Speaking of Ren Faires, for anyone over the age of 15 in the NJ/NY ish area (DAWBY!) there's a... erm... 'special' RenFaire on Febuary 11 at the Expo Center in Edison. RIGHT near my school. Woot. It's... extra dirty, hence the age limit. Leafy, a shame you don't live closer! But yeah, if anyone (DAWBY) is going, let me know, cuz I'll be there. Mmm, rennies.

I'm a proud Canadian ;_____;
You guys got me looking at the Dragon Con website, and hot ***! I really want to go there now. I like the fact that to get in the art show you have to be passed by a panel of judges XD It's the big time!

Heee! www.wickedfaire.com has all the info Sources tell me that part of the plot includes a same-gender wedding, among other things... so yeah. Not for the, erm, faint of... mind? lol. And my roommates are totally going to kill me, because a varying number of people somewhere nearish to 6 may be crashing at my place afterwards. Teehee. My school is in the town over. Erm, and I don't think I mentioned, Edison is in NJ, not NY. hehe.

Mall of America is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota And a link for the Ren Fest renaissancefest.com/MRF/homeframeset.htm(Ren Fest also has a listing of local hotels that sponsor, so any of those would be a good pick to stay at should we choose this venue)

...hmmm... I think Saturnalia's hinting something at me.
Edison??? Duuuuuuude... I used to live in Metuchen!! Them's my HAUNTS!!
My take on a meeting: someone mentioned getting a table at an art show/convention. Honestly, that's probably the most logical and workable idea I've heard yet, and the one with which the most parents will be comfortable. Of course, for non draw-ers (I don't draw much at ALL), we wouldn't have stuff to show, but still. I think our table could be about cyberpetting, a whole new land in the world of art and one that many people don't see.
