SCROLL DOWN FOR HANDDRAWN STUFFSSS ty! <3 Well Laviee gave me a poke, and I must say it's nice to see a few people here again C: I really don't have the time to be doing something as big as the Soul Imps, I apologise to those that saw them and adopted x3 However since this is still a pretty small community, I might be okay with doing a forum based tiny pixel pet for fun. I just can't stay away xD There wouldn't be a site, I don't have time for that either, instead I will make a master post in Boarding for directories, info etc. And I'm happy for pets to be housed in the boarding forum too, but of course put them on your site if you wish. They're tiny flame horses, breedable and stuff. I'll go a bit more in depth if there's interest. *plops*  Showing - Mare (Top left)/Stallion (Rearing)/Foal (Prancing)/Newborn(Laying) Showing Markings - Points, Stripes, Dun Showing Breeding Thingy - Bonfire Any mutation and marking suggestions welcomed. And general anything at all, do you want one? x3 *slinks away again* |

Heeyyy, question for y'all stalkers and such. What would you like to see as handdrawn critters? Like the beautimus C'bana that are available, uniquely drawn scanned in. I know I'm not the only one contemplating making some at the minute xD I doodled a thing.  Would be smaller when finished >.> And I've done coloured pencils before with Faudeer;    Hrmm. So, any feedback? ^__^ What would you want in a handdrawn to make it feel unique, or perhaps something from way back when you'd like to see again? Not necessarily just the art but the way the critter works etc I'm still running the Flickers either way because colouring a few pixels is easy peasy and quick xD *flees* |

Well, I have to say that cuteness is always a factor, but I can tell by your flickers and Faudeer--- (And that ridiculously cute octopus) that you've got that part DOWN. Usually I like critters with interesting concepts behind them-- your soul imps caught my attention with that. But The coolest thing for me about handdrawn adopts are the different poses! I actually have to stop and remind myself of that pretty often and try fun and interesting poses!
Erm... also... History and interesting naming techniques have been fun in the past, like with Adlana's Nameless forest critters.

Aaw thank you  As for backstories, if I went with the doodle critter, I was thinking of them being an exotic jungle pet. A sort of substitute for dogs or cats for the tribes of (humans/elves?) in rainforests. Different classes, for example the standard types a commoner would have to help with housework, or the more purebreed prized show types. I've always liked unique naming techniques. Like with the Faudeer they had to be named similar to 'Something of the Something Something' . I don't think I can quite go completely Pantied Unicorns and make my own language for names though xD I like 'Name the Adjective' though maybe? |

A new language can be annoying for the adopter too, having to wait for names to be translated unless the pet already came with a name.
I kind of like the idea of the tribal pet, that's an interesting twist. Hehe, you could have pets that elves might keep, but should also have some ogre or goblin pets, it might be fun coming up with the different forms different races would keep. Fairy, pixie, etc..
I know I've seen your Faudeer before, don't quite recall if I've adopted one or not XD

Hmmn...
Kinda reminds me of an ostrich with his birdish face and long neck... but his coloration reminds me of a fox.
No name ideas here... ^^;

Heeehe, it does indeed look like a Grumphbeast...sounds and looks like something out of a Dr. Seuss book xD And it makes you think Grump at first, but then you see how happy looking it is you realize it is really a Grumph, that h is very important.
