Thunder boomed from above, as rain poured down in icy torrents. The trees surrounding a small meadow shook with the force of the weather, branches occasionally snapping in the winds that tore through them. In the very center of the meadow was a Tsume. He lay stretched out, with no canopy or protection of any sort from the violent weather. In fact, he wanted nothing between him and the rain; nothing to shield his body from the wind. A look of bliss had settled over his face, and his eyes were closed. Like the sunbathing rock-lizards, he thought to himself, lazily flicking his rain-washed tail, tipped with its tiny wings. But this is so much better than sun...

The storm was very strange for the orchard she thought, but then again most unnatural ones did seem odd didn't they? It wasn't completely awful walking through the rain and sleet, even the thunder did not bother her ears and who could complain about such a wind? It felt almost as if you were flying whilst on the ground. But she knew it would pass as all things did, except for her... She always seemed to persist through the ages past and yet to come... But that didn't matter right now. "Having some fun are we?" A voice asked from right beside him, it didn't seem like anyone had walked up or that anything had happened in between the emptiness of the air and then the sudden appearance of the tsume... As if it had already been there but he had not noticed. "But I am sure it is making it uncomfortable for some others, not to mention the trees... Does that thought ever bother you?" Her voice was strangley clear through the rain and wind... And it was somewhat soft but held a strongness behind it, and held a scholarly feeling to it.

"Yes, yes we are having fun," the Tempest Tsume responded, not particularly surprised at the sort-of-new arrival, or at least not bothered by her sudden presence. He glanced around at the trees, and briefly at her, before closing his eyes again. "I'm sure the trees appreciate the water, as should the others in the area." A small, mischeivious grin flitted across his face. "Water is a source of life, isn't it?"
He sighed deeply, raising his head and causing the rain to slide down his neck. "Though I suppose I should give the others a break, and the trees as well."
He opened his eyes for a moment to look up at the clouds, then closed them. The sound of cracking branches subsided... though the storm above him did not. He'd simply narrowed the scope of the storm to extend just to the small meadow.
"Better?" He opened his eyes again to look at her.

She let out a small chuckle at his simple reply, he was almost always composed wasn't he? Although she wasn't sure if she had met him yet, or if this was the first time.... Again. It was always so annoying when she had to go back and change stuff, it was a hard but difficult game to try and figure out the long term effects of altering a moment or two. "I am sure they appreciate the water, however the breaking of branches and severe wind is more damaging than the rain is helpful... Not that you needed to stop, I was just wondering if you had thought about it."
She smiled at him, as she checked her watch... This was early, the storm should have persisted for atleast two more seconds. oh well. Her tail flicked to the side in slight irritation, slicing through the grass and such without so much as a sound... Althoug that was not the only strange thing about her, the rain... It landed against her as would be expected but she just appeared to be slightly damp rather than soaked... "Ah, this might be a odd question, but is this the first time we have met?"

He watched lazily as she looked at her watch, catching her slight irritation, but not the reason for it. He shrugged it off. Maybe she didn't like rain.
"Eh, I guess I've thought about it. But just as some don't like rain so much, there are others, like me, that do. And it seems to rain this hard naturally so rarely... sometimes I think the world needs a few more storms." He smiled, stretching a bit and sitting up. He reveled in the feeling of the rain sliding down his back for a moment. "I suppose that might be part of the reason for my existance."
At her odd question, he blinked. "As far as I can tell, yes. I don't seem to remember you," he replies. "Nor have I introduced myself, have I? I am Vurrivey." He offered a small bow of his head with the introduction.

She looked up at the sky as he talked about the storms, it was very true that it rarely rained this hard... Here atleast, and it was pleasant... So Chaotic and hard to predict, that was what she liked so much about severe storms even more than the actual effect that they had... It was easy for her to simply watch them without knowing what was going to happen next.
Then her gaze was drawn earthwards once more, towards the other tsume... A wingless tempest, while it did happen occasionally usually they started out with wings however, unlike this one which was born this way "I must admit that I enjoy this sort of storm, and the world would be much less exciting without the existence of the tempests." She said with an amused air, she would have to remember this person...
"Ah, yes, I have such a hard time keeping track of people." She gave a small laugh at this then returned with a similar nod of her head. "I am Aimser'lan, It is a pleasure to meet you Vurrivey." The way she spoke made it seem like she had alot of practice talking in polite company, but something about it still seemed odd... Like he had heard it before, but even now was having some amount of difficulty remembering what she said.

He grins, looking a smidge bashful at her comment. "Why, thank you, my lady," he replies. "It's comforting to find others that can admit their love for storms, instead of focusing on the inconvenience of them." He looked lovingly up to the dark clouds for a moment.
He looked back at her, studying her markings, blade-like tail, and finally, her watch. "You are... ahh... concerned with Time, I take it?" He tilted his head slightly to the side. "I have never seen another quite like you, Aimser'lan." He pauses. "Though, I have not really seen too many of our kind, I admit." He chuckles. "They are all too few where I dwell, unfortunately. It is nice to have a companion such as you." He smiles at her.

