Forest Meetings (Foxfliis)

The foxflii called Amandine stopped up short, ignoring the complaint from her companion. She craned her neck, looking up over the hill and the still distant figures of the other foxflii.

"Oh. Hey, look, Nocti," she said curiously. "We have visitors from another clan, it seems."

She bounded forwarded enthusiastically. "Hey! Hey! Hi, everyone!"

Elsewhere, the young priestess of Rajhillu turned her head toward the trees, sensing approaching pawsteps.

Ionanili eyed the two other foxfliis with a curious, bright eye. The green one seemed wise, respectful almost. The female...she smiled wryly. Most likely the female was a younger foxflii....sometimes they could be oblivous. "Greetings, strangers. I'm Ionanili, alpha female of Tvisha Melanion. By any means, feel free to look at the stars from here, but prey is scarce. Unless you're prey is scarce too, I ask that you do not hunt while here." She paused while the other foxfliis darted in. "Hello?"

Amandine tossed her head, making her earrings jingle.

"Feh," she sniffed. "As if I'd hunt on the day of the eclipse.

The other foxflii gave her a good kick with her hindleg. "Tact is not Amandine's strong point," she said ruefully. "I'm Noctivaga. Have you come for the festival?"

Celeste smiled faintly as a large male stepped cautiously into the clearing.

"Hello, Extenebrae," she said softly.

The dark furred male dipped his head and asked gruffly, "Are you nearly ready, priestess?"

A strange-looking (to say the least) young varg steps out of the woods quite abruptly, a rather crooked smile plastered to his face. "Oh, don't mind me, mortals. For once, I'm not here to cause trouble... Just a spectator." He gives a wholly unconvincing grin, then turns to face Zaligan. " 'Ello Zaligan, my boy. How's mortal life treatin' ya?"

I've decided that Zaligan can be one of the GodChildren... since he and his "pop" here share such a resemblance Wether or not he knows he's Femmy's son... is up to you Indi ^.^ ))

"Sweet Merciful Rajhillu!" gasped Amandine, gaping at the appearance of the crafty trouble-making deity. "Well, they're just all coming out of the woodwork now!"

Noctivaga groaned inwardly, certain disaster was inevitable. Please, please, please don't mess up the ceremony. Please, please, please!

Fembrem shifts, his long fur waving in silky patterns. "Well, why shouldn't we be, child? It is the eclipse day, after all... I wouldn't be surprised if darling Krul himself showed up." (Krul is the Hades-evil dude -_- I just haven't made him up yet... ) He turns back to the sun, rainbow eyes glittering under the light. "And I can hear your thoughts, night-vixen.... You needn't worry so. As I said before, I'm just here to... watch. What've I done to deserve this kind of treament, anyway?" He sighs to himself, attempting to look forlorn, then ruins it with a giggle.

Despite his rather unstable grin, he really was quite a handsome varg... an advantage of being a god, I suppose. Explains why so many of his children are loitering about the Earth these days... >.> <.< ... Giving a cheerful little wave of his horns to the curious passerby, he lays down, fur blowing as if under a gentle breeze... despite the lack of said breeze. 0.o
His odd eyes remain fixed on great Jahmut himself for quite a while, then he says softly, "Finally, my brother..."

Kanai snorted at Ionanili. Zagilan rolled his eyes at Kanai and said, "And a most gracious thanks to you, miss. I am Zaligan, and this is Kanai. Our Clan is under construction, if I may say so myself."

Then his eyes turned to Fembrem, and they widened considerably, not only at the sight of the god, but at what he asked. "Um, very well, your lordship." He glanced over at Kanai, who had the who-the-heck-is-this-guy expression on her face.

Standing up, Zaligan asked Ionanili, "May I escort you to the Eclispe Celebration?"

And I only put that last thing in there if we're positive we're doing a celebration. Ignore it if we're not...))

In response to Zaligan's confusion/wierdedoutness, Fembrem merely sports a knowing grin, then plants himself closer to the green and rainbow-feathered varg. "Yes, escort her, do! Better yet, escort Kanai, as well! Grandchildren, all around!!" He knew very well the goings-on of his people, and so had an inkling that Kanai 'liked' Zaligan. It made him happy- despite the fact that he's an odd, annoying, and mixed-up crackpot of a god, he loved his family. But even more than that, he enjoyed annoying people... and he got the feeling he'd done just that. He felt no real remorse for being so tactless.. it was his job, after all... and anyway, being wierd made people write him off as a crazy old loon, and he enjoyed being underestimated. It's just his own backwards way of thinking.

Noctivaga's mouth opened and closed a few times, and Amandine almost missed the little gasp of "night-vixen?! before she nudged her darker furred friend into snapping out of her shock.

