Thanks everyone ^_^
Thus far these pups all seem to be doing fine! I'll definately be keeping a close eye on them, though.

*laughs* I honestly think gerbil babies are pretty ugly when they're born. But, very soon they'll get fuzzy & cute! ^^

Most lil critters like that are born blind and hairless. Not pigs though, man, I've seen pigs that are just a few hours old and already their eyes are open and they have fur. No wonder it's hard for the pig mums.
I used to breed hamsters, we kept cages all over the place, but once my last few hamsters passed on, I ended up getting pigs. Both boars though, Skunk's unmanned, and Ferdinand's not, but I don't have females anyway, and since Ferdi's a rescue pig (part of an unplanned litter that got dumped at the shelter) I can't breed anyway.

^__^ Sarnah~ Not yet. I'll be able to tell at about 7 days old. I do know, however, that I have 3 ruby eyed and 7 black eyed. Raven~ Yeah, new born baby guinea pigs are the cutest thing ever! I used to breed piggies. I won't any more, though. There's a lot of info about it on the net now, and it's really risky to breed pigs. Wish I could have some, though. *misses her piggies*

*evil laugh* Soon I will have all the world breeding rodents! Seriously, though, it's way fun. I'd recommend it to you, Leafy. ^_^ (Although I recommend gerbils over rats, 'cuz that's what I have. )
