Those stories are all so awesome! Makes mine seem rather mundane. It was about a year after we had gotten a compooter, so it would be just a year ago and a couple of months. Well, I had this astronomy project and I had to look up stars. Well I got into these stars taht were still named in Latin and guess what I ran in to? Arriakis meant dancer in latin and was in the constellation Draco or Dragon...I just popped off the s and started calling myself Arriaki.

Hehe.... mine is un-original, except...

Pega was a character in a book I wrote in 2-grade-ish, only she wasn't named until 5th grade-ish. Anyhow, she was a winged unicorn, and I was like, "How can I combine the words Pegasus and Unicorn? I thought of Pegahorn. So that became Pega's name. Later, when I realised other people in the world had made "unicorns with wings" and called them unisus, I found I liked that more than Pegahorn, and that Pegahorn was not namelike or flowy at all, so I shortened it to Pega and made her last name Pegahorn. Later, I decided Pega was way too common a name on the internet, so I lengthened it to Pegalyn... and yes, in the interest of my imaginative little fifth grade mind, her last name is still Pegahorn...

... but Pegalyn is much too formal, so I decided to go back to Pega. Her full name is still Pegalyn, but... *shrug* Tha's my story!

Mine lets see...Well it would have been Storm but Pega said there was alreadys omeone by that name so i took my real name Michelle and took elle off and put it on Storm+elle=Stormelle! XD

Kislah comes from a character in a book I read a long time ago..."Kisla" was this psychotic little girl that talked to her father's ghost and had her own private army of androids and traded materials on the black market and hunted people down. And I was like "yeeeah, I like her." So I picked that. Added an h on the end for good measure, and there ya go.

When I first came online, over at the Crystal Palace, I used the alias "Epona" for awhile. Epona was a celtic goddes of horses (and secondarily, death), if I remember right. People called me Eppie :D I loved that name but I changed it for a lot of different reasons. Sometimes I wish I hadn't. Most of the time I'm glad I did. But some people from there never got over the change and still call me Epona, heh. *glomps on Skeef* :P

Oh, and my gaia username is shadesofgrey. Because people were stalking my "Kislah" account and I was like, ";__; *mustchange*" so I did. No more stalkers :D

"Leela" was the name of a person in a British sci-fi tv series called "Doctor Who."
Which was my favorite show.
(Though I read the books WAY before I ever saw the moives.)

Anyway Leela was something like Xena Warrior Princess and was my favorite character. Though I moslty like the name Leela sounded so I decided to use it.

Feyna is another name I use and I don't know exactly where I got the idea other then if you take out the "F" you get the name of my favorite singer. So prehapes that is where I got the idea.

Myrror just happened to be my 'main' character in my head (I had quite a few, they rotated) when I first 'discovered' the internet, and that's the name I chose.

The character Myrror was first created as an X-men fan character. The codename came from her power--she has a anti-mutant force field around her, just a hairswidth above her skin. Any mutant powers would just bounce off her...like light off a mirror. ^^;

The dragon part came later, and she could shift form by the time I found the Excite Dragon Boards (now gone), though she wasn't very good at it, and had little control over it. Alot of character development came through various roleplay threads and such.

Mine came from Beast wars the falcon character AirRazor. She was my favorite, oh yes very long description ^-^ MUAHAHHA

I just realized I spelled it with a typo in my first post...*Sweat drop*. It's been a while since I've used it, me thinks.

Usorokoeamo is the correct spelling.

Not sure if you know anything about Gundam Wing but I was in a crazy Gundam Wing phase when I came up with that name. That might be a hint.

Edit: BTW, the "Uso" thing is actually coincidental since I didn't know when I created the name. I wasn't thinking about how people would abbreviate it. Someone once pointed that out to me but by then the name was so engraved into my character that I didn't want to change it. XD