"Celeste should probably be almost ready by now," she said, with a glance at the darkening sky. "I wonder what's keeping Leroy?"

The young priestess of Rajhillu tilted her snout to the sky, eyes closed, ears back, still contemplating the mystery of Rajhillu's union with Jahmut. Extenebrae lowered himself to the ground patiently. He would wait.

Four foxflii's traveled together in what seemed like small pack but more so they were close friends Galaxy's Sun was out in front. He was a small like puppy though he was still young, so he still had a lot of energy. His galaxy like coat shined rather brightly at times, and his tail would wag furiously. A female followed him her name was Ventya, her tail seemed somewhat shorter more like a tail of a horse instead of a fox. She had green dragon wings that were folded at her side, and she only chuckled watching Galaxy run around. Behind her was a big male with white fur and black leopard spots, and a few tiger strips. His clear butterfly like wings were fluttering somewhat over his back, and his paws were much larger then normal foxflii's were and more furrier. The last one that was walking by Hikaru Yuki, her name was Sunset's Ray's. She had three tails and a beautiful fur coat that would remind anyone of the sunset.
The four walked up and saw something going on Sunset looked her tails wagging slightly "What do you think is going on there?"
Hikaru shook his head "I am not really sure what is going on at all lets go check it out." he started walking forward as the others followed, but Galazy already had bolted forward to see what was going on. He glanced around getting closer and closer to the other foxflii's and soon he stopped and ran back to the others somewhat frightened at first.

(i know somewhat of a bad entery but I couldn't think of anything else>.<)

"Yes. Night-vixen. A term of endearment, if you will... I hope you aren't offended." For the first time that day, he actually sounded like he had all his marbles, and the sadistic grin was finally wiped off his face. This must be the real Fembrem... the one he is when nobody's looking. He gives a little awkward cough, then the crooked smile creeps back, and he looks over his shoulder. "Someone's coming. Four someones, I should add."

((He's the youngest of the gods... so in god-years he's actually quite young ^.^ The youngest brother, actually. When he isn't creepy-annoying-guy, he's actually quite nice and serious... But it takes quite a lot to get the alternate persona to show. ^.^ Erm, I have NO idea why I said that, but ok. Little tidbit of info or summat.))

Kanai's first thought was of 'Yes, escort me instead of that dingbat.' Then her eyes widen with surprise, terror, and utter humilation. She had tried several times to tell Zaligan about her, watching the stars being on of them, but the words never came out right. And here it was, suddenly out in the blue.

Zaligan turned and raised his eyebrows at her and Kanai, regaining her composture slid past him and said, "I have -no- clue what's he's talking about." She made sure her tails flicked his cheek, just in case.

Zaligan had actually known for a while that Kanai had liked him. He felt bad for her, suddenly knowing that she was embarrassed by the Trickster God in the worst way. He admired her bravery, but not enough to respond to the cheek flick.

Noctivaga shot Fembrem a suspicious look. "I don't need your kind of endearment, if that's what you call it." A light bulb suddenly clicked on in her head that - oh, yeah - this was a god she was speaking to. Oops.

Luckily Amandine was bouncing with sheer delight at the mention of the approaching foxfliis. "Oy! Oy! Over here! Yes, yes! More bodies for the party! Ahem, I mean the ceremony, of course."

((lol. I had this kind of creepy idea that femmy could stalk/be-a-mad-fanboy-of Nocti... i'm so wierd. Why would he do that? Oh, rigggghhhhtt... I can make him!!! teehee.))

In response to that, Fembrem merely shrugs and gives a wordless smile, then looks up at the sun. "Jahmut's apex will begin the eclipse... looks like we've only got a few hours left until it begins." He blinks, realizing he was acting much too "good" for a trickster god. Oh well.


((-_- So many things are going on... it's wierd! And femmy's just making it worse...
At least we're using names instead of descriptions, like we did at the feos )

Hikaru blinked seeing one Foxflii seemed to be over excited with them being there, he just chuckled and walked over while the others seemed to follow "Well hello there I am Hikaru" he fluttered his wings a little and galnced around
Ventya smiled nodding slightly "I'm Ventya a lot seem to call me Venty though...." she looked somewhat annoyed with that but really she didn't care that much "That dark one with the galaxy pattern his name is Galaxy's Sun or Galaxy...he tends to be to busy with other things to introduce himself" She perked her ears up somewhat.
Galaxy was wagging his tail looking at all the foxflii's gathered around and was to busy to think about talking at all.
Sunset wagged all three of her tails and bowed her head barely "I'm Sunset may I ask what is going on here?" she looked around seeing all the interesting foxflii's that had gathered around.
