Flis troted happily next to Kilajoanan glaring ever so often at Verin.
Verin swished his long fluffy curling tail and passed in thought, " Not sure..I don't really care..I kind of think left though.."
Flis sighed and looked at each path, " Sense Verins mother wouldn;t forgive me if I said split up and Iwnet the oposite of Verin I'd have to say left.."

"Yes!" triumphs Garama. "Left it is!"
She charges up the higher path, her clear, high voice growing softer as she disappears around the bend.
"Ferrets! Ferrets!
Hooray for ferrets!
They bite like the dickons
and draw blood, I reckons,
but I say it's worth it
to kidnap a ferret
Cuz tamed ferret soldiers
Could break through these boulders!"
Kilajoanan frowns and pauses in midstride. "Boulders?"

As they turn around the corner after Garama, they see a huge wall of boulders. Each bolder is around 4 feet wide and very thick. "Great, now what do we do?" Kado asks. They look around for something but don't see anything. "Should we turn back? Or should we try to break down the wall?" Kado asked, "I think that this wall was built to potect something. I'm in favor of finding a way around it."

Flis sat silently unsure on what to say.
Verin sighed and swished his tail wishing he had inhareted his fathers wings but he agreed, " Yeay lets find a way around it."

"Hmmm..." Kado said inspecting the wall, "I wonder if there is a secret door or something that would let us through." Tapping with his hoof, he started looking around the wall. Noticing that everyone else was starting at him he said, "Come on! Let's try to find a way through."

"Those crafty ferrets," says Garama crankily. "They've outwitted me again."
"Oh, hush, Garama," huffs Kilajoanan as he tries to pry apart two promising looking boulders. "No one cares about your stupid ferrets. Now get over here and help."
The brown and white mare looks for a moment like she might cry. "Well, thanks a lot. And you're pretty stupid, too! Look at you trying to break through the wall. Why don't we just find the key to this door?"
In a moment, Kilajoanan is at her side. "C'mere, guys. The daft filly went and found it. But it's locked. Any clue where we'd find a key?"

Flis had dissappeared for a few moment and when she returned she had a small shinny thing in her mouth. She spit it out, " Have no clue what this is but it tastes really bad.." she said spitting to get the flavor out of her mouth.
Verin smurked and kneeled looking at the small olden object, " Yep..Right here.." he said picking it up in his teeth and going twored the lock to unlock it.

Kado, still a little ways off was trying to find a way through the wall. "Hey, maybe there is a door somewhere...." he said. Then he saw them opening a door with a key. "Ok then," he said, "that was fast." He smiled sheepishly.

Flis seemed to srug, " It was under one of my hooves when I walked around over there, ' she said nodding her head twored where she'd come from.
Verin quikly unlocked the door and spit out the key, " Man that tastes bad.."

Kilajoanan eagerly pokes his horn in to see what's on the other side of the heavy door.
"Woah, dude," he sputters rearing out immediately. "I am NOT going in there. It's dark!! Like, really dark!"
Garama shoves her way past her meadow-mate to look for herself.
"Oy, very dark," she agrees. "Hello!! Hello!! Hello!! Echo!! Echo!!"
She pulls herself out with a pleased look on her face. "It's a tunnel!"

"Let's check it out," Kado said, recovering from another one of his stupid moments. He started into the tunnel, and came out with a sneeze. "It's dusty in there," he said. "Do one of you want to go first?" he asked.

Flis cocked her head and without really hesitating troted in and didn't stop. She held her head high and didn't bother looking back.
Verin rolled his eyes, 'That's Flis for ya.." he said sighing slightly and following her.

Garama follows Flis'yev without ceremony. Kilajoanan eyes the fillies with new respect, but hesitates for a moment, protesting weakly, "But how will we see - ?"
He follows reluctantly.

Traveling through the tunnel, Kado stepped on something hard. He picked it up, so he could look at it in the light outside the tunnel. "Hey guys, I think I found something!" he said, coming out into the light. It was a red jewel, shimmering different reds and pinks. "What could it be?" he asked them.