She chuckled at his comment about the storms, because she knew that he would not always find them to his liking, Indeed there would soon be a time when the weather would be rather against him. It'd be best not to ruin his day though, so she kept such thoughts to herself.
She shrugged at his comment about her watch, looking again at the item in question for a moment... "I lose track of time easily, So I carry this around with me, Thus far it has been useful." She answered easily, It was probably the only material thing she actually kept... It was so hard to find a clock that made no sound... Ergh, she shuddered at the thought of those clocks the humans kept, always ringing, ticking, clacking it made her head spin whenever she was near them. "It has been some time since I have seen a tsume out here, although where I roam they are rather plentiful." She smiled back at him, and then slowly sat down beside him, tossing her mane to the other side of her neck to rid it of some water.
"Well, you may have my Company for as long as you would like. For now, I am in no hurry." She spoke softly, then reached over and caught a single piece of hail that would have bounced off of his nose. How she knew it was coming.... Who knows.

"I suppose it would be useful," he replied to her comment about the watch. He offered a sheepish smile. "I've been accused of losing track of time. Especially when I have specific engagements to attend... and when the weather is as beautiful as it currently is." He winked, knowing full well that few would find his thunderstorm so pretty. "And it's hard to tell the time by looking at the sun... when the sun is quite thoroughly hidden." He grinned again.
He blinked when she caught the hail. "So, a watch, lovely markings, and good reflexes," he commented. "And, you like storms. Fine company indeed, and so I am glad to have it."
He glanced down his stomach, which dripped mud, as he'd been laying on the ground in the torrential pouring. "However, I seem hardly fit for anyone's company, much less a lady." His habitual grin flashed across his face once more, and he stretched up to let the rain rinse the mud off of him.

'Lan nodded, shaking her head when he mentioned that he easily lost track of time... He had no idea just how different it was for her, but that wasn't his fault and also made little difference to what he had to say... It just amused her somewhat.
Ah, right but this was their first meeting, She gave a small shy-ish smile at his wink and looked off towards the horizon of the clouds, where a thread of light was visible between the clouds and the sky. It was atleast still day time. "You flatter me Vurrivey." She said in a slightly bashful way, of course she not only knew it was true, absolutely loved it when people complimented her, or rather mentioned her obviously present abilities.
After his comment about his current state of cleanliness, or lack of it rather, she moved over a little bit and began to help him remove some of the mud by messaging the water through his short fur. "You seem perfectly fit to me." Well, whatever shyness was in her voice earlier obviously was not that prevelant in her actions, since few would seem so bold as she appeared to be right now without actually knowing the other for awhile...
Of course, she had known him for awhile... Sort of.

"Well," Vurrivey responded when she commented on his flattery of her, "the flattery is well-deserved!"
When she moved to help him de-mud himself, he blinked, surprised. He hadn't expected the boldness... not that he wanted to complain, though. For an instant, it almost felt natural, as if he'd known her for much longer than this short time, but the feeling passed quickly, as if simply deja-vu of some sort.
Had he not been such a lovely shade of blue, he would have blushed a bit, not having much experience with females (to his memory, at least), but he refrained. However, he couldn't refrain from giggling a bit, and nearly falling over... he was slightly ticklish, apparently. "Thank... heeee, youuu, ehehe," he managed to get out, as the mud made its way out of his fur and back to the ground.

She laughed and blushed slightly, shaking her head at him. Maybe she'd have to send some good luck his way, it was always amusing to help people out... Especially when they were as nice as him, and when it made the Fates really angry.
She was always happy to help her friends, especially when it didn't involve her using her powers, and after all... What was alittle mud anyways? It was much easier to wash off her hands than it would be for him to remove it all with just the rain... Not to mention that her hands would just get muddy again when she had to walk or anything.
"Hehe You are welcome." she said then shook some of the mud that was on her hands off onto the ground, before looking up and smiling at him again. "A bit ticklish? Heh, me too..."

"Hehehe," Vurrivey giggled as the last of the mud came off. He smiled, looking awkward for a few seconds at her blush. Females blushing weren't something he was accustomed to. Then again, neither was company that didn't mind the rain. This Tsume was definitely not who he would have expected to come along as he was basking in his rainshower... but he was rather glad that she had come along.
He nodded. "Usually, there's no one else around who bothers to test out whether or not I'm ticklish, and I forget that I am," he said. "Thanks for reminding me!" He paused, tilting his head again to look at her. "And just how ticklish are you?" He grinned, a mischevious glint in his eyes, and pounced at her, reaching out to tickle her sides.

And in truth she wasn't very used to females blusing either, She hardly ever blushed but right now... She was more focusing on their current moment than the future or past, Something that she rarely did and was infact very difficult for her to do.
She chuckled when he said that no one usually bothered to test out whether he was ticklish, and the thanks for reminding him... When he asked how ticklish she was, of course, she did not need to see the future in order to tell what was coming, And luckily swung her tail out to the side to avoid... Injury. it was very, Very sharp after all.
And as he soon found out, she was rather ticklish, she rarely made physical contact with... Anyone and thus had never built up a tolerance to it, Futilely clutching at her sides and laughing as he tickled her.

Vurrivey gleefully tickled Aimser'lan, feeling more comfortable with her than he would have expected to feel with a 'stranger'. In his mind, he wondered why that was. She was so new and rather intriguing to him, and yet somehow familiar. He hadn't had enough contact with other Tsumes to have gotten any sort of same-species-comfort from them, so it couldn't be that. Nor had he been actively looking for a mate or anything of that sort, so it wasn't that either. Well, unless his biological clock had different ideas than his brain. She was a rather attractive Tsume, after all...
Finally, he let 'Lan go, grinning, and giving her a chance to catch her breath. "Well," I've answered that question," he said, flicking his tail playfully. "I think it's safe to say that we are both very, very ticklish."
