"I-I-I'm fine!" The sword fell out of Joth's hand and fell backwards onto the ground. He wasn't wounded or anything but the shock of what he had just done finaly caught up to his little mousey brain.

" but we must make hast! that beast will come back!worst than last!"

"And I'm not crazy enough to fight it again!" Joth cried leaping to his feet. "Or drunk for that matter! Were do we run to?"

Snatching his sword and shoving it back into it's steath the Mouse with a grunt picked up the fallen girl. "No need...I can carry her."

"sure you can" kaylin rolled her eyes "let me help you"

they went thru the woods, unil they reached a strange doorway out in the open. come "come with me" kaylin led him thru the door. a rush of magic swirled around them. then they wound up in a strange castle like thing. joth asked what this place was and she replied " this is a castle made of the magic of my family. it comes in handy as a hideout." then she called "luna bell!" then a strange little blue fairy like thing flew up. "OH! hi prwincess kawlin! oooh! who be you??" she talked so fast joth could not understand her. she flew up in his face and inspected every hair on his head. "luna bell! be nice!" kaylin said when she tuged one a plug of hair.joth and kaylin swated at the fairy who got tangled in his hair. they wound up laghing until they cried because of the strang but silly little fairy.

With a sigh the Mouse rubbed his dirty face across his sleeve and said. "Heeheeh, alright enough with the magical whatevers, how long are you gonna keep me here?"

"well. the people are enraged. why...*sigh* dont ask. but if they saw you...uhhh... ACK! I ant tell you what theyed do to you." she shuddered. "you dont have to stay here, but be warned. the reason I brought you hereis for saftey...(for all of us)"

"umm...." the maiden stirred. "w-where am i?" she said slopply. "Adrean! oh! I'm glad your awake!" "kaylin! bu-but wheres that thing?" she looked around the room. "aoh. you seacreet hide out!" she said with a bit of an accent. "Woaah!" she stumbled back when she saw joth. "it!-he!-theif-thingy! woah!" kaylin gave her a look. "don't worry." "adreeean!!!" the fairy sqeeked. "uh oh." kaylin said under her breath.

"Somehow I'd knew you'd say thing like that." Sighed Joth slinking back into a corner. Part of the job of being thief is that your lack of popularity and save for your fellow thieves and beggars everybody wants to happily hang you. Or impale your head on a stake.
Which was why, by Joth's guess the elf was keeping his presence a secret.

The thief winced slightly at the girl, Adrean's, sudden outburst.
She must of seen my face on the Wanted Posters He thought.

"Hey, now!" He cried holding up his hands. "I'm a thief yes but I'm not that bad! What they put on the Wanted Posters is just over exacerbated dungheap!"

"oa....fine! i was a theif once...the gypsies tok me in.. i soon learned not to be so theifish... but i do like to -..bla bla....its a looooong story."
