Guppy Babies.

Our female guppy had babies today! ^_^ We've got lots of little guppy babies in a baby net now! *happy*

Oh Congratz!! ^__^ *bounces* baby fishes are great. ;D

*grins* Yeah! It's so fun! Little bitty fishies. Their tails are all translucent so they look like little round swimming things with big eyes. ^_^

They're pretty small but actually bigger than I was imagining they'd be.

Heh. Reminds me of the time my Swordtail had babies. We went to the fish store, and I wanted this really fat-looking orange Swordtail. And then the next day my mom was looking at her and said that we had baby fish.

*laughs* Oh yeah, I remember how mine looked....hehee nothing but translucent skin, tiny bones and big eyes. ^_^

*s* yeah...they come out a fair size...they grow fast too...tomorrow and tomorrow they'll be bigger. *bounce*

Raven~Oh, what a fun surprise! That happened to me once with guinea pigs. I got a female for Christmas, and on New Years Day she had three babies. "Santa" had purchased her a fair while before christmas and then kept her hidden, so he didn't know she was expecting when he got her. ^_^

Lumi~ Yeah, it's gonna be fun to watch them grow. Heh, our little dannios are already a lot bigger than when we got them. I wonder how old they are? They're about the length of the tip of my finger, now.

Sure, I'll keep you posted. Heh, I just went out & bought some baby fishie food to feed them.

A month, huh? That's probably about right. ^_^

Thats good. That'll help them stay healthy and grow big, and pretty.

Eegads. xD Congrats, Silv. They're so adorable when they're tiny. ^^

Just a warning, though. Coming from experience, guppies can be quite a handfull. Once they start breeding, they don't stop, and it can become a little troublesome to take care of so many babies. T_T;

Whenever you get too many, a good idea would be to give some to a nearby pet-store, if they accept. Most do. ^_^

Sorry, don't want to make the idea of owning guppies sound stressful - I just thought you might like to know for when the time comes when you might need to 'lighten the load,' so to speak. n_n

Anyways, have fun with them! ^_^

Lumi~ Yup, they're gonna grow big & strong. I think Conrad tried to take some pictures without much success, but then he's pickier than I am about photos. I'll give it a go when the babies get a bit bigger.

StickWitch~ Yeah, I know that's definately good advice. We actually bought a seperate aquarium just to put the babies we want to keep in, but I've also been scoping out local pet stores. Hopefully we won't have to worry about giving away babies just yet, but I can definately see it comming.

Ohoo..Little baby fishes! Did Pega tell you people about our little babie Mollies? One of them died just on monday or tuseday but their soooooo cute. I had a friend who got babie gupes but then the female died and all the babies were boys. XD I think she figgred that when she didn't get more. XD
