 Ionanili, the alpha female of her pack, journeyed through her lands, seaching for prey. Her sensitive nose twitched each time she caught a sent, but she was forced to keep going evey time, for all the scents were stale. Sitting down, she growled in frustration. She was almost at her borders -no, wait, she was at her borders - and no sign of prey. |

Rikku sniffed the air, trying to sense any danger coming towards the members of the clan he belonged to. He didn't see any, so went off into the territory of the clan. Wandering along, he caught the sent of the Alpha female, Ionanili. He turned around, always being a little intimidated by her rank, but then decided against it. He was in her clan, meaning she could not harm him.. at least not very much. He walked a little to her right, so as to not disturb her, and tried to find some food for his growling stomach.

Ionanili sensed the soft pawsteps of an animal, and stopped, testing the air. Was it prey? No...the wind brought her the scent of a another Foxflii, Rikku, from her own clan. Relaxing, the purple and gray female angled her course to intercept Rikku's. When she could see him through the undergrowth, she walked up next to him. "Any luck?" she asks, cheerfully. The gray male moved up behind his packmates, giving them a wolfish grin. "Hey, prey is scarce, but if we team up perhaps we can find some." he suggests. He would be out hunting with his mae, Melinatala, but she had stayed behind to keep Nuriasta company so that the childish Foxflii couldn't ruin the other's hunts. |

 Far above in the skies, Jahmut watched the preceding events with wondering eyes... Being that he never stopped his daily trek around the earth, He knew so little about his kind. How he wished he could stop, for just one day or two, and see what normal, mortal life was like.. He felt like a father torn apart from his children, and it agonized him terribly. But it was the irony of the situation that really irkled him. If he were to go to the ones he loved, they would surely die, cold and hungry without his warmth... But staying up here.. he could not even see them as any more than the specks his god-sight gave him... It made him so very angry that his flame burnt even brighter, for a few moments... But quickly it dies out again. The only solace he had was in the upcoming eclipse, the time when Rajhillu would come and visit him in the stars, blocking out his light... And the eclipse would begin soon, he just knew it. |

Trotting up from the far side of hill to the west, two sleek foxflii vixens, matched pace for pace, chatted as they took their afternoon walk.
Or at least one of them chatted.
The fair foxflii with the earring was keeping a running one-sided conversation - though for whose benefit was somewhat unclear - while the star-flecked blue held a faintly pained expression on her pretty face.
She groaned finally. "Jahmut in the sky, Amandine! Do you ever shut up?!"

((Jahmut's a god. ^.^ So I own him and thus he may be all flam-ey without being burnt to a crsipy-licious sandwich! ^.6 He is the Sun god, and Rajhillu's mate... When she comes up to *cough* visit every once and a while, her power blocks out his and we witness a solar eclipse.. I thought that would be a cool plot or summat... >.> <.< Ok, Ok, OK! I admit it, I was just showing my pretty off... And yet, there in the pit of his stomach there was a growing feeling... The Eclipse would be today. |

A varg and a vixen sat on a nearby hill talking. Just talking. Wondering about little things, like why the grass was green and the ocean blue. "Kanai," the varg said suddenly, "Do you ever wonder what's up there?" "Up where, Zaligan?" Kanai asked, exasperated. "You know. In the sky. Beyond the gods and the heavens. Have you ever wondered what the stars are made off?" Kanai laughed. "You are -so- random." She leaned against in, buried in his warm green fur. Suddenly, she caught scent of more Foxfliis. From a different Clan. She turned to warn Zaligan, but he had smelt them too. (((ooc: i totally vote for a ceremony of some sorts. since celeste is a priestess of rajhillu, i think she should be leading her clan - i still need to get a page up for my clan of 5 - and maybe the neighboring clans in some sort of eclipse ceremony. maybe it could be a big gathering of all the clans. like a jamboree. a big inter-clan party in honor of the eclipse after the actual ceremony)))

(I'm not posting pics this time but both o' mine are still here! I vote a ceremony that happens as the eclipse itself does. All the Shamans could gather with the "pope" and lead a celebration with all the foxfliis in attendance.) Ionanili sensed the other Foxfliis, which must all be wandering about, to be this close to the Tvisha Melanion clanlands. That, or perhaps they were clanless? If so, she would gladly welcome them to her own clan. She quickly gathered her straide and bounded forward, finding four Foxfliis. The first two she saw were both females, one blue and the other cream. When she turned her head she saw two more of her kind, one a brilliant green color with many tails. Her ears pricked and she stood silent, waiting to see what the others would do.
Bomingan ran to keep up with his Alpha, and slowed in time to not run into her as they stopped by the other Foxfliis. Taking cue from Ionanili's silence he stood firmly without moving and waited for some sort of cue for him to move or do something. |

Zaligan noticed that this was the Alpha of a Clan, and bowed respectively. Kanai eyed him, wondering if he was showing submission. Zagilan turned and looked at her with the 'I know what I'm doing' look. Reluctantly, Kanai followed suit.
"Hail, Alpha of an Unknown Pack!" cried Zaligan. "We are here-"
"Oh shut up," Kanai interuppted him, standing up. "Kay, lady, we're here cause we wanted to look at the stars. Is that a problem?"
Zaligan too stood up, but not before shaking his head. The Alpha hadn't said anything yet. How could Kanai be so stupid?
