Joth raised a amused eyebrow. "Really?" He let out a low whistle. "I think I might of saw your face on the Wanted's, right next to the Black Fox and the Nightshade."
The young gave her a smile and a wink. If this girl was a fellow thief she might recondise the two names. Both were two of the best of the best (or worst) thieves in all the land.

The thief put his arms behind his back and leaning forward his said. "Your little pickings I suppose? Yes, show me! I'm Joth, by the way, Joth Bowen the Mouse."
Joth smiled and did a little bow. Now that the danger was over or put on temporary hold, the young thief went back into his cocky -and when women were present- charming self.
He was still a bit uneasy around Kaylin, thinking it rather strange that a maiden or rather a elf would welcome in two petty thieves? Either she thought they were some poor humans in need of TLC or needed them for something.
Most likely she wants me or us to do something for her. Thought the thief. Such unexplained charity was so uncommon these days and kindness or not Joth did not entirely trust this elf.

Joth whorled about facing the elf. "WHAT!" He cried pointing a worried finger at her. "Y-you can read my thoughts?"
Terror suddenly griped the thief, if the princess could read minds then it was a good bet that she'd could easily pry into his privet life.
And find out all about my humiliation and darkest secrets! He thought. Great! Bad enough that's she a princess but a mind reader as well? Criggets, now I have to.....DOH!
The thief winced suddenly realizing what he was thinking and tried to unthink his thoughts, which of course didn't work very well.

Under the dirt the color slowly came back to Joth's face realising that the elf didn't pick up his thoughts.
"Then I will be sure to avoid you next time that happens." He rolled his eyes. "And you best stay out of my mind. Believe me." Joth tapped his forehead. "I don't think you want to know what goes in the Mouse's brain....It's quite uhh...dirty she-elf."

"alritey! fallow me." she lead him down a dark passage. "here we go! jewals gold and all that other stuff!" wow. there was neclaces bracelets pendants gold rings dimonds rubies and other eye dazzlers. "ah...heres my favorit one!" she picked up a dazzling green-wait no blue-no! red.....Rainbowish gem swirling with color.

The Mouse's mouth hung loosely like a gaping fish and his eyes widen at the sheer volume of....booty! A Dragon's hoard more likely not even the greatest of thieves that he knew ever gotten such fortune.
The thief stood there completely dumbstruck for a few long moments till finally he scratched his head (lice were getting nippy again) and said in a low voice.
"By the gods! you’re better then I thought!!" How the heck did you managed to nab all this!”
