditional colouring is rare these days, so I'd love to see some?

So here are some samples of my work. Everything I draw is done with paper and pencil, even the digital work. You had those wolves, right? I had some. I liked them.  Would you like it theme based? I don't really like element stuff. :/ Too overdone. Otherwise, whatev. So how does some sort of wolf Hybred sound? Maybe if other people see this they can make suggestions.
I'd like to retired any old adoptable critters, though I may offer some breedings every so often :3 least till I get something new up and going.

Hey AR! Haven't talked to you in awhile. I might be interested in something, and it might be predictable. XD
What kind of species would you like to see?: Dragons, dinosaurs, and reptile-y things are my favourite.
Would you like it theme based?: I don't mind elements or genetics, however I can assure you I will not attempt to decipher any real genetic terms and just throw things together at random. XD
Would you prefer traditional or digital coloring?: I like both of your styles!
And anything else you can think of: All the things.

Okay so I haven't done this in a while, so my brain is kinda going in over drive with excitement!
Species: Wologon (Wolf Dragon)
Family Group: I'm open for suggestions
If you've ever read "Dragon Riders Of Pern" books I'm doing them based on colors. Some colors are more common some are rare, and each color has a particular trait or traits that's only found in that color.
I'm still working info out.

I think it sounds super awesome sauce. I have been working on having stamina to do C'bana again. I want to make it more optional to page them, but still give special stuff to those who do... although... are there any free websites on the internet anymore? :/ 'Twould be unfair if it had to cost real money. |

Yeah, I was wondering how people would page them.
And I'm hopping that when I start this up, more people will see it and be like OMFG! Seems like everyone who tries, gives up due to lack of activity. I'm a persistence little critter :3
Hopefully by the time I figure everything out we might be able to find a simple way to page stuff.

I'd love to do some adoptions again! Samanayrs are still going, and there are the occasional Serian (neither through the Orchard though) but other than that I haven't seen much about  I don't have a problem with posting crits, since I have my own site hosting...maybe if there is nothing else, someone could contact Silvanon and ask if a new section of the Orchard could be created. People would have their own thread (i.e. their "site") and each thread would have posts (i.e. site pages). I think there are definitely image hosting sites out there that are free? People won't be able to do fancy backgrounds in their posts, but they can add text and other images like they would on a normal site? Just an idea. Really, I'm good with anything at this point. ^_^
Would you like it theme based? I don't think it would need to be, unless it'd make it more fun for you...I do kind of miss some of the older Mendelian-genetics style adoptables though. And Elements can end up with some gorgeous creatures... *apparently trying to be as vague and unhelpful as possible*

I think there are a few websites with free hosting yet, if people wanted to page things; I used ByetHost after Geocities went down, and it's been sufficient for the little I've needed it. ^^ I'm sure there are some better ones out there too, but I've been too lazy to look.

In response to SunBlind, I've contacted Silv on Secundi.net. So we'll have to see if we can get a 'boarding area' of sorts, for people to keep pets like I've seen on other adoptable sites ^__^

Okay so cons done and over, next ones no till October. So this means I'm free to work on my species! I have the basic color infomation written up, and working on a breeding group/ samples. What I'm thinking of doing is offering one egg for people to try for, and for fun a breeding/redraw of one of my old critters.
I'm going to see about setting up a guest book for sign ups, maybe if someone who knows how, can make one that sets up like a parents list. Or use a spread sheet of some sort. So yeah, keep an eye out I'll be posting them some time next week.
