There are some people near us that raise Quarter Horses and every year we either go out to the fields to see the foals or go to the auction, and this year we got out to the fields. I took a bunch of pictures and just wanted to share a few :)

Indigo Moon: You moved? Anywhere near the northwest per chance? I have a show horse that I might be leasing or possibly selling this fall. Does western, huntseat, jumping, dressage, trail, showmanship, halter, and driving. Anything I'm forgetting? Anyways, yah. He is an egyption bred arabian.

Hehe. 19 years, and a pony has always been at the top of my Christmas list. Still is. Though I might be getting one of the schoolhorses I'm insanely attached to, when the barn owner downsizes and retires a bunch. He's a sweet old Hanoverian

MythHorse: No. *pats* I moved when I was five... I had three horses, a paint, a quarter horse, and a quarter horse/appaloosa the won the NY National Barrel Racing Championship. I also had a Shetland Pony... The horses died, but the pny we had to sell... I miss having a horse.

I really want another horse... Eventually I'll get one... I just know I will, even if I'm 72 and can't ride anymore...

I should take some pictures of the pretties that I ride at horse-back riding ;D They've all come from abused homes, and our horse-back riding instructor retrains them to be riding horses so they are all happy now ;D Some of them have scars or sway-backs, but they are all super-super sweet.

Eee, look at the look on that one's face!
I always put "pony" on my mama-in-law's shopping list, but she still hasn't gotten me one. I was thinking about asking Santa, but if he's ignoring you guys on the pony issue, I guess he'd probably turn me down, too.
