Sunlight glints off the golden pinto pattern of the filly's glossy coat and becomes trapped in her dark mane and thick tail. Too old to be a filly, really, but youth and naivity make it hard for her to imagine herself mature enough to be a mare. Her name is Dieavafaoc'path, "Step Gracefully," and indeed, she picks her way through the grass without crushing so much as a clover. She has had little contact with others of her kind before now, and a craving for companionship tempts her to seek out the unknown and whomever waits for her there.

A stalluion sits in the shade of a tree not to far off. His blue and black coat caching the light of the sun. His tanish mane seeps over his face as he stands up. He opens his eyes and folds his wings smiling up at he sun as he enjoys beging here. He missed being with the fellow paints of his realm but beging alone was good aswell. Atleast he was away from them for a bit. His name is Leviish'lisen meaning Velvet Midnight. He looks up and over to see Dieavafaoc' coming over. (( www.geocities.com/stormie_unisus/paint1.html ))

Dieava stops, startled. She has never seen wings on anything but a bird; certainly never on a creature that otherwise resembles her own kind.

There was another here, he often came to the orchard just to relax in the sun or the shade of the big trees. The golden feathers of his wings gleamed warmly, as did the rich brown of his mane and tail. Ayrandan'hala was a big unicorn, very hard to miss standing out in the grass like he is. Despite his size gentleness radiated from him and his dark eyes are soft and kind. Ayr was alittle older and alittle wiser, but there was no bitterness and he still enjoyed meeting others just as much as he always had. The glints of orange shimmering from the mare's coat catch Ayr's attention and he turns his head in the direction of the truely graceful Dieavafaoc'path. Ears perk with interest and curiosity as to who this lovely lady could be. "Sella li!" he calls to her, voice warm and friendly with a deep tone to match his appearance. "I am Ayrandan'hala." www.angelfire.com/me4/darkunicorns/Ayr.html(( edits ooh drats I wasn't fast enough XD *lol* ))

Leviish smiled and troted over, " I am Leviish'lisen. Who may you be?" he nodded his head in graeting aming his horn at the ground to be sure it hurt nothing.

"Sella li," Dieava chimes softly.
She takes a shy, involuntary half step backwards, not sure what to make of the approach of two strange stallions.
Blushing slightly, she remembers her manners. "My name is Dieavafaoc'path. Sella li, Leviish'lisen; Ayrandan'hala.

Ayr just smiles and dips is head politely, not moving from his spot. He didn't wish to frighten her. "It is a pleasure to meet you Dieavafaoc'path. Call me Ayr it is much easier." ^-^
He gives the blue stallion a polite nod, "Nice to meet you as well."

Dieava grins a little in spite of herself; friendliness is contagious for all species.
"Ayr. It is easier. And please, no one ever calls me anything but Dieava." She directs this last bit to both stallions.

He smiles, "Dieava...such a lovely name, it suits you. Unlike my name," here he chuckles, swishing his tail in amusement. "It means Wild Candy Blossom." Ayr didn't seem at all bothered by his name though, he had that confidence which allowed him to carry off anything he wished.
"Your first time here in the Orchard I presume?" Ayr used his horn in a sweeping motion to indicate the Orchard.

The young paint quashes the urge to giggle, her amusement at the name only manifesting in the relexive swishing of her long tail.
She tilts her fine-boned head and frowns slightly. "True, I've never been to the Orchard. I've never really been anywhere before."

He grins, "You can laugh if you like, it won't offend me. I was told that I was supposed to be a filly which is why I got the name and it couldn't be changed once they found out I was a colt. Luckly, Ayr isn't so bad."
Ayr nods having guessed as much, "That is all right though. You're young and have lots of time to explore the worlds around us." the huge stallion had done much the same in his younger days.

"You don't look much like a filly," says Dieava dryly. "But I like 'Ayr.'"
She twitches a gnat off her ear. "It seems like a nice place here. It's just odd having a new home, having to meet new people, go to new places. Does everyone here have families nearby?."

Because he was a stallion, Ayr couldn't resist posing alittle, arching his neck and throwing out his chest a bit. Then he flared his giant golden brown wings for a moment before settling back down to normal. "Nope, not at all." he chuckles. "Thanks."
Ayr nods, "It is a nice place, very big really. I understand that...must be strange to be leaving for a new place when you're grown up. I grew up from a colt in my current home so it was alittle easier to get used to." he pauses thoughtfully. "No, not everyone does, a few though. I have family nearby and in all kinds of places, but I know quite a few paints who don't."

Leviish smiles as he listens to them, " True it is odd. I did not grow up where I know live althought the paints there are quite nice." he grins as a younge mare with a flowing pink mane approches. Her ears prick as she spots Ayr, "Daddy!" she say running over and nugding him playful. Leviish lauges and lays down. He closes his eyes. He prefured his own sandy home but the orchard was nice. The younge mare looks over at Dieavafaoc'path and blushes slightly, " I'm Ethen'li'filan." (( www.geocities.com/stormie_unisus/paint.html ))

Ayr beams at his daughter, "Ethen!" and he snugs her under his chin for a moment. How his baby had grown up so fast! As they all did. "You look beautiful!" he compliments her softly, he is very proud of his children.
He introduces Dieava to her, "Ethen this is Dieavafaoc'path. Dieava this is my youngest daughter." Ayr chuckles, "I do happen to be one of the ones with alot of family, and they do tend to pop up everywhere like daisys." it is quite obvious that Ayr is happy to see his foal.
