Woot, so... yeah. Today I was supposed to substitute for a second grade class and I got all sorts of excited and drove aaalll the way out there before they told me someone else got the job. So I'm a little sad, but I'm awake and I need to do something with all this energy. Really, I've just really been looking forward to doing a couple C'bana before the summer's out. So how should I do it?

Yee! ^^ I've been good. Going crazy with Education classes, but summer's here and there's a glimmer at the end of the tunnel.

I'm glad to hear that. ^_^ Yikes, when do your classes end? What level of education do you think you're going to be going into, and for what subject? My brother wants to do elementary education and I have a friend who is going to do vocal music education.

You must be a lot more patient than I am. My mum is a kindergarten teacher and I have no idea how she does it. ^_^; Good luck with your teaching career, though. I think you would be a fun teacher to have.

^^ That's what everyone says. I just love the kids. I sometimes feel like I'm still their age. XD
It's pretty funny, sometimes my friends just laugh at things I do because it apparently reminds them of their elementary teachers. I'm not sure why. :OP

Well you seem like you have the energy, humor, and over-all fun-ness of an elementary teacher. So I have no doubt you'll not only do a good job, but probably enjoy it as well.

Well I'm a creative writing major with a minor in East Asian studies, but I haven't really found a focus yet. Recently I volunteered to help Nippon Project which is a small non-profit project online that focuses on bringing information on Japanese Rock to different countries other than Japan. I'm helping to maintain the English part of the site. I'm going to see how that goes and maybe it'll give me an idea of what I want to do.

Sweet! I'm taking an intermediate fiction writting class for fun next semester, and I'm hoping to keep taking creative writing courses online for awhile. I don't know a whole lot about East Asia, but it is an intriguing part of the world, to be sure. I have some friends from Japan... well, sort of. Their fathers are stationed there with the millitary, but they came here to school. They're pretty cool guys and seem to thing Japan is pretty cool, too.

Cool! So far I'm pretty happy with my creative writing major. I think the classes are fun and it's nice to hear other people's fiction too.
I don't know much about East Asia yet either, but I guess that's what my classes are for. XP I was born in Korea, though, and I visited China last year. Hopefully I'll get more chances to travel over there. I'm hoping to study abroad in Japan my senior year of college.

I love writing, so I figured, why not take a class or two to polish my highly UNrefined skills? I thoroughly enjoyed intro to creative writing last year and met a lot of cool people, so I'm hoping this class will be fun, too. We'll see what happens, though. I'm adding another semester on to my college career just by taking this class, so I'm hoping its a leap of faith I'll be glad for later.
Really? That's cool! Sometimes I wish I knew more about my ancestors, but a lot of tradition in Northern Europe really doesn't exist anymore. At least, nothing much different from America for the most part. Study Abroad has always sounded neat to me, but I'm not sure where I'd want to go.
