Anyways I'm bored and wanted to rp dragons...Then all of a sudden the idea to have it similar to her dragon series popped into my head. (( the three books are Dragon's Blood Heart's Blood and A Sending of Dragons )) Anyways it'd be simlar to them in the fact that there would be pit dragons and pet dragons and so on...Anyways mainly it would be about some random younge dragon trainers os something. Give me ideas if you'd be intrested.

OMG, I love that series. So much better than Pern. I had them almost memorized at one point. And I cried for like half an hour the first time I read book 2. I'd totally do some Austar IV RPing..

They're usually in the children's section of the book store, though they're really classified as "young adult." And yes!! Come play with us!!
Really, all the basics you have to know is that Austar IV was a penal colony, like Australia, and all the descendents of the original convicts have a double K in their names. Masters, descended from the wardens, don't. There is a slave system in place on Austar IV; slaves wear a "bond bag" around their necks. When the bag is full of coins they have earned one way or the other, they can cash it in for their freedom. Tension between slaves and masters has the planet on the verge of revolution. Um, what else. Oh, yeah. The dragons. Dragons are the main commerce. Pit dragons, kind of like a cock fight, bring in revenue from breeding, ticket sales, etc. While still hatchlings, dragons not fierce enough to be fighters can either be "fixed," (at which point they stay small enough to be lap pets) or culled for meat. Um, they do breathe fire, they have hollow bones for flight, but cannot be ridden. They are sentient to a point; people with enough empathy towards dragons, usually their trainers, can sort of feel or sense the emotions and feelings of dragons in the form of color schemes. Oh, and dragons' blood burns hot enough to scar you if you get touched by it when it's first shed. Other than that, don't go outside at night. Austar IV is mostly desert and when the sun goes down, planet temperature gets cold enough to kill you.
