When she was finished Joth hung his head and grimaced. "Looks like I gotten myself in to deep dungheep." With a tired sigh he lay back down muttered. "Alright best to get it over with...what's my sentence? You don't have to be nice and save till later I can take it. What's gonna be my punishment for my stupidity?"

she rolled her eyes. "looks like your back to your old self. don't worry, no punishment for you." kaylin said. THUNK! they all gasped and gazed over to where it had come fom. "meeww" a fluffy cat jumped up on to joth be. "meow! mewww" it purred while batting at neyana the raven.

"Pok!" Clucked Neyena flicking her tail she hopped up on the bedpost away from the cat's reach. Playful or not Neyena wasn't really in the mood for a kitty's batting. Plus with that forlorn weary look on his face neither was Joth.
"No more animals..." Groaned the Mouse growing tried.

"well, another days gone and its time to hit the sack." andrean yawned and turned around to leave the room while kaylin followed. "nighty night!" andrean said then shut the door. he then over heard a talk. "any thing you girls want to eat?" the healer said. "nope. to tired" andrean replied. "same here" kaylin let out a yawn. "alright then. i'll see if joth needs a little bite to eat. food helps healing ye'know" she then went to joths room dropping off somed food and water. "you'll need all the energy byou can get, so please eat. call me if you need anything"

Joth nodded and muttered a low thanks then wolfed down his meal like he had went through a five year famine. He hadn’t had a good full meal in a long time (and his thin body showed it).
Whipping his mouth across his sleeve he was about ready to lay down and go to sleep when he noticed the raven had remained with him. She had been so quite and still that despite her large dark from Joth had forgotten she was still there perched on the bed post.
The Mouse eyed Neyena with unease, after everything that had happened to him with all the talking beasts, bizarre enchantments, and a deranged undead long lost sister, the Mouse wasn’t quite sure that was a good idea to be in the same room with this bird.
Too tired to do anything about it. He thought closing his eyes falling into a deep sleep.

it soon was morning as andrean began to stir. "whoa.. look at the time..." she got up and looked out the window. "rise and shine mousey! hope you got a good night of sleep! we gotta leave soon." she gave him a playful tug. "you gotta help me get lady long ears outa' bed!" she crossed her arms gazing out the door. "i'm all ready up! your a late sleeper eh?" kaylin answered obviously she heard what she said to joth.

The thief just rolled to his side buried his head deeper into the pillow and let out a pitiful whine. "Hmm...Just a bit longer...I haven't slept in a proper bed for months."
He was about to doze off when something landed on his pillow and playfully pulled his ear.
"Hey! Cut it out!" He cried jumping out of bed to turn and see the feathery form of the raven. The bird let out a eerie chuckle eyeing him with amused yellow eyes.
"Turd bird!" He hissed and snatching a pillow he raised it up about ready to give the cheeky raven a good wacking when out of nowhere bright flashes of lightening suddenly shot down from the wooden ceiling zapping the thief.
It didn't really hurt but it sure gave him a 'shock' of his life.
"Best be more thoughtful when dealing with magical beasts." Laughed the raven. "We can be just as mischievous as you are."

Joth was not wholly amused. "Hmpth. Blast me again crow and it's murder most fowl!"
Neyena snapped her beak. "Raven." She corrected him calmly and cocked her head gazing at the thief's rather showy nightgown. "Now I think we shall leave for you to change into something less revealing."
It took a moment for Joth to figure it out. He looked down and his eyes went wide. Without his baggy cloths the gown not only showed his boney scrawnyness but was high cut at the bottom and -since nobody bother to give him any decent pants- if he bent down to touch his toes odds are he'd 'moon' anyone standing behind him.
"Oh!" The Mouse went bright red.
This is why I don't trust healers very well! Why do they make us wear these...It's humiliating! Least I'm wearing undergarments!
Grabbing a sheet off the bed he wrapped the sheet around him and holding it up with one hand he waved rapidly at the girls (Neyena included) with his one free hand. "Go! Go! I'll be right down in a few seconds! Just go!"

"righty-o" andrean said while neyana hoped up on her shoulder. "but hurry up! we gotta get going!" she called through the door. after he got dressed he went to the dining room. "there you are... could you give me some help? andrean went out to saddle the horses along with the healer" kaylin said. her shiney hair was frazzled, a few pencils scatterd around the floor and a huge map in her hands. "i was plaqnning where we where going to go, and thing went bad." she said when joth got every thing picked up.

"We?" Joth repeated rasing an eyebrow and shook his head. "Oh no...Ladies I'm afraid you're mistaken. There's no we."
The theif let out a sigh and his voice took on a serious tone. "The point is...I'm not going with you. You have saved my life and I'm very greatful for it but to speak the truth I can never repay your kindness. I have no honor nor will I ever have any. I'm a petty thief not some warrior...knight or anything of the likes." He paused and added. "You understand what I'm saying."

"yes i do. but you dont understand me" she gave him a just a serious look. "i will do anything for my kingdom and my friends. yes you are a theif but so is andrean."she turned her back and looked out window. " there are few of us left. the kingdoms pure heart has turned black.... oh.. never mind my babbling, you dont have to stay.." she fliped close her map leaving the house banging the door closed. "andrean? only saddle two horses ok. and make sure they are the fastest one." kaylin said to her friend. "eh, there are three." then andrean went silly and said "if joths not comming, then i geuss the raven can have one!" she giggled with a sly grin and looked at the raven "we would be a sight." she then went into the house leaving kaylin outside. "mousey! your not comming?" she sat next to him crossing her arms. "c'mon! two lone girls adventuring alone? do you know the danger we would be in? and besides, kaylin, and i value you as a friend."

The Thief hesitated at the door then hung his head sadly and shook it.
And that’s when Neyena broke her silence. Still perched on the princess’s shoulder she lowered her beak and whispered into her ear.
“Despite his decision I feel the heart of this...Mouse speaks otherwise.” She paused and at that moment she would of smiled if she had lips that is.
“Bring the third horse with us and let us travel at a steady pace. So that Joth can catch up with us if he changes his mind.”
The raven closed her right yellow eye imitating a wink.

kaylin winked back. "well i geuss this is goodbye." she said turning so joth could not see her grin. full of hopes she saddled the third one. "whoee! kaylin! help how do you ride these things?" she almost fell of the tall horse. "oh you will get it!" she looked at andrean then looked at joth's far shape in the distance. "i hope he dose come back." she wisperd to the raven.

"He will."
Answered the raven and ruffled her feathers. "In the meantime I will fly and be on the lookout for him and for any sign of danger."
She took off souring high above the riders eyes keen and alert.
Meanwhile, back at the town Joth stood there alone watching the princess and her two companions slowly fade away in the distance. His face soured and for a long time said or did nothing but stand and watch.
Till the Mouse slaped the side of his head and let out a cried. "What am I doing?" And with that the thief bolted right after the girls heart pounding chest heaving hoping that he'll be able to catch up.
